Tony Martin era was one of the best and definitely under rated.
I agree.
I love Sabbath with Tony Martin!
Maybe sometimes you can't see in your band what work's well and great to pull off DIO ,AND OZZY AND STILL BE YOURSELF TONY MARTIN WELL DONE.

Tony Martin is amazing in live!!! He sounds so great!!!!
I think Tony Martin is the best Sabbath vocalist. He is true class. Not a clown not a poser. And God knows he could sing!
Most ridiculous comment I read so far....TM isn't Sabbath, he can't sing Dio or Ozzys songs i think he is awful 😂
Tony Martin was indeed a good vocalist for Black Sabbath.
Perfect setlist, I only miss Anno Mundi.
Agreed, I would sub out Neon Knights and put Anno Mundi in its place
I remember this tour and went on the UK leg. Also saw Ozzy the same week at the same venue, and Black Sabbath blew him away. They really cranked up the speakers on this opening track. I'd never heard them open with Children of the Grave before. I saw a lot of shows with Tony Martin from his first tour in 89 up to his last with them, and he definitely grew into the role well by the end. I was glad to see Ozzy/Geezer/Bill back and also Dio back for a 3rd time but I 'd never dismiss the Martin era, there were some great songs and performances.
They opened with Children Of The Grave when Ian Gillan was on Sabbath, in 83, on Born Again Tour
@@aIanzin I just remember it sounded so heavy, a lot heavier than any of the previous tours I'd seen. It was an odd week. I saw the Human League on I think their Octopus tour, followed by Black Sabbath, and finished with Ozzy in the same week. Which was best?
@@thecomputingchronicles to me, Sabbath have a best lineup for that time. The setlist is better than the Ozzy on Ozzmosis tour with Joe.
@@aIanzin Only downside was I saw the show in November of 95 and by that point, Rondinelli had come in for Cozy. It would have been great to see Cozy live one last time with them.
@@aIanzin I do recall saying to my gig-going friend after the Ozzy show that I thought he'd been quite poor and perhaps we wouldn't see him again but when he got back with Tony, Bill, and Geezer two years later of course we did.
I saw the band on that tour. I was too young to fully appreciate it, but this iteration of the band is incredibly tight. Missing the swing that Geezer and Bill gave the band, but this line up hits like a truck. So tight and heavy.
I saw Black Sabbath the year before this (Feb 1994) on the Cross Purposes tour at the State theater in Detroit Michigan with the Iommi, Butler, Martin, Rodinelli line-up. This 1995 line-up looks & sounds great also since the only difference is Neil Murray playing bass instead of geezer. I did see Black Sabbath (Heaven & Hell) one last time in 2007 with the Iommi-Dio-Butler-Appice line-up in London, Ontario Canada. Even though Dio is my favorite singer that they ever had, when I saw them in 2007 it was in a huge hockey arena and I was on the completely opposite end of the building from the stage. And down in the middle of the floor there were tons of technicians and equipment between me and the stage, and it felt like I was watching the band from about 4 blocks away.
I much preferred the 1994 Cross Purposes tour I saw them at in Detroit, in a very small hall type place, bare-bones stage setup. It was about 100 times louder than when I saw them in 2007 in the huge hockey arena, and you could see the entire band perfectly. If Tony Iommi ever does do some kind of limited tour again with Tony Martin singing; I would gladly go see them again. (Hopefully in a smaller, better sounding concert hall again as well).
I like the Cross Purpose album a lot and I don't really like the other Martin albums so much but that one was fantastic. Why couldn't he sound that good on the earlier albums I don't get it.
@@paulmerritt8593 What are you talking about? Eternal Idol and Headless Cross blow that one away!
@@husq48opinions are different 😂
Nice performance on Kiss of Death (21:28)
Love that song. One of Sabbath's best, by far.
The best track on Forbidden album...
Kiss of death remenber the sign of the southern cross...AWESOME
Tour de force! Great performance by all, especially Tony Martin! \,,/, ,\,,/
Muito bom ver o quanto o público gostou de The Shining. Queria muito o Black Sabbath de volta, mas com Tony Martin.

