Some Basic 80s Neoclassical arpeggios(Yngwie style maybe?)

- For some reason I find it hard to get that minor arpeggio to sound clean ( the one where it’s the same note positions on 3 different strings). It’s probably because I only use 1 finger for those 3 notes, so they all ring out at the same time.

the switch between the scales is what makes it very yngwie
may divine shred bless u
Nice playing technique and nice guitar, keep going, please, you deserve a big stage in the future!
Thanks!
What a good technique you have buddy, keep it up
Thanks 👍
This is not Yngwie style but it sure is neoclassical. Sick tone, this style of arpeggios type stuff reminds me of rhapsody of fire more than yngwie. Nice guitar too.
Just because it sounds more like someone else doesn't mean it doesn't also sound like yngwie. I hear yngwie but at the same time I don't even know who the rhapsody guys are lol
Luca Turilli from Rhapsody of Fire one of the best neo-classical guitarist, it reminds me of his playing too.
Sounds a bit like Axel Rudi Pell for me 😁
I can hear Rhapsody for sure. Also Chamelion - Legends & Lores
Good job and nice choice on the BCR! I have the Extreme mockingbird and love it :)
You've got a lot of potential young brother.
If you pour what you've got in that instrument I think there's big things ahead of you
Thanks, I hope so!
Excellent 😊
Thanks!
0:07 I want to learn that!
Very clean playing, and damn cool shirt! great vid bro.
Thanks a lot!
Nice job Jake
Keep on going

Hello from Latvia (Northern Europe)! Keep on rocking! Any chance of us hearing a Death riff on your channel anytime soon?
If you go to my videos you’ll actually find a cover of Within the mind by Death. We only prepared for 45 minutes, so I messed up part of a riffs timing for a little while but got back on track. So it’s not a great cover. The funny part is that everyone else was playing Christmas songs.
Sveiki! Es esmu anglis, vai jūs varētu man ieteikt kādu latviešu mūziku? es cenšos uzzināt vairāk
great playing as always!
Rock on!
Nicee, and wow is kinda cool that you're one of the 7 guitarrist in the world that uses a warlock fr
That's what I'm talking about
Love the shirt!
Love the shirt👍
Me too lol
Well played
Thank you
that guitar is hot, i'm getting a bc rich warlock extreme exotic purple haze and it's coming sometime in july, pretty sweet, and sick playing, keep goin🔥🔥🤘🤘🎸🎸
Awesome, it’s a great guitar. Only thing I had to do was adjust the action which wasn’t really high, but I like it really low.
@@JacobGenestGuitar idk why i said july, i meant january😭😭
Cool ❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
Good job buddy keep ripping
Thanks dude! The helstar stuff sounds great too! I haven't listened to helstar much yet, but your solos sounded really good, people must have been amazed in the 80s when they heard that!
@@JacobGenestGuitar thanks Jacob, kind of you to say.
All the best to you in your guitar travels.
@therealandrecorbin4050 you too! Thanks.
Epic!! Million dollar question is though what settings or effects are you using to get that ace tone tho??
I think at this point I had mids at 2.5, bass at maybe 3.5, treble at 4.5, very high gain, 34 drive, medium delay, compressor, with all knobs at mid. This is all used with a boss ME-80 on a katana MKII amp.
I was going to comment on that minor inversion where you use one finger on 3 strings, then i saw your description mentioned it too... you have to "roll" your finger so that only one part is playing at a time, and when you lift your finger in the roll THE OTher notes wont ring out
Yeah I already know about the rolling method but I’m just not good at it yet.
I’d put this more with Marty and Jason Becker
Exactly!
Very talented young man! Checkout Children of Bodom’s last album Hexed for more neoclassical inspiration in a modernized style
Thanks
Now try it standing.
Nah, it was kinda boring. nobody really wants to hear that a second time.
