Don't be put off using it, because it's a phrase that combines friendliness and politeness very well - and if there's a long gap since you last saw someone, or if the second meeting is unexpected, you can say "nice to meet you again". I'm also not convinced there's much wrong with 14 and 15. They are capable of sounding odd, but with the right tone of voice, they're also capable of sounding right. The others I agree with - especially 3 which foreign learners often get wrong, and native speakers never would. Hope that's helpful!

I'm adding 2 more mistakes: * Mistake nº 21 - In Brazil when we are in a bar and we want one more beer, we say "Mais uma", so in English the correct way is "One more" and not "More one". * Mistake nº 22 - We use in portuguese language the verb "TER" (to have) when we want to speak the existence of things, for example: "Tem uma TV na sala de estar", in English the correct way is "There is a TV in the living room" and not "Have a TV in the living room".
These little tiny differences in English and my mother languages are really not obvious and could be fixed naturally by immense quantity of listening hours from lots of various sources or by spending 13 minutes on such wonderful video of one adorable girl.