I saw Black Sabbath on this very tour, in Tampere, Finland. This brings back a lot of memories! Whether this line-up is really "Black Sabbath" is debatable, but man they can play!
Tony Martin is awesome. As always.
Tony Iommi is a humble guy. But Tony Iommi is (almost) to Black Sabbath as Dave Mustaine is to Megadeth. Except for the lyrics. Then it's a matter of taste, regarding the voice.
HeathenDance interesting perspective
Since the beast that is Sabbath was born from EARTH (see what I did there?), it is Sabbath as long as the Master is operating the left Hand of Doom upon SG shaped guitars on stage.
Iommi has always been Sabbath whether it's Ozzy, Dio, Martin or even Ian Gillan
Iommi is Sabbath to me
Thanks for the upload!
Great quality !! I saw them on the same tour in Stockholm. Thank you for the upload brings back some memories.
tank you very much my friend!!
Bobby Rondinelli give to The Shining an incredible touch
Tomy iomi and martin was so gud combination
That's a very good live... Great vibe and superb audience toward the band! The set is nice and illustrate Sabbath versatile style.
Thank you for great upload
Rusty Angels (35:00): top 10 Sabbath song of all time. What a magnificent collection of riffs.
Gotta give Rondinelli big props for his perfect meter and solid slamming in Sabbath, and to Murray for his classy bass style during this interesting and very cool period in the band's history \,,/, ,\,,/
What an awesome live band!!! Stupendous. Gorgeous songs, thunderously played.
The new instrumental section / solo before the speed-up in Heaven and Hell is awesome. What a band and line-up this was!
are you talking about around 1:34:38 ? Tony (almost) quotes a little Stravinsky there
FANTASTIC! I saw them on this tour in Warsaw, Poland (Tiamat was their support). And then my perception of Sabbath was magically changed FOREVER!
\m/
Killer show!
So great tour ! Really good era !
This is so Well played and Martin is awesome.
Nice example that no matter who Tony Iommi was working with in the confines of Sabbath, it was always the BEST band around! Hell, he could have been on stage with 3 mop handles and still blown everyone else off the planet! True story!
Really good stuff for a single camera, ambient mic recording.
Really great show
Killer set!!....cutt'n right to the chase with Children of the Grave!
Porra Kiss Of Death, eu gosto dessa música pra caralho.
Tony Martin-era was cool!
Excellent concert and sound quality. Would be nice if Iommi were able to take a great concert like this, clean it up where necessary and release it with the Forbidden remix, a deluxe album.
Drumer is also great
Great crowd
Kiss of death. Wooowwww
Tony Martin's exhausted singing still sounds better then Ozzy at his low's. Still a good show
Qué chingona etapa con Tony Martin
Hey was there!!
really cool./
This is no ordinary soul ...
Great phase
21:18 Kiss of death
🤘🤘🤘
Yes Tony was a brilliant vocalist for Sabbath ,unfortunately it's a Sabbath era that gets swept under the carpet .no disrespect to Ozzy but he couldn't sing the songs from the Dio years or the Tony Martin years.
Ozzy can't sing the songs from the Ozzy era.......
@@harrybryan9633 very true
I really think Rusty Angels is a true lost gem.
Someone should take this video and overdub the FM broadcast from this show of the songs that exist.
There is no FM from Gothenburg, the FM was recorded at the Karlshamn Rock Festival in June on the same tour. I was there :)
@@tolvis77 My bad. Bands hardly ever play the same places on the same tours nowadays for sure... I've had that FM show on cassette from WAY back in the day. One of my favorite tapes from the Martin era for sure. Pity it didn't last longer.
1995 Tony martin last tour !Tony martin No.1vocal!
All respect to the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy, but Tony Martin always pushed the envelope daring to sing songs like Sabbath Bloody Sabbath or Symptom of the Universe, plus Dio and his own material. I only sae Sabbath once and it was great, but at some I was aware of Ozzy's voice limitations, and what makes Martin's work in these tours more impressive is that his voice wasn't the best.
It's Murray on bass and Bobby on drums . Not my favorite version of sabs but good version of course. Ozzy , Dio ,then Martin . My opinion .
I wonder who's the bass player. Is it Neil Murray? Because if it is, there's a big possibility that it's Cozy Powell on the drums.
Ingo Hoffmann Neil on bass. Bobby Rondinelli on drums. Cozy left this tour early, but he is playing on the video on my channel from Karlshamn in June 1995.
Maybe sometimes you can't see in your band what work's well and great to pull off DIO ,AND OZZY and still be yourself. We don't know what go's on behind the scene .It could have been a personal thing with in the band that did not keep him in the band. Never the less TONY MARTIN WELL DONE. Check out U TUBE BLACK SABBATH PIZZA STORY ,that me playing and story I think you will like it.
Did crowd deserve an encore?
Cozy on drums here?
Nope Bobby Rondinelli. Cozy played the summer tour only.
@@tolvis77 Yes, now just seen him.
Yes it's Cozy he decided to wear a long black curly wig & change his drumming style to be like Bobby Rondinelli
who's on the drum???? bobby????

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath live? Are you kidding me
Tony Martin can't sing his own choruses live. *SHAME!*
No puedes tirar el centro y entrar a cabecear tu mismo....
So high. He still a powerful voice without doubt
