A humongous time saver. I started out cutting, pasting, dragging and dropping individual albums. With 20 gigs of music, it didn’t take me long to realize that this was extremely inefficient. Took 5 extra minutes to watch this video. A few clicks on the screen and bada bing done. Many thanks for the information.
thanks my man! hit that like button and share this video! Happy Holidays!
Download all songs on iPhone fast and simple. 💯

This video saved me from a headache, and let me tell you why:
I spent over an hour downloading and installing iTunes, then registering an apple ID (Android user here) for the SOLE PURPOSE of album art. Why? My new Kia has a Microsoft UVO interface, and I can save music to the navigation. Well... For whatever reason, Windows Media encrypted the album art so that only a few albums showed the images. Apparently, iTunes is better suited for that.
Long story short, a few hours later, and I can't figure out how to "sync" the music to my SanDisk USB (Windows Media simply synced and that was it).
Thank you so much. It's kinda common sense to just copy and paste the iTunes folder... But I was beyond frustrated and pissed off, and I figured I'd Google it... Your video saved me a headache. You're the shit my dude.

Ok. So I get a paid subscription from iTunes, and whatever I've downloaded from iTunes, I can transfer to an external hard drive to play at my convenience, with or without an iTunes subscription.
Correct?
I needed to transfer iTunes music from one computer to another, and this did the trick. Huge help, thanks! Before seeing this I considered downloading software that would have cost $35.

Super informative, thank you. I am transferring music to a USB Flash Drive for the purpose of using the USB Drive with CDJ player and a streamer -- it's my understanding that I should first create a folder on the USB Flash Drive titled "Music", does that sound right to you? Thanks again
Yeah it sounds right I would try it
did you buy all those songs individually or in an album, or did you just download them with the Itunes subscription?
I got most of them from a friend
you got me a little confuse at the beginning with all those back in forward opening different screens but you are awesome, I would suggest to re do the video and make it in 1 2 3 steps so anyone can understand ( specially people like me with limited computer skill. you are the best Now I have all my music in one flash drive. thank you Jamie

Thanks. Yes, I converted them back to MP3 files. A lot of work with 100 gb of music files. I also had to merge both of my iTunes profiles.
+garry Barnes 👍 awesome dude! Glad this worked! Yea that's a lot of music I'm sure it took some time
Try doing it with 325gB !! Apple is being complete BS with MUSIC. If they at least made a new Ipod I'd be golden but mine are all getting oldd and now I'm dealing with a new ride that doesn't like Ipods.....!!!!

Wait I thought was the only one needing help lol. Jeez people still watch this vid.
😁 It still works but I guess it's time for some new videos!🤘
Jamie Wagner yes sir. The video is working that’s why i download movies then transferred to videos. 😊
Hi, thanks for that video, i want to transfer some music to my usb however once i listen to the usb the music is not in some order( i need to look for the tracks). What should i do to put the music on usb in some order please?
you would need to run a program on it to organize them or something, I think you could just use iTunes, I think I did that before.
Hey there. Would it also be possible to transfer music from audacity straight to your flash drive?
Thanks for this Jaime. Subscribed !

I noticed you didn't click and add the folder "Album Artwork". My car's display is capable of displaying the album artwork on the screen, which is nice. Would it be required to add this folder as well to get the artwork to show, or would it show anyway?
Fairly easy for me to understand; I'm not that savvy with these things. So thanks for that.

It's kind of funny. I remember back in 1987 I was listening to the radio and someone was talking how eventually music will be on a chip instead of a CD. Fast Forward to 2018 and I bought a new car. No CD drive in it but a port for a thumb drive. At first I was a bit apprehensive about this new way of storing and listening music but found it to be way more convenient then having a stack of CDs. Technology is amazing!
Yea that’s for sure technology is amazing!

