He whined a good bit, he was angry, had father issues, hid his faults by acting upbeat, and got frustrated often. Yet despite all of that, he was kind, adorable at times, did his best to help, and saved the world knowing he'd be erased at he end.

He's a rare breed. You never see characters written like him anymore as most people don't have the patience for a character *arc*. Unfortunately, we end up with a lot of Lightning type characters- no growth, no change, and the plot happens around them in such a way that people are fooled into thinking they have a personality.

Ironically, for all of them pretty much, they wear more and more clothes. Their base clothings are the most revealing. Even the Thief costume for Paine and Yuna are very modest compared to Rikku's.

Am I the only one who actually likes Tidus? Imo he takes all the BS he goes through like a champ, sure he whines, but when the need comes, he goes for it. Underrated character.
I loved him. X is my favorite of the games.
He's a good character. It was just his voice acting that started feeling relatively annoying after a while , the laugh point being a prime example of it.
I have no problems with tidus whatsoever. Even his voice actor does a good job.

The laughing scene is actually really cute in context. She encourages him to laugh at his problems, leading to him being ridiculous on purpose, and then she joins in, and then they start actually laughing at how ridiculous they're being.

I'm furious. How dare you guys not know that the sphere grid is not relevant for Kimahri's battle with Biran and Yenke! Their stats are scaled relative to Kimahri's :P That being said, I'm just messing around, this was hilarious! Seeing that boy grow up to be a Blitzball was one of the best FFX-related things I have seen in years, wonderful job on this! I was kinda hoping for some "pyreflies" jokes too :P Looking forward to FFX-2, I think Wakka's VA in this did a better job than John DiMaggio did in that game :D

Dude had his moments in my 1st hours, but damn did he need more moves, Auron and Wakka already had his spot taken. Rikku took a lot more just to get by, I remember my 1st Ronsos battle, yep, Kimari needed help.
The developers had to expect this because look at how weak and underpowered Biran and Yenke were lol.

I always wondered about the whole "sending the dead" thing. It seems to be part of the Yevon religion, but the rest of Yevon is a complete lie. So how important is sending, really? Does it predate Yevon? And in X-2, doesn't Yuna send Shuyin even though they're already in the Farplane?
@@Sayrden I think its more of a your soul just needs someone to point you in the right direction, i dont think it has anything to do with yevon or religion. I think its just what happens next in the world of spira. The religion just used it as there basis.

Who would win in a fight todus vs lighting i feel like lighting bc she has more experience but tidus with evade and counter plus side of his figts were with stronger enemies
@@tysonsilvers4903 Hard to figure; unequal combat engines. For one thing, Lightning can hit six digits when she breaks damage limit; Tidus only five. For another, hers is a rather fast-paced active battle engine, while Tidus is sitting on a turn-based one. E&C is, of course, extremely good - against anything that can BE evaded. I don't remember her full move repertoire, but am sure Lightning has stuff you can't dodge.
So, because Squenix likes to reinvent the wheel and keep things fresh, we really have no proper way to compare them. Lightning has the edge here becuase her game's combat engine is geared for faster, higher-damage fighting.
THAT said, she is a professional soldier, and he is a professional athlete. She probably does have an edge in combat just for that. Assuming military training counts for anything in a fantasy setting where imaginary sportsmen can beat up space whales.

Interesting thing about the Khimari vs Biran and Yenke fight, their stats are actually scaled to yours so whether you play with him as one of your mains, or never bring him out a single time, you can still win that fight with roughly similar difficulty.
I would love to hack the game and get Kimhari to max stats with full power Spirit Lance and see how difficult the fight would be.
@@blastortoise probably almost impossible. Since their stats scale to yours as a percentage formula, khimari would go first, kill one of them, and then they would one shot him back. Only way to win it would be to open with an attack which one shots both of them.

I like khimari design but TBH i never really use him in ffx i try to keep him nowadays with auron's sphere grid as a replacement for auron
@@tysonsilvers4903 Khimari is the jack of all trades that can kind of do everything, but not as good as the others at that role. As such he kind of falls away into useless since you never need to call on him when there is someone else that can do it better.
TBH I was expecting Yuna to do the default fortnite dance. I'm glad she didn't.

First time I played the game up to that part i totally forgot to use him as a character in battle.
I think it's because a lot of players don't really know what direction to take Kimahri in, since he's pretty much designed to be a wildcard. His starting position at the center of the sphere grid means he can go in literally any direction.
I tend to send him down Rikku's path, then unlock the back end of Yuna's and have him pick up high-level white magic.
@@mr.battle20 True dat. He’s designed to function as a blue mage/mime, hence can take upon as a copycat.
I also had him upon Rikku’s path to gain Use & Steal skills early within the game, but teleport him to Aaron’s path since him & Aaron mainly have piercing weapons
I used khimarhi too much I regret not putting more into rikku since she made the yunalesca fight a breeze
His sphere grid is hard since he takes up everyone else's stuff. But since last year I almost maxed out Yuna and she's been so freakishly broken with or without aeons! 🤣

@Luminous F yeah I've never understood why they made her magic power weaker since she is the black mage who is supposed to attack with her magic.
Kimahri was my main man. Got the first ultimate weapon for him and maxed out the grid, with haste and all that, he gets like 5 to 7 99,999 quick hits before anyone else gets to go even the last secret Weapon boss.
Kimahri was in my party most of the game. The sphere grid system I did understand it but it was way to big to level up characters. Especially the empty slots you could add your own spheres

You stand with your ragtag team of a man from Zanarkand, the daughter of the High Summoner, a blitzer, a black mage, A man who walked this road 10 years ago, A Ronso who has been shamed, and an Al-Bhed who saved you in the past.
You've seen the journey this far, and now wish to see it to the end of the line. This is where all summoners go to create their last beacon of light, and become legend. What will happen to you if Yuna does get the last Aeon? Where will you go, seeing the city you once called home is naught but ruins? Will you wander the world in search of purpose, like Auron once did? or will you find a way to defeat Sin, and make sure it won’t haunt anyone again?
The only road left to take will be brutal.
It is the unforgiving road.
It is the road of A Fleeting Dream.
The road... to Zanarkand.
Genuinely beautiful. You know the CG opening to FFIII on the DS? A scene of the same quality based on your prose here would end up ten times as good.
