Having built a few Tamiya kits myself, I have to say the models go together nice, and I have never had a problem with a Tamiya kit. They are very well made from the factory.
I really like how you put what paints and how much you hissed in the top right hand corner very handy
One of these kits landed on my lap and building NMF version, so rewatched it. Like the patina you got on the metal.
Well now my Tamiya 1/48 P-47M kit just got moved forward in the stack of models I'm waiting to start. Excellent work sir
I wish I was this talented!! If you open the kit, throw some glue in and shake it up a bit, that’s typically how my models turn out. Beautiful work!
Beautiful NMF Razorback! Excellent build as usual. Take care and stay safe.
The result is simply awesome! You've create the illusion of a real plane "miniaturized". And this is my favourite WWII plane too! Thank You and congrats!🏆🏆🏆
Beautiful! Just finished Tamiya’s 1/72 bubble-top P-47 and nothing but good memories - they’re such similar kits, and wonderful builds.
I've built a Stuka and P-51 brush painting. I think they turned out fairly well. I'm thinking about diving into airbrushing after watching some of these videos. Very nice work!
Just watched my first video on your site and thoroughly enjoyed your vlog. Too many building sites don’t say a word while educating us.
Happily I subscribed to a well-done model. I’m too old and poor to buy what is needed. Sure has changed since I was a tyke! Yes 👍 I’ll return.
This is amazing tamaiya is still such a good model company. I just finishes the m41. Starting the m26 persing now. I am excite
Great video and build.
A fantastic work! That silver is really amazing!
This is just piece of ART. Perfect build and even better video. Thanks
Oh man, amazing job! Love this metal finish and postshading gave it even a better look, just can't stop staring at it :D
Great build ! Love the way you give us the brand colors and the thinning ratios , very helpful ! Hope you and your loved ones are well ! Take care, until the next one ! Tony
Your post shade technique and presentation is the go too on the internet.
I'm always amazed by your wonderful modelling and especially painting skills! I learn a lot from your videos and the new ones never stop to amaze me! Thank you for your videos and I wish you stay healthy in these difficult times!
Thank you for this video. It helped solve a problem I’ve been having with gloss coats. I threw a P-61 I was working on in the trash but after this video I dug it out and am correcting the gloss coat errors I made.
Thank for the post-shading trick on metal surfaces!
what I learn with my experience with Allclad is that when you apply the 1st layer you need to start buffing it first lightly for about a min or two. Then add a 2nd layer and repeat the process again. I did this on my MG Gundam Freedom a few years ago just to get a mirror finish. Now I made sure I topcoat the parts quick to protect the shine. I do believe my way would not work with this kit since it has to have a semi dull shine on it. For buffing I used a micro fiber cloth. Amazing work as always.
Brilliant build. I've got the 1/72 version in the stash whilst I'm looking forward to building. Thanks for sharing. John.
Great work a real artist...!!!
What a great video. I really appreciate the graphic showing paint mix / air brush info.
Where as many modellers depict NMF by using different metallic shades, you have succeeded with a post shading technique that requires an extraordinary skill with the airbrush. You have my admiration and applause!
This is one of my favorite planes ever designed the girthiness of it as well as the sleekness just works perfect together
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, one of the best.
Bravo! That was simply amazing! Need to get this model soon.
Very nice build, learning to overcome adversity! Talking about the NMF paint that was available to you, very nice job!
Beautiful! As always! Keep'em coming please.
Wow, excellent job. Your metallic paint job is a great guide, very expert. Thank you.
That was a very excellent build, I may have to get my P-47 back on the bench, well done. I trust you are keep safe and well in these crazy times we are all living in at the moment, Happy Modelling.
Gorgeous as always.
Beatifull work! Congrats!
You sir, are an artist! Well done. Nice Jug!
I always get excited for your new video posts. Excellent job on your jug! I definitely see this model in my future
Hello & Thank You- I find your tutorials and your work to be excellent and of great help- I''m near completion on a Tamiya 1:48 P-47D Bubbletop- using Vallejo acrylic Metal Colors- the new ones with a shaker ball already in paint bottles... I've watched countless demo's on the proper use of these Vallejo Metal Colors- used Vallejo high gloss black metal primer, let rest for 36 hours, (and the model was cleaned prior) applied thin coats at 10 psi, let rest for 48 hours, applied 4 thin coats of Vallejo High Gloss Metal Varnish, thinned properly with Vallejo thinner- and timed for another 48-hours to dry- then used de-tacked Tamiya masking tape to paint nose and tail etc. this paint/primer lifted off in several areas- with minimal pressure on tape- and gently pulled off at 45 degree angle... in a dry climate controlled area: sanded- re-primed and painted- dried and the same. I have to use acrylics (I use excellent Tamiya paints- work great- but Tamiya has no acrylic metal colors fine enough to airbrush per se) due to fumes and can not install a proper spray booth (cannot extend or create an area to vent the filtered fumes)- I'm extremely disappointed with this Vallejo product line. The color and pigment density is excellent- even applying decals- very small ones with a toothpick created scratches. using Tamiya Mark Fit Strong directly atop of Vallejo Metal Varnish and guiding decals with a damp cotton bud was an issue: the decals stick like glue to surface on this varnish. (found that using tap water and then multiple coats on top of decals - much more than usual- worked fine. Possibly you may be able to do a full tutorial on the best acrylic metal colors to use on a metal skinned aircraft and walk us through it- many tens of thousands like me- can not set up paint booths to use the better lacquer paints AK, AMMO, MIG etc.- Thank You! Love your work and tutorials-
*So chrome this P-47, so shinny, so ... marvelous! 👍👏👏👏*
Damn! That even looks heavy.....outstanding paint job 🤙👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Very good work, and very interesting some of the techniques you have used. Greetings.
