Hi i'm have the same problem in my honda CR-V mk3 2.2diesel and i replecment yesterday engine starter and my problem is gone. I don't have to replecment timming chain kit.
@@romanjanke5923 even if they move it will be just a bit and when you put back the chain you twist it back manualy so the marks are matching. Its nothing wrong if they turn. When engines are rebuild they do from scrach.

The key has to be turned until the engine starts. Your way starting the engine is not good for it. Maybe this was the cause of the problem, the engine is not made for such an irregular cranking.
I need to change my timing chain , ive got the kit but i cant find the tool to lock it all before the change, does anyone know where i can get the tool from please.

You didn't change the chain!! I have the codes p0340 and p0344 error codes, the car is not starting, i'm about to change the timing chain, any suggestions about the new chain kit!!? Any idea about which mark i should buy! The mecanic told me that i need to change the whole chain kit, even if the problem was just the tensioner! I can't afford the oem timing chain kit! 🤦
No. I didnt change the chain. A good brand would be FAI but its very expensive. Mecanics have to make their money and to minimize his risk. The best way yes of course is to change the whole kit but even better to buy a new car :))))They can tell you many things . Its up to you what you do.

5w30 full syntetic. Eu schimb uleiul la 8-10000km pentru păstra turbina, cu toate că manualul recomandă schimbul la 30000 km dacă nu greșesc. Poate că motorul poate rezista la așa mare km dar turbinei îi place ulei proaspăt.
@@blackwhite8161 eu nu am o preferință. Care e mai ieftin , atîta timp cît e full syntetic. Stiu pe cineva la vînzarea uleiurilor și mi-a spus că tot e dintr-un butoi doar etichetele diferite.

Hi, nice video, so should be 2 tensioners when comes full kit right? I think i should change too , i can hear chain on my 8th gen civic with 207k km.
Should be 2 chains and 2 tensioners but not kits so be carefull what you order ,;)
Not injectors engine starter week i'm did that yesterday and im don't have any problem with start the engine.

Hi, I haven't change the chain. Just the passages and the tension. I sold the car couple months ago. As far as I know she still runs good.
I got it on ebay.

If cant loosen by hand then try to tap with a hammer and metal bar gentle. That will help. Or if you have an impact screw driver.

Count the teeth from a specific point. Mark them as the new chain marks .

Cant remember but im sure it has to go only one way. When you look at the sproket it would be flat. Good question .
