Finally hang on means to continue despite difficult tips . Keep your chin up means to maintain confidence and optimism. There no time like present means you are suggesting someone that they should do something now not later in Arabic we have similar proverb don’t delay work of today till tomorrow. To be cloud 9 means state of bliss in slang state of perfect happiness. To turn over new leaf means you are going to start to be have in better or more acceptable way . To have new lease of life means fresh start or renewed vigor , good health. Iam so sorry to be little long but reading and writing both are great ways to improve our English as none native speakers. We apply these idioms too in the USA. The most important one is 'light at the end of the tunnel'. I lost my job and had to get a new one right away. I finally got one and the tunnel felt like a very long time but in reality it was only a month difference. It is a very good feeling at the end of the tunnel.

How are you doing mrs Katherine . Iam Arabic lady subscriber to several British and American UA-cam channels. We appreciate your great efforts as foreigners subscribers as overseas students want to increase our cultural level and improve our English language as well. In the past only travel aboard or looking for books to learn new information. Nowadays UA-cam channels as open universities for every one google is our library. I looked up for meaning of idioms you mentioned briefly here it’s every clouds has sliver linging means every sad or unpleasant situation has positive side . When door closes another open Alexander Graham bell made famous announcement May ovary optimistic but there are scientists who originally failed in their endeavors only learn from their mistakes and move forward. When life gives lemon make lemonade it’s proverbial pharse used to encourage optimism and positive can do attitude in face of adversity or misfortune. There light at end of tunnel means sign of improvement in situation that has been bad or difficult piece of work is almost finished.
