My 6 year old daughter caught me watching one of these videos again. I showed here the before and after images, and she asked; "Is this a bike doctor or something?". I think that's a great title for you lads, the bike doctors! Absolutely stunning results as always. Keep showing these bikes the love.
@@brianmcg321 I think the reason people do that is because they have certain standard of how clean a person should be, and if you are not that clean then it is something to be shameful about, which makes sense. They just want maid to clean the dirt, that is just created by being a decent human being, rather than a messy one.
@@thedude3986they're going to clean the bike anyway, is it disrespectful to pay someone to clean your bike? Do you clean your car before taking it to a car wash?
Hey guys, love your videos. I noticed when giving the bolts a final check over, you only tightened tightened the rearward saddle bolt, causing the nose of the saddle to ride upward. I'm really sensitive to saddle tilt, so the owner may have noticed increased pressure from the nose of the saddle. These TCRs have a knurled front saddle bolt, which needs to be tightened in conjunction with the rear to maintain the original level. Giant corrected this, using a hex headed bolt on the 21/22 models thankfully.
Great job, all methodically carried out so nothing gets missed. Money alone cant buy the level of attention to detail shown here. Above and beyond as usual.
Haha it’s been a couple weeks like that for us making them! We’ve had hold up after hold up so it’s good to be getting the videos back out. Glad you could enjoy this one 🧡⚙️
After I've finished this I'm gonna rewind and watch again, just so it makes up for you watching it twice in the viewer numbers! :D (I have found myself going back to older videos from time to time for a nice bit of relaxing mechanics)
Wait a minute, did I see a tire logo over the valve? Obviously this rider is a Bikespeeds subscriber!😊. Welcome back gentlemen and thanks for another great service and detail. That paint color really shines after a proper polish. It’s an amazing transformation. Congratulations on the milestone - 22K subscribers. Awesome
Sorry to burst the bubble, but this is at the lowest level of "attention to detail". It's quite possibly the easiest thing to do. Higher ones include branding orientation of a PressFit BB and chainring bolts.
Lovely to see one of my favorite climbing and most affordable performance road bikes of all time - Giant TCR Advanced completely overhauled. Great job.
Your videos are inspiring me to learn and work on my own bike with a better level of detail down here in Aus. Probably not what you want to hear as a mechanic haha... I would like to see some more commuter/hybrid/flat bar bikes for a bit of variety. Loving it regardless!
Top job Lee, the detailing chosen by the customer on this bike is very satisfying... just to even watch. Definitely pops out.Hope he enjoys his bike & rides again.
Congratulations on the 22k + subs👍That was a really good service to watch and thankyou for taking the time to edit it all together , not forgetting that you have a day job to do as well. I totally agree with you about how a little bit of TLC goes a long way . My winter bike can go from pretty clean to disgusting within a week and the processes you show us on the channel are all part of the joys of bike riding
We get many comments asking how bikes ended up in the state they are but with our weather you’re right that it only takes a few rides for a bike to get “destroyed” they need regular upkeep to be mint all the time. Thanks again for all the support🧡⚙️
7:48 I also have tubeless system and honestly over the years I tried like 5 brands: Parktool's, Stans NoTube, Slime's Pete's and some other 2. All didnt work good, the air leakage was quite big or it simply sprayed out the sealent without clogging the hole. Then I finaly started using Mucoff's tire sealent - and wow what a difference. it seals almost immidietly, Im using my 4th 1 liter bottle and no issues and it seals fully within seconds. so yeah it mey be bit more expensive but its worth every single "grosz"
Great job! Well done on spotting the cracked stem, you might have saved the owner a couple of thousand pounds at the dentist. From my experience this kind of punctures happens, when riding with a too low tire pressure
Great job, as always. Love your love for all small details! I just got a question about your choice of copper slip and grease. I thought grease for all moving parts and copper for non moving. But sometimes you´re not following this rule. For example here at the connection of chain ring and crank. Why? Thanks a lot.
We use copper grease on metal parts. So plastics of carbons like the chain-set wouldn’t benefit from copper slip. We aren’t experts on greases but that’s what works for us! Always appreciate the support Felix🧡⚙️
I always love to watch how you service those bikes, pure love on the bikes, I haven't see any mechanic that put to much details and love on others bike. Wishing you all the best brother. God Bless
Congratulations on the latest mini milestone to you both, the recognition you both deserve, well done. Another great service with attention to detail second to none. 👍🚲

Lol that’s a great story! Thanks to you and your daughter for watching!🧡
Stunning job. It amazes me though that people send bikes to a workshop so dirty. No way would I send my bike in so filthy.
We clean all bikes so it really makes no difference to us. We love a dirty bike because we can film a good video! Thanks for watching🧡⚙️

Wednesday 7pm - cup of tea, biscuit, and a new bikespeeds upload. An oasis of calm in an ever more mad world. Thanks gents 👊
Thanks Allan. We’re glad you still enjoy all the uploads. See you again this Wednesday!🧡⚙️
Every video is pretty much the same,,, but I can’t stop watching them!
Thanks! We try our best to keep them interesting each week🧡
Did it proud, those older steel mtbs are very capable bikes and worth the attention.
OT -900 housing for rear mech. That rear wheel rim looks like it´s worn through the top layer of carbon on the brake surface.
I love watching these videos when I'm on the turbo trainer.
Awesome! Enjoy your sessions 🧡⚙️
What a fantastic difference you made to that sad looking bike 😮😊
Thanks Martin!🧡
Looks brand new
You are a master at your craft, sir! Nice datejust btw! Very fitting for a gentleman :)
Thank you thank you!🧡⚙️
Grand job on that one, rust can never be good.
We were surprised with how well it came off. We were expecting a lot of it to come off but not all of it!🧡

Very kind! Thanks very much for watching and dropping us a nice comment it means a lot 🧡⚙️
woah, the end results are astounding! Goes to show a new bike isnt always the answer ;D just need a good detail!

going to feel like hes riding a brand new bike
great work as always

Totally agree, Lee. It's amazing how much components that look irrecoverable come out shining after a wash.
Fix it till it’s broken 🧡💪🏼⚙️
The bike looks new!
Lovely! That ceramic coat really made it pop.
Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t but in this case it was a real nice final layer 🧡⚙️
What a difference! I would have thought that cassette was ruinied but it looks brand new after you finished.
It’s amazing what degreaser can do. We were also very pleased with how it came up and didn’t expect it either!🧡⚙️
Beauty!..like new, probably better!
Thanks Rod🧡
That is possibly the most relaxing video I have seen in a long time. Cracking transformation!

Best way! Thanks Dean enjoy your riding this week🧡🇫🇮
How about a side by side comparison when the bikes are done?? Love the channel

that frame shine after polishing is outrageous!
Watching the pitch of the saddle change as he torques one of the bolts🫣
That came up beautifully. Fantastic job and have to admit I'm a massive fan of the TCR. Beautiful bike 🎉
