      @@LSNeely I actually eat it cold, mainly because I don’t have time in the morning before work so I just grab and go. Also I don’t like how it tastes when warm 🤷‍♀️

    I tried this and it turned out amazing! However, I still improvised a couple of things. 1. I didn't have chia seeds so I used pumpkin seeds. 2. I added a little bit of maple syrup, you could also use honey. hope this helps! 😁

      @@Legitz0728 It mixes well but I woudl recommend casein or casein/whey protein mix since whey makes it dry and nothing is worse than dry afternightoats!

    This is literally my every morning breakfast, I use bananas, strawberries, almonds, granola I always try to mix it up and it's so good, also with some honey

    I did the same but I added desiccated coconut to it and it’s was perfect 👌 the coconut absorbed all the milk and it was delicious

    These taste like dessert pudding and I'm living for it! Whether you use something like almond milk, or dairy each is going to give a different, unique flavour profile.
    If you want to indulge a bit and not too concerned about health, you can make it with nutella, it will taste like the best chocolate pudding... otherwise, use pure cocoa powder
    Chopped toasted almonds, mashed banana are good add ons too...

    I love this..it is Fireeee! I prefer putting my fruits/berries just before I eat, though, cuz they tends to get soggy if I put em b4 I refrigerate

    I always see the creamy oats but where Im from we have them as a drink because is so hot thre, we pour around half a cup of oats in some water to hydrate them the pourout the water add around 1liter of fresh water or milk some honey then put it on a blender and serve with some ice

      Apparently due to the processing quick oats go through. They will have a slightly higher glycemic index as opposed to rolled oats. As well the rolled oats are slightly higher in nutrients. However I don't think that it is such a huge difference that it matters.

    Just a heads up: use peanut butter powder rather than store bought peanut butter. It has significantly less fat.

    I don’t use milk but use Full fat Greek Yogurt. And these are my fav. I also put in some nuts but not butter butters so as I have a crunch. A sprinkle of shredded coconut too ❤❤❤❤

    I boil them in milk and let them sit while mixing ofc till most of the milk evaporates, then add lots of cinnamon and 2 tsp of either reg tahini or whole wheat(I prefer whole wheat it's got a stronger flavor)

    I never had this before but cold oatmeal just doesn't sound very appealing. I could be wrong though and might give it a try one day, but it just seems odd... like hot ice cream.

      That's why you cook the oats first in the pan, add spices, add milk and yoghurt and stir and cook down till smooth and fragrant. Add almond butter, raspberries and dark chocolate chips. Best breakfast.

    Everyone says to add honey or maple syrup. I'm happy that I finally found someone that doesn't use them in the recipe. I am trying to cut out added sugars and nut butters (not nuts) from my meals, also I was searching for a oatmeal recipe that didn't taste disgusting, so thank you.     For some reason, raw oats give me stomach aches. I can't have like oatmilk for example.

    I would like to mention that instant / quick oats have less health benefits, nutrition, etc so opt for the less processed oats

      Err what? Plain, instant oats are fine-ish. They are just rolled oats cut down more finely to make them cook quicker. Most of instant oats that are poor health are the ones in flavored packets that contain a ton of sugar to attract people to buy them. But a jar of plain instant oats is the same health benefit as rolled or steel cut oats.l

      @@MatthewHeraghty you can just… look at a nutrition label. That is what I did. The nutrition was the exact same between instant, rolled and steel cut. The only difference between them is in the preparation of each one. Going from longest with steel cut to shortest being instant.
      You are basically saying diced veggies are unhealthy because someone took the time to cut them up.