Ok...I’m getting this kit.!..Thank you for a great video of a excellent build.!👍
Beautiful.
I watch these build videos by masters such as yourself to pick up ideas and techniques for the scale RC models i kit bash to look more like display models, none has been more helpful to me than yours and I’m about to apply several of your techniques to my 1.2m P-47 now
beautiful job
Outstanding work !!!
Amazing build!
Man this kit is kinda perfect🤗
Awesome build!!!
Fabulous build!
Outstanding NMF... Well done. Beautyful Jug
I am starting my first Tamiya p47d bubble top.very useful video. thanks!
Excellent job!
The P-47 is one of my favorite airplanes. Wish Tamiya would do one in 1/32 scale.
Beautiful finish, assembly, and video as always. With regards to the fuselage insignia, they are often cut away because many P-47 models have the intercooler doors displayed open. No defect intended. :)
Thank you but I think you misunderstood the point I mentioned. The insignias are printed the same both are cutted right side of the insignia instead of left and right. ;)
@@Scaleaton misunderstood indeed! Apologies, and great upload all the same.
Loon makes excellent resin pieces for a "C" conversion. Flat belly & nose with just three cowling flaps. I like to do inside and out for canopy, but use the same technique. I use resin tyres. I can't stand 2 piece tyres! After all it is the 21st century. The little center section of the inboard wheel cover is chromed, sometimes the telescopic landing gear would not collapse all the way and the tyres would hang up. Crewchiefs polished up the centerpiece to aid in gear retract & extend. Pit looks good, everything went together easily, no surprise for this kit. The Invasion stripe never lasted on the Turbo exhaust, they would bubble and burn away after the 1st flight. You'd be surprised how many modelers put the antenna wire straight to the mast. Many 47's had the polished look to them, of course quite a few of the 56th F.G. were OD, but by the time of D-Day, polished was not unusual. Beautiful job on the "JUG", she came out looking flight ready. CONGRATS!
Very nice vid, thanks for sharing!
Excellent build video.
You're an artist. It's pleasure to ser your work.
Beautyfull surface résult and weathering on it! 👍🏻 For the red and green wing light, you could fill the space with clear epoxy, and sand/polish it flush with the wings. I think the result would be better than using the clear parts. Waiting for your next builds 😎
Woooow. Another amazing model Rahmi bey. Totally awesome and very informative
What a beauty!
I always thought using chrome over polished aluminium .... and the result is simply awesome! I would only imagine how Sabre would look like :) Excellent work!!
Superb!!
Very nice. The bare metal looks great.
Hi Rahmi! So few materials but such a great result!
Another one of my favorite airplanes. :-)
I bought Tamiya's 1:72nd P-47 Razorback in 2006. It was one of the first Tamiya kits that I saw. I was blown away by the quality of the mould. This 1:48th scale one is equally impressive!
Hi Radu, thank you! This is the last aircraft model of the year. The next model will surprise you. See you on the next video :)
Excellent job.
your builds is lovely mate keep the good modeling you are allways suprise us with yor builds. And congrats for 100k subscribers
Excellent work
Fantastic, well presented video and kit. :)
Very good final effext. And great work with Techmod decals - they are very thin and delicate - and easy to destroy! All the best for You! ;)
Good job! I love it
Beautiful
WHAT a beautiful bird you made
Thank you for taking the time to make this video it is excellent, and thank you for sharing your knowledge. The metallic finish is exceptional, have you had similar success with other metallic paints like Vallejo liquid gold range?
Nice build...congrats.
凄く綺麗!!
This is beautiful. I'm making a similar one. You inspired me with the aluminium painting. The scale is 1:72 though. Thank you and wish you best!
Wonderful.
Phenomenal!
Since War Thunder added the Razorback in the last patch few weeks ago, I'm seeing a lot of modellers building this aircraft, coincidence? :D good work.
Exactly why I’m watching this! The Razorback Jug has always been my favorite prop and now that I’ve got it spaded in War Thunder I’m really hot to build one again.
That's very excellent work dear friend. I like it. I also like the tips you have given.
Superb work sir!
AWESOME 👌
A M A Z I N G !!! 👏👏👏👏
