The trick to doing the harder ones is doing them, even if sloppily. Perfecting the 1st step isn't what is required to do the 2nd step. Just gotta get "good enough" and then keep moving forward. The more you challenge yourself, the easier it'll be to polish up on the easy stuff later. TLDR: Exploration/Challenge>Practice/Consistency ↑This is not an absolute ratio. Of course, you need to practice. Just do more exploration is all.
@@Duval_Sama The trick to doing anything well -- is to do it slowly first with metronome. Otherwise, you're literally practicing how to do it with mistakes.
@@PoissonPi For clarification. I didn't say NOT to use a metronome. The thing is I totally forgot to mention it. Any practice without metronome is gonna be shoddy practice. But again. My point being. Don't sweat perfecting something. Get it good enough to where it comes naturally to you and then move on to the next lesson. And back to the practice slow thing. That procedure, although tried and true. Can be tedious and boring. Which is why I make sure not to obsess too much over playing faster. I prefer learning new things and scaling speed as I go. And as a last final note to "playing with mistakes". You HAVE to make mistakes to learn. Don't fear mistakes. They are what make you better. The more you find places where you make mistakes, the more you learn where you can improve. Learn to keep playing even after you make a mistake. Don't stop and return to the start. Keep going. If you're playing live and you miss/or play the wrong note, there's no going back.
Ichika taking the time to dumb things down for us and patiently walk us through the process is what elevates him from a virtuoso to a truly timeless master. Paving the way for the next generation is the most noble thing an artist can do.
dude, that thing was heavenly, i was actualy blown away while listening to it, i can not congratulate you enought with just a youtube comment, thanks for everything ichika, i am one of those guys who were saved by your music, you keep me alive with soul, you are awessome
This is such a great deconstruction of Ichika's style, so simple to understand and with clear steps toward replicating it, as well as room to diversify and develop one's own style around it
i don't usually comment but i just wanted to drop in and say that you're such an inspiration to so many guitarists out there and i hope you continue as long as it is satisfying for you.
Let's just stop to think about how Ichika is not even on his peak yet. He is still so young and already playing and making these wonderful compositions. Imagine what he will be releasing when he's 50.
That was very beautiful, it has this defeated yet still hopeful feel to. Just need to get past the dark for any light to shine kind of feel. Awesome new guitar as well
Your style of music is basically a waterfall of pure bliss. I seriously cannot be in a bad mood listening to you play. Hope you could come to Colorado one day in the US.
Uhh, I bet you have like a high IQ and stuff dude!!! I just woke up, and that was one of the most beautiful and amazing soundracks for my morning, to set the day, that I've ever heard. THANK YOU ICHIKA.🙏
First off!!! I'm not going to feel complete until I have this guitar. Second. I seriously think this is one of the most fundamentally sound videos I've ever seen for showing beginner/intermediate guitar players technique development based off something as simple as learning your Arpeggios. All friends and Family in my life now and forever to come shall know the Name Ichika Nito
I’m getting my first electric guitar for Christmas and I’m definitely using this to learn, i can already play a couple songs but i wanna get better at arpeggios
@@alfredomangean6186 I Guess so, i was just trying to say that arpeggiating a chord is not too difficult if you can already play a chord. Ichira is crazy good.
This is making my heart singing and dancing. Wow this is so beautiful I have no words. There are so many Arpeggio Guitar Heroes tormenting their guitars fretboard and it sounds yes fast and skilled but not like music. This my true Hero is pure delighting music, congrats and the guitar is just wow, sound and look absolutely fantastic!
You inspire me so much, because of you and Yvette I started going for medical threatment for my wrist and hands so I could go back into playing guitar without feeling horrible pain. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us.
One simple example of the 100+ lovely details on display: That pick stroke on the low string, such perfect amount of force to elicit that sweet full thump.
Just listening to each level was very enjoyable, however when you play "Everything" my heart truly felt the full emotion channeling through every note. You are such an amazing musician!

lvl 10 is perfect. You only become a master when you can incorporate everything. The slow and melodic and the frantic quick ear pleaser with everything in between
Same, was thinking 'I've been playing for 16 years and I'm pretty good at rhythm/arpeggios so I should be fairly hi- Oh... Oh no... Wow... ...Yeah I'm still a beginner.'
Whoever's reading this, i pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen
@Ichica Thank you so much for the lesson, bro. I was seriously looking for a good practice to get back into shape, and this is perfect. I like the "Blaster Master" video game intro theme, as it warms up my timing and left hand speed. I vary the speed to as fast as I can.
I’ve always loved songs with interesting guitar riffs and when I discovered Nito it’s like I discovered an alien world because he does things that I don’t think have ever been done before on guitar. His guitar style scratched the part of my brain that had been itching to hear something complex and different for so long. His music is exactly what I’ve been needing to hear, almost like the most odd missing piece to my puzzle as cheesy as that may sound lol
Amazing and beautiful as always!! and also, thank you for the tabs!! Really appreciate the time that you took to make it :) Time to pick up and practice the guitar heh
Finally some great beginner tab that I can practice for the next 5 years
