  • NEW COMBO GUIDE just for you! Here are some pretty nice Hwoarang combos. Not going to lie, I feel as though many of his combos are quite difficult to pull off. Especially the ones where you switch stances mid combos or have to use precise timings with the specific string. Although his combos prove to be quite difficult, this character is an absolute blast to play. And with these combos you will at least have a base knowledge of what can connect and how you can maximize your damage off of punishes and more. WANT MORE? Leave a like or subscribe, and stay tuned.

    TIP FOR EVERYONE struggling with the ender : 3+4 (motion switch) into f+3 -> 4~3 (tyaaaa!) AFTER the tornado -> dash or even RUN up as usual BUT input the motion switch 3+4 as back+3+4 you can run up as deep as you could in tekken 7 , without getting the stupid running animation or without getting the awkward step forward after you did 3+4. (i copy paste this under every hwoarang combo video i find, just in case)

      Yeah exactly, there was no good guide with the current build, only stuff from the beta / demo where everyone was abusing d4, 4 which is not working anymore

    For anyone having trouble with the FF 3+4 [3,4] FF BU3 don’t feel too bad, it’s not an easy timing. Make sure you set one of your button bindings for 3+4. Don’t do the quick input until his left foot is his back foot, if you do the quick input while the stance is still changing the game will read it as another stance change and the attack won’t come out. And the dash into BU3 has to be a little deep.

      if you don't have an extra button for binding, during the last animation of your combo before the dash switch to backlash, hold 4, then dash then just press 3 then do the backlash

      Both of your tips helped tremendously I can now perform that combo with pretty high consistency. I remaped 3+4 to L1 since I don't use the specialty moves. It's so nice to see a community of knowledgeable players who actually want other people to improve too, so they share all this useful information publicly

    I really like your video on this, i also use alot of u3 in my combo, im looking for a better one to do while standing
    my favorite combo at the moment is :
    b3, u3, uf4, u3, [4,3]
    And for 80 dmg with a 18 frame starter in 3+4 stance:
    f4,4, [3,4], dash, 4,4,4,4, dash, u3, [4,3]
    Or the same things with a 14 frame starter but backturned or 1+2 stance:
    4, [3,4], dash, 4,4,4,4, dash, u3, [4,3]

    Thank-you for this detailed guide, its very helpful only problem is i can't seem to connect the 3,4 fast input (double flying kick move) to continue the combo. No matter how quick i enter it, it's too late. Also, i can't do the FF4 after b3. It doesn't go into the heat activation version. If you can help, that would be amazing as I'm getting extremely frustrated.

    • @InfernoPaternal
      @InfernoPaternal  5 місяців тому +1

      For sure, I can provide some tips that helped me. Now the 3,4 fast input is INCREDIBLY hard at first to get the timing down, especially in a combo. Try just hitting it not in a combo, just do the 3+4 then straight into 3 then 3. Make sure you lift your fingers off of the 3 and 4 button for a split second before pressing the 3 then 4. It’s kinda specific. One other thing I had to do was not use my controller bind for 3+4 which was my right trigger. I had to actually press 3+4 buttons then 3,4 for it to work. And for the FF4 then into the heat dash activation, it’s kinda akward timing as well but you’re going to want to try dashing or pressing forward forward as SOON as that move hits or even as soon as right after you press the 4 button. Hope these tips help

    do you switch LFF and RFF with 3+4 or did you bind that to a button ... because i find is relly hard to do 3+4 and then [3 - 4]

    Nice guide, but I miss more starters, no only b3 or skyrocket but something in counterhit with b4 and for low parry.
    In tekken 7 I used to enchain a combo with backlash, df 4, df 4 etc. But it's difficult in Tekken 8, seems like I only can start with b3 or a launcher.

    Hi great video !, when the combo says (stance) what should i do ? Thank you

    • @InfernoPaternal
      @InfernoPaternal  5 місяців тому

      Thank you, and when the combo says stance that’s just me letting you know that you’re in a stance after pressing the buttons before when it says (stance). So you don’t have to do anything extra when it says (stance), it’s more of me just explaining to you what’s going on in the combo. For example: using pressing F4 then F puts you in a stance, and while in the stance you can use other specific moves for combos

    i keep dropping the last 4 on the first combo, am i just not fast enough on the last 4 of the quad 4 string?

    • @InfernoPaternal
      @InfernoPaternal  5 місяців тому +1

      You may not be running close enough to them when starting the 4 4 4 4. You’ve got to run real close before starting the 4 4 4 4 string, it should all connect if distance is right. Timing is a bit difficult at first

  • @aboveaveragecodplayer5849

    What do you mean by hold f on 0:42 because I’m trying to but can’t do the the u/f 4 to chain into the u/f 343

    • @InfernoPaternal
      @InfernoPaternal  5 місяців тому +1

      By hold f I meant hold the forward direction after pressing u/f 3+4, by holding the forward direction during the move it allows you to transition into one of his stances. From that stance you can press u/f 4 and it’ll be a pop up for the rest of the combo (u/f 3 4 3)

    I've tried so many times to land the 4444 after ff at 0:21 but the I can never land the 4444 while opponent is still in the air. I do the FF as fast as I can but they always land before I can 4444.
    How on earth do you do that?

    • @ThePrinceOfDubai

    What helps a lot is mapping 3-4 on the controller as R3 or RT and then slide your fingers across the actual 3-4 buttons
    So in actuality
    3-4 switch stance (RT or R3 button)
    3-4 attack (slide buttons after stance)

    another for b3 for 92 damage: b3 f2 f3 f2 f3 (LFS) uf3+4f (LFS) uf4 3+4 (stance switch) 3~4 (backslash) dash activated heat 3+4 (stance switch) f3 (LFS) f3f (heat dash) f n df 3

      @InfernoPaternal  5 місяців тому +2

      If you’re talking about the switch stance 3+4 then pressing 3 then 4 really fast, definitely the hardest move to input in this whole guide in my opinion. You have to press both 3 and 4 at the same time then very quickly after words lift your fingers off of both buttons then press 3 then 4. That’s why I mentioned towards the end that it’s honestly such a hard move that I don’t even use it in my combos in real matches because I tend to drop it a bunch. Takes a lot of practice
