finally a real video, not the typical "how your arm or hand placement should be" which never works cuz everyone is different!
I believe you have to understand the basics concept and the function of the hand placement to develop a form for your body anatomy or shooting that works for you without losing the the basic functions of hand placements.
EVERYONE, I’ve been teaching this for a very long time and it has helped my shooters improve tremendously. If anyone wants proof, hit me up and I’ll share a video for you to watch with one of my athletes when he was in high school. Great video with so much wealth. I’m sure many will sleep on this.

I do thumb flicks but I don't know how to remove it. My fav player is kyrie so I might still keep it.
When u shoot just fully get ur thumb off the ball until your comfortable then start shooting normaly.
I used to have a thumb flick too. I fixed it in about few weeks. All I did was get into my normal shooting form but lift my guide hands fingers which forces the thumb not too interact with the ball.
I can’t afford to buy good drills but I tried putting all the drills into a workout button watching shorts and reels

He contradicts himself multiple times in this video and he’s lying when he says the great shooters don’t have the same form. There forms the same and their hand placement is the same on pretty much every shot they take. Hand placement and wrist location are the most important things when shooting
All of this is a waste of time…. NBA is not surviving past 2026
