I worked since the release of this character to find and select the best combo to use! I hope you will enjoy my Combo Guide! There will be a second part with Situational Combos where Hwang can excel at because of his Life Force management mechanic!

After getting bodied by you yesterday I just came here again to tell you that your Hwang is as impressive ingame as in this video. Also thanks for rematching a lot, I'm kinda tired of people who only play one game and leave tbh.
Hey man thanks you for the kind words!
The matchs were really interesting to play, you have a clean a good Neutral, you can become much more stronger if you optimize your offense but mostly your defense / whiff punish on character that you're not too familiar yet.
I had to stop at some point yesterday cause I had to cook the dinner lol Add me on steam friends, It would be great to replay against you on casuals! Keep the good work!
Hey merci! On apprend de nouvelles choses!
@@HayateEIN Ps: cest Yota.
Amazing video. Thank you!!!
That Strider look was badass. Nicely done.
Credits to RonTheTryHard, you have his video to make it here ! ua-cam.com/video/91uA1KwXtcc/v-deo.html
I'm really glad you got to make such a well presented video of the combos I helped compile. I'm sure this will help plenty of people who prefer learning through gameplay rather than just reading text!
Thanks you again for your precise work on combo documents!
Hello, i have a question regarding Hwang, i know this comment is old, but if you read this maybe you can help me with something
@@JaffarWolf Sure, what would that be?
@@zollith4768 Hello, thank you for answering regardless all the time thas has passed. Fortunately, i got in the discord server of Hwang and my question got answered :D I had a problem with a lethal hit that Hwang can do after a Guard impact, regardless i was doing the move correctly, never worked for me, so i believed that maybe that lethal got nerfed or something, but fortunately the lethal is still there, and now i can do it, plus, the lethal is meant to be done with ''bK'' but there is a bug, after a GI, if you keep holding K and after that you press B, Hwang will perform the kick the 100% of the times, making the lethal hit more easy
This was very insightful thanks a bunch. Keep up the good work.
Very nice guide. Thank you
I needed this guide
Dope as always! 👍
Hey thanks man!! That was the passion!
Great video!
Hayate-sensei doing what he does best once more. Amazing work!
I can't get enough with those costumes. They look so good. I think I need to start copying some of them now 😅
Hey thanks a lot Shiro for the kind words!
Spoiler: How to Dress Hwang Part2 incoming
@@HayateEIN I'm so excited for this. I would really love to copy them ASAP, haha!
@@XiaoGege You can find the Young Zeku CAS in RonTheTryHard channel, I will be adding the other on some videos, but I will probably priorize the SoulBlade P3/P1 + Assassin to finish the classic outfits stuff. Maybe a I should also do a Cosplay Video with Protoss Outfit, Gan Ning etc...
Thanks for making this video. Its helping me understand him better.
Also if you don't mind, I might be copying that Strider CaS.
You can find the CAS here on RonTheTryHard channel : ua-cam.com/video/91uA1KwXtcc/v-deo.html !
(and it's Zeku in young form, the rumored first strider!)

Hey thank you a lot for the review!
lol I will try to make it faster, but I'am too perfectionist on thoses videos...
@@HayateEIN lol take your time!
Good job!
So good!
Thanks for the kind word again Yoshi!
Nice video 👍
Thank you! I hope you're doing fine!
Good stuff 👊
Thanks cupui!
First of all, awesome video, and very informative!! Second, in 5:47, Is that lethal hit (the kick) still working to the date? I cant make it work
like I said in my other message you need to be +1 on talisman or above to make it work
@@HayateEIN Thank you for your answer Hayate, i didnt know that! Also i learned that if after the GI you hold K and later you press B, the kick works the 100% of the times despite is not the correct command (The correct command is bK)
I would really hate to bother you with this but any chance you could do a small tutorial on that mitsu costume, also great videos as always shisho Hayate!
I can share you the screenshots for this one cause I don't think I'am gonna make a video for Mitsurugi alone on that channel, try reaching me on my Discord
@@HayateEIN thank you king will do
How did u make the striker hiryu's outfit @.@?
Hey there, Hayate. I'm having issues with Hwangs AB slide. Can it be done solo or does it have to be done with precise timing after a cancellable action? It seems like the only time I can get it to work is mid combo and I'm struggling to do it out of a run cancel.
Hello! Slide inputs can't be buffered like normal input so it's generally way much harder to make them come out while your character is doing other thing. You really have to wait the nearest frame where your character can move again to do them! That's why they are so hard to to!
@@HayateEIN Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU! I have consistently gotten the timing for all of his just frames and for the most part, A/B slide, but I'm still struggling to do it after the run cancel after Hwangs chain move (can't remember the name of it). One more question, my friend. After the run cancel, do you have to input ab slide on the first frame that he returns to neutral after the run cancel? Thanks so much in advance and thanks for pushing me so far with Hwang.
@@michaeljohnson1576 you mean in comboes where you end in crouching state and have to do RCC ? (Recovery Crouch Cancel?)
If it's that case you have to press 6 or 4 (your timing doesn't matter because 4 or 6 can be buffered), but as soon as you start dashing forward or backward you need to be able to cancel your dash into aB without losing too much frames. I don't know exactly how much but there is basically 2 difficulties. If it's a combo where 44B is a garanteed follow-up it means it's an easy difficult, so you have a much larger window to wait a bit and input aB. But if 44B can get ukemied left or right (depends on the character) it means you don't have much frames, so you will need to either perfect in put aB or do something else like FC 3B
Here is two combo that looks similar but they have different difficult (window) to input aB
- CH aB > 236B > 6 > a:B for example is difficult because the opponnent is stunned on the ground front facing which makes his Side Ukemi effective to evade your a:B if you are too late, it's safer to do FC 3B.
- 3B > 66[A] > YYT A > 236B > 6 > a:B seems a similar combo ender but here the opponent is stuned back turned on the ground, that makes his side ukemi less effective so you have a bit more time to wait and input a:B. You can also do 44B here instead, not only it's safer and garanteed but does more damage than FC 3B
@@HayateEIN Excellent explanation. I'll get on practicing the timing right away, Sensei :P
Nice video bro. What's means RCC? I don't get it T_T
How do you rcc into aB
are the commands right? the moves in the game have different inputs.
Whenever I land FC 3B, I mostly continue with 4KB because the scaling is negligent, so it hurts a lot :)
edit: Woops! Scratch that. I just checked, and 6B:B is the same damage as 4KB (roughly), but without use of talismans. Good thing there is a Training mode. :D
