5:25 Actually its very deep. Godo is saying you don't need a big dream. If you just live your life, you will find sparks. The sparks are symbolism for happiness. But Griffith says the opposite. Griffith says that without a dream, you are worthless. Already dead. So who is right? Maybe you two can talk about it next episode. Is Godo right or is Griffith right?
Don't do godo like that man. his words are simple but his sentiment and what hes trying to say is very relevant to guts conundrum regarding dreams and the direction of his life. its kind of like comparing a yuppie desperately trying to fit into the materialistic world with a "big" dream of being rich af only to feel empty and depressed...where as the simple fisherman is content in his humble life with his family. with that said i feel like godo has some regrets and sadness in his own life. i feel like the sparks in his life is the only thing that hasnt let him down just yet haha.
We were not meaning any disrespect to Godo lol, what he said is very clear, meaningful and helpful for guts, however the way he said about it was pretty fun :)
I'm really hyped for you both! No spoilers here - A lot happens in the next episode, but it's really, really nice. Judeau is also one of the best supporting characters and has been since the very beginning. What do you think of him so far? Do you have much of an opinion or any thoughts about him? The only thing I wish you'd have done differently is watch this with the English dub. It's great and better than the Japanese dub in my opinion. The whole cast sound great, so the odd bit of cheesiness here and there can easily be forgiven. It's one of the best dubs in my view, and I can't watch it any other way.
I hope you guys watch The Memorial Edition from like 2 years ago. Its my favorite adaptation. Action scenes are way better. And scenery and everything is beautiful.
We probably will watch it later, but not sure if we will be able to do it on UA-cam, soon we create a Patreon and will release it there in couple months after we finish 1997 show
Haha, I actually suggested to to least watch the last 20 minutes of the final film after finishing the anime and they said they may well do. We'll see. They'll get a more complete end to the anime that way at least.
Sabina is so happy after seeing guts is back
They way Guts shows up and casually kicks that guy into the tent thats on fire. Lol such a Chad

@@DenverSenpai Thanks! It really went good.
You know, torture used to be a punishment. Its purpose was not interrogation but to completely destroy a person, mind body and soul.
Totally agree!

Dub sounds terrible
@@LilSpookyyy It really doesn't and a ton of people prefer the dub over sub, including myself, but each to their own.
@@Renikade nah a ton prefer sub too so
