English isn't my first language either, but your simplified English cracks me up. Maybe I'm more critical than the English (Americans) themselves, but take it as advice. When she killed the 1st class proctor she wasn’t imagining cutting his defense, she was imagining cutting his cloak. In episode 20 Wirbel stated that her cutting magic had a range of 5 meters and Uber confirmed this fact. Frieren would only need to stay outside Ubel’s range and then hit Ubel with enough offensive magic to deplete her mana reserves like Frieren did to Denken in their battle.

You know, joke's on me for assuming a band of vikings that only sort of raised him would have taught Thorfinn "please" and "thank you". Serie turning her back to the sun, while Frieren facing it when they were discussing the future. Visual story telling and symbolism masterclass!

One theory I saw that I really like is that in addition to advancing humanity against the demons, Flamme also founded humanity's magic so that there would be plenty of mages in the future to keep the world of magic interesting for Serie so she doesn't get bored. Also, I don't think Serie really had a problem with what Flamme's will said. She just had a problem with Flamme's will existing at all, because it meant that Flamme had passed away.

It's funny, the narrative makes you think that the Edel scene is about the hypnosis magic, but it turns out the real point of that scene was the impromptu lesson in shield magic.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but the reason the ending scenes are different is literally because they took the artwork from the light novels and animated them. It’s the mangaka’s actual work just animated.

Well...that's a wild choice on the t-shirt Sabina!!! Hahaha very otaku like. There are lots of biblical references and symbols through all this series starting by the name "Neon Genesis Evangelion" meaning "The good news of the new creation". Angels are also a reference, Adam, Evas, Lilith, Lilins and much more. The series brought some of the Jew and Christian symbolism and lore together to give it a twist for the lore of the anime. And yes...there's a lot of fan service on all Hideaki Ano work. But the main point on this is the personal relationships and the building of a will to live.

Asuka is what it is called in the manga and anime as a tsundere. A girl that plays hard to get and it is cold and aggressive.
