I tried this and it turned out amazing! However, I still improvised a couple of things. 1. I didn't have chia seeds so I used pumpkin seeds. 2. I added a little bit of maple syrup, you could also use honey. hope this helps! 😁

Apparently due to the processing quick oats go through. They will have a slightly higher glycemic index as opposed to rolled oats. As well the rolled oats are slightly higher in nutrients. However I don't think that it is such a huge difference that it matters.

Err what? Plain, instant oats are fine-ish. They are just rolled oats cut down more finely to make them cook quicker. Most of instant oats that are poor health are the ones in flavored packets that contain a ton of sugar to attract people to buy them. But a jar of plain instant oats is the same health benefit as rolled or steel cut oats.l
@@MatthewHeraghty you can just… look at a nutrition label. That is what I did. The nutrition was the exact same between instant, rolled and steel cut. The only difference between them is in the preparation of each one. Going from longest with steel cut to shortest being instant. You are basically saying diced veggies are unhealthy because someone took the time to cut them up.
I do this and it made me start liking oats! Makes me feel instantly ✨healthy✨

Made this for the first time and it was delicious! I used the organic super seeds mix which has a mix of chia, flax, and hempseed.
I did the same but I added desiccated coconut to it and it’s was perfect 👌 the coconut absorbed all the milk and it was delicious
