Please please drop the music. I look forward to watching you developing this wonderful property and land. Hopefully more commentary in the future. All the best. Brian

The Portuguese are just such lovely people. When we lived in the Algarve in the hills behind Alte, we had neighbors that brought us eggs every week, and at holiday times, they would bring candies and homemade cakes.

It's amazing how much brush grows in a fairly short time. Looks much better all cleared. 🙂👍👍🇨🇦

I too , had a not great experience with the music. So, I just turned the volume down ( all the way) anyway, congrats on the new land! Best of luck with all the hard work in your future 🤓

Sorry about that, we give you the reason for the music (my bad language) and how we sort of stumbled into doing these videos in our little update where we introduce ourselves. Thanks

Just an idea, the music is somewhat unnecessary and the late night disco is doing my ears in . The information across screen is annoying. Why not just speak, say what you see, or even allow us to interpret what we are seeing ourselves, I've lived abroad myself and follow many tube channels in Portugal . It's a relief when you speak in videos, my ears love it. Just my opinion ,wish you both a happy future together on your new adventure and look forward to seeing your progress. From an envious brit Carl.

      Hi Carlos
Thanks for the comment, i had to put audio over the first bit as these videos weren't intended to be on youtube, they were really just to show family etc. But i thought i would have a bash at sticking a video together. We don't have microphones etc, and most of the first videos had bad audio and quite a few "choice words", hence the music. When we return to Portugal full time in October or November we will have a bit of better set up for videos. So yes, less music, better audio, better filming, better editing...and maybe I can get used to the sound of my voice, thanks Justin

Interesting but the music is so harsh and unnecessary. A bit more commentary? I appreciate you are just starting your video 'career' but instead of text would it be possible to talk more? I'm afraid we are finding this a bit irritating. I will stay subscribed and hope things improve. Good luck, you are lucky to have such wonderful neighbours.

Thank you Dot, we've not set out to be youtubers, more a way of keeping friends and family informed. The spoken audio is terrible as we didnt have any microphones, hence sticking the music on it to cover up the rude words etc.
Hopefully things will improve when we do the next set of videos when we return to the farm full time In October or November
      Thx

With all the grasses, brambles and low growth of the trees getting some goats is a priority. They clear land faster and better than anything else. You can harness them and tether them out to clear one area at a time if the fencing is not good.
Definately need to hear you guys narrate what you are doing. Music is ok where you are fast forwarding through a task but any real time footage needs to be natural sounds.

Yep, we might do that. I have adressed the music in our latest video where we introduce ourselves....i explain why the music was kinda needed...with my fruity use of language !