How about my playlist music? How can I transfer those playlists to a usb?
Thank you
Things have changed some since I created this video, so I would have to do a new one
Could I transfer individual files only to ADD TO another computers iTunes library? Do they have to have the folders? not sure I may have duplicate folder names on the add to computer.
Not sure I haven’t tried that yet, I will have to try it first.
this is a great video but the one thing missing is a discussion on the file type. are these stored as MP3's or a special iTUnes file type ? thanks.. B+ video
+Peter Meiwaku I think itunes stores downloads from the itunes store as ACC files but it will work for mp3 format also.
Great instructions, did you ever tried using MusConv for this?
No
Can we have a video in how can we transfer library from old PC to new one with playlist , rating and play counts

Need my jams for my car will this method work?
I have a car fm transmitter, never stored music onto a SD card before.
I noticed that my albums are double folders see one folder it's the name of the artist click on it, there's another folder it's the name of the album, click on that it's the list of the tracks. These types of files won't play will they? How do I correct that? Each track shows m4a is that alright?
What do I need to do, in order for my music to be able to play from the transmitter through my car stereo?
Shame these devices doesn't allow you to connect and store more than one Bluetooth device i.e. mobile phone & iPod 😥
they prbably have to be in MP3 format
Hi I bought my son some NDX900’s we’ve been trying to transfer songs from iTunes to usb we can get them on the usb but they won’t play on the the NDX900’s any ideas ? Some are mp3 some are m4p etc
Check to see what music file types the NDX 900 SUPPORTS first
Hi Jamie can I change them to mp3 anyway ?
i would try it
Thank you, how can I take music from I tunes library to my music or to a flash drive?
+Noel Pelletier if you want to take iTunes music and put on flash drive you're going to have to go into the actual folder where iTunes is storing your music files and then copy and paste them from there over to the flash drive they are stored on your computer itself I believe there in the iTunes media folder
so if I downloaded a CD on my iTunes and I needed to open my iTunes on a different computer I can copy all songs from my CD's to a USB and save them on the new computer so that I can easily put them on my iTunes without having to put in a CD and do it that way? because like what if a CD breaks and you don't want to buy a new one!
+Lauren Anglin yes you could that.
Will this work with movies as well?
Hi are you still subscribed to my channel??
greetings, do you know how to arrange the songs in usb in order that i like it? Everytime I attached it to a music player, it plays randomly
You can right click in the folder and you can choose how you’d like to sort them by item by date etc.
Thanks for sharing. Clear and detailed

My question is that my 80GB iPod Classic sadly died due to a corrupt hard drive. My Windows operating system is Windows Vista and it has roughly around 11,000 songs on my iTunes which equals around 46GB of music. If I buy a 64GB USB flash drive, would all of my music files safely transfer over? And do I copy and paste ALL of the files in my iTunes folder? (album artwork, etc.). My next question is that when I transfer my files to a new computer, would I trust all of my music files to be on there successfully? Over the years I've downloaded numerous songs, added songs from my CD collection, and purchased music on iTunes. Let me know when you can! Thanks!
+Donovan Hughes yes that flash drive should be big enough for the music. Yea I would copy the entire iTunes folder over. You will still need install iTunes on the new computer and it's going to want to search for all music on your new system so it should find everything you copy over. Sometimes it tricky to do.
+Donovan Hughes if you purchased music in iTunes then it's always going to be in your account for you to download to any computer.
I followed everything like you said but I only have 13 songs in that folder compared to the 200 I have total in iTunes. I've looked in all the folders. Do you know anywhere else they may be?
sounds like they are in the itunes media folder check there or check in the purchases folder
@@jamiewagner I found what happened. The majority of my songs on itunes are from another source, such as CDs and other media sources that I've added to my iTunes library. Apparently when I added them to my library the box to add them to that itunes media folder was not checked. So the only songs that were there are the ones I actually pur hased through itunes. Thanks for your help.
that's exactly it, I had the same issue before. thanks for commenting back

