- Hello everyone and welcome to a BETTER Setsuka Combo Guide! In this video I will be showing you some good Setsuka combos (reaching up to 97-100 damage) in Soul Calibur VI! I will show you some combos that are perfect for each situation and will teach you a way to end your combos for mixes instead of maximizes the damage. for the new setsuka players here i would just like to say that... ideally you should NOT be doing the 3b+k, b or the 4a+b(umbrella move). you should be doing the dragon punch version of the moves instead. by doing the easier user friendly version of the moves you do lose your soul charge/gauge where if you do the dragon punch/rdp 2143aB or 2363b,b you do gain soul gauge instead. just as a pointer.

These combos are great. Perhaps maybe if you set the dummy to ukemi in specific directions just to be sure that these combos are guaranteed and that they work every time you attempt to do them.

I feel like people are forgetting the sakura twist but that could be because nobody rlly know the alt command for it (due to it overlapping with shade buster).
If that is the 2362aB move then yeah. That move is amazing.
I know its simple when you get used to it but ive just had issues getting used to understanding the whole 1-9 thing

Maybe I'm not understanding something, but I find the input notations confusing with the / marks. It seems sometimes it splits the direction and the commands, which leads to me not understanding at what point I'm supposed to input the directions and the buttons.
oh sorry man, that's how ive always done them. The / marks are to divide separate strings and special moves, so you wont think they are more than one string

Isn't it better to set the dummy to some sort of Ukemi? I found a bunch of my combos couldn't be finished if the opponent simply got up or rolled away. I've been changing things up to allow for better oki options.

@@InfernoPaternal no no! It's all good. I did the same thing and in doing so I found some interesting setups, in part by following your example. But I also found that in real matches I lost a lot of what I was trying to do and usually paid the price. She's so hard to be good with, it's almost demoralizing, h-heh...
So anyone know what is setsuka's best ukemi trap move? Cause alot of combos ive seen are ukemiable.
@Africa your input for twister is just the umbrella bash from 2p side which is ukemiable so i dont know what you mean by this
@Africa I actually just stumbled onto how her wave dashes are able to do all her 8 way run moves in training earlier so now I understand what you meant by the 2362 input. But cant they still ukemi that? Or is that the only form of twister they cant ukemi. Its too late for me to test it. I'll test it in the morning if anything.
