How to Get Rid of Skunks FAST: The Safe and Easy Way

Well your information helped but trying what you've suggested that remains to be seen there is a skunk around my yard that puts off the strongest odor I have ever smelt. It actually comes through the vents and comes inside my house!

Absolutely. And if you or your pet ever get sprayed by a skunk 🦨
You can use Tomato juice to rid the smell. It works. Just pour over and let soak for a period of time, then rinse off. It’s always good to do another tomato soak for less time to rid any remaining smell.
For pets, work juice into coat, and let soak for a period of time. Then rinse with plain water.
This should get rid of the smells.
Your clothes, just throw out.

Experts say that tomato juice doesn't really work, that your nose just gets used to it after a while.
An alternate is:
Mix together:
1 quart of 3-% hydrogen peroxide (available at any pharmacy)
1/4 cup baking soda
1 teaspoon liquid dishwashing soap
The peroxide and baking soda break down the odor causing chemicals.
