In my school we are also going to teach C++ which is pretty good but ideally you would want to learn python, java, HTML or something like that. C++ is what you should learn when you are already good at programming and thats i criticize about my school all the time.
I can really see why you want to change the school. But don't give up on computer science because you can earn A LOT of money as a programmer or web developer.
Im not actually a fan but i really liked your death note videos.

I'm goin to watch your playlist tonight at work I love listening to videos in the background while I work so thank you and glad to help keep the theory videos up I love them so much is so rare for people to talk about anime in a more analytical view and I love stuff like that I love hearing the philosophy of anime's and character and how another person sees scenario in a show or how character act and someone deep diving into that thought plz keep up those kinda videos they don't even have to be only anime if you want I just love videos that make you think and see things in a different light

Totally agreed. My channel DerSeemann where I do Anime Reviews also suffers. I am doing my BA degree right now. But... I think time management is key. You can do college and the channel if you have a strict time management. I have tons of deadlines for essays and papers. I use citavi as my time manager and have a structure like writing the most important things for exam preparation each weekend for each subject. During the week I write my essays and papers and study my notes.
Can't you live outside campus if the dorm is so expensive? I don't live on campus, but in my country hardly anyone lives on campus and it's saves a lot of money to share a flat. Instead of having a room or entire flat for yourself somewhere. Even shared apartments on campus are more expensive for me, because the flat is old fashioned, the house was built in the 50s and hasn't seen many updates since then. The landlord recently replaced a broken pipe that was extremely corroded. He only repairs things when really necessary hence the rent is extremely low. And I still live in only 2 mins walking distance from campus.
There's nothing wrong with doing a full-time gig like UA-cam for awhile whilst setting college aside. Your choice of going through this route is quite understandable and wise. I'm looking forward to seeing great quality videos in the near future. I wish you the best! 👍✌

Kid you still have a huge future ahead of yourself. Right now is a great time to try youtube but have something to fall back on. Have a side gig going on just in case. UA-cam in it of itself is a far cry from what it use to be. And its going to be very tough now as opposed to 4 years ago.
If you’re looking for a way to earn extra cash on UA-cam try affiliate marketing.
There are online shops, like amazon, that you describe a product and give the link to the product in the description and when people go to that product they buy it you get a commission.
Amazon is one you can do it with but you must sign up for it first.
Affiliate marketing is gold for beginning UA-cam channels so it would certainly help you out. Be sure your products are related to the video you post and if you want to do a different product just give an intro of advertising that product.

I can't offer any decent/worthwhile advice on how to further improve your Patreon page or your UA-cam viewcount, since I'm not well-versed in either. I don't know how the "full-time content creation" route will turn out as of now.
I can say with full certainty, however, that I will be supporting you all the way I can. Ever since I stumbled on some of your videos 2 years ago, you've been one of the few channels I've consistently followed with every upload.... at least, ones where I can't get spoilers on. :P I've always derived great joy from anything you've done whether I agree with them or not. Can't say that about many other channels (*cough* Mother's Basement *violent cough*). I've always been happy whether you'd release 1 video per week or even per year. I'm no stranger to balancing college and work life after all.
Maybe it's because my dad also happened to have a life-changing epiphany about his work life today, but I view what you're doing starting now a bold, inspirational decision. I'm not sure whether this change will be for a season or for a lifetime, but one thing's for sure: it's great that you're giving this a shot. :-)