good.... can i copy itunes playlists to usb on mac? googled n found the iskysoft imusic seems works...
+Carl Williams I think so I haven't tried to copy the playlist
I use Windows 7 and have a small hard disk (100G) therefore the music files (10G) was too large for the laptop. I transferred all my music to a USB stick but cannot get iTunes to "read" from the USB even though I have changed the file location in iTunes to the USB stick.. I found the demo using Windows 10 a bit confusing (i.e., name of files/folders). But generally the presentation is very comprehensive.
yep I know
Nice Video Tutorial, Thanks
very clear visiable explaination
Thanks
Is it possible to copy only those songs which are in my playlist to a usb pen drive?
+combatshadowz I believe so, I have not tried that yet. I would have to try it first to see if it works.
this helpz, you have a good taste n muzik
Very good then thanks!✌🏻
Great video! My question, a stupid one I'm sure, is that I want to be able to copy my itunes music to a memory stick so that I can play them in my car or through my stereo. Since the itunes file type is not MP3 I guess that I cannot do that?
thanks again
+rdvideoclips that's not a dumb question. I think you can do that somehow. I think you just need a compatible car stereo for ACC files or mp3s which ever your trying to play. You can also convert them to make them work but hat will take time to do.
What do i need to convert them too to play them on an average stereo, i mean just a stereo that picks up on the usb alone, i know how to convert files and what not but how do i make itunes music compatible to a radio, it should be able to run mp3/mp4 if not better i dont follow music so i need the run down....
Great video. Thank you!

can i make playlists and copy to usb? thanks
I believe so
How can I transfer a play list only to the flash drive?
The one specific thing i came here for was to figure out how to get iTunes to store the Media Library on a different drive that's NOT the C drive or the Windows System Drive. I realized this after I installed iTunes and was sync downloading all my media from the cloud, i soon realized was out of space on drive.
I hate running out of space
i can't seem to be able to paste the files that i copied, i'm working on an apple computer though, does it not work on an apple, do i have to do it any differently?
It should be just copy and paste on an apple computer
Good music got great taste

OK I got it thank you, good work Jamie...thank you!
+Noel Pelletier that's great thank you please click the like button and share this video on Facebook or Google+ for me have a good one
Jamie, i have a free 3 month apple music subscription about to expire. Then it will cost $10 month. I have 600 free songs in itunes and ipod touch. 1st question, if i stop the subscription will i lose all 600 songs? 2nd question, i simply want these songs, which i have in itunes and ipod touch and ipad....i need these songs to play in my car. 2017 subaru...how can i stop this subscription and keep these songs for the car? What are my options
no you shouldn't lose 600 free songs if the subscription expires, you have to find out what your car is compatible with I mean the stereo so you know what kind of music files it will play, then you can copy them over to a usb drive and plug into your car if it's compatiable if its 2017 it most likely is
When I go to my iTunes folder in my c;drive I dont see a lot of my newer added music. Any idea why?
It’s probably in the media folder
Will this work for my micro sad card if I wanna transfer song to my Microsd for my android phone.
it should work
Can movies from iTunes be downloaded in other language to computer and add it to USB?
Maybe I never tried that
Will you try?
See you have the same thing that was freakin me out with mine. Not all the music shows up in the itunes folder but its still apparently in there. Like your first thing in your library is AC/DC but i didnt see it when you opened the files.

My iTunes program does not have the drop down button in order to copy music to a USB Flash Drive. Is there another way?
You could go in manually and do it. That way is easier.
I hate to admit it but I have no idea how to do it manually and it would probably be time consuming since I am talking about 7800 songs. I have a 128GB stick.
The problem i have is
I copied a music from my pc and pasted in my drive
And all the process goes well.
After that.
I inserted the drive i have into a music player
Or a bluetooth speaker with a USB plug in.
Then it wont play anything
What should i do? Pls help
probably becuase it's not in mp3 format
Already solved and yeah it is the problem thankyou btw
👍
When I try to convert iTunes music to MP3 it says it can’t convert because it’s protected? Can you plz help me I want to download the iTunes musics on my USB so I can listen in my car

Not sure I haven’t used this in a while and I know they have updated it several times
