Thanks for the demo of the Ryobi brad nailer. I've had mine since last summer, and haven't used it. I was kind of afraid there would be a big kickback. You've given me the motivation to get it out and actually use it! Thanks for that AND the great project idea!!!❤

I absolutely adore the ease and safety of the brad nailer! I've been struggling with the weight and use of drills and other power tools. I think that might be the answer to my back. ty again

Better yet they have contact with lots of lawyers, accountants etc who have to change reference books at this time of year. Yay. So nice to see ideas l like and would actually use. Instant subscriber. Thanks. 😊
So cute! Is it sturdy with just the two pieces like that? Could you screw a couple of angled shelving rack brackets in the corners to hold them steady? It would make them pretty when pulled out and probably make them sturdy. Great ideas! I love the one where all the cords are behind the TV and showed hubby- he was impressed! We might have to try it for ours! Thanks for sharing!
Another great idea & love how you present things to make them simple for everyone. I also love getting practical gifts aka power tools. A dear friend gave me a cordless chainsaw with 6" blade for Christmas. I was so excited, my friend's wife looked at me like i had lost my mind😂. Hugs & blessings from Texas 💖🦋🤗
I think everything is expensive!!! 😆 We got it during Black Friday, so it was $40 off the normal price. If you don't have any of the tools, it will be a bit more, because you will need to buy the battery and charger. But it's usually around $100. Ryobi runs specials often with 'starter' kits! You get a drill, charger, battery, a case, and sometimes some bits for about $100 - that is a GREAT deal.
Brilliant! I can't bear cord mess. I've finally learned that having anything in lidded boxes (which was the solution I came up with that failed) does not work for me, but I like to have things out of sight. This is perfect for me, thank you! You've sold me on the brad gun, Norrine. I'd really love a tutorial on cutting wood for us absolute beginners who don't have the slightest bit of experience of woodworking. I've smelled wood, that's the full extent of my knowledge in full-size woodwork (miniature woodworking does not count). I'd really like to know the quickest, easiest, safest tools and techniques.
Thanks Norrine! I made one to hide my sister's cable router. I printed out a free book spine template I found and glued it to cereal box cardboard and then made some sides with heavier cardboard to hold it up. No one can tell. You could take a picture of some books and use a color printer to print it too.
That is so great looking! I've got a bunch of cords that show beside our TV stand. I'll have to look for something I can use to hide those power strips. 😊❤
Hi, Norrine! Love this video. I found a box with a hinged lid and a hole drilled in it for my bedroom and all our chargers at a thrift store. It was already painted a color that worked in my room. It was a lucky day! Now I have to replace my surge protector because it doesn’t have enough room anymore. We just have to keep updating our solutions. Can’t wait for the Wednesday video! 😊🌺💕
Great find on that box!!! And, so true with things needing updating! My old kitchen had one plug. ONE! But, the the 1940's when it was built, who needed plugs in the kitchen?? Now, newer kitchens have plugs every few feet!! I wonder what things will look like in 40 years... Thanks for checking in!
So many great ideas! I used the wire basket & cup holders at my job - and once IT saw it & approved of the clean, efficient method, they recommended it to others at my place of employment. They liked how it still allowed easy accessibility. This is so helpful, Norrine-- as usual 🙂🥰❤️
I just love your videos. Not only are they crafty and beautiful, but also they're so practical. Watching your videos is like a detox from the trendy "hacks" we get inundated with lol.
Hello, Norrine, from Derbyshire, UK. Thinking about getting one of those automatic nailers. Recently got treated to a small power drill with screwdriver head bits for Christmas and I *love* it. No more twisting my wrist -- power tools rule! ;-)
Great ideas, I will definitely be using a lot of them, thank you for sharing. BTW, a suggestion with regard to the top and bottom notes on the wood, maybe a better option would be to use a piece of masking tape and write the notes on that, much easier to remove 😉
Hi Norrine! I love the idea of having a power bar in a box with a lid! That is going on my list of "must do"! Thank you for that idea! I love what you did to hide your cables on your shelf and glass door handles always remind me of my childhood home! Glad you are having fun with your laser machine! You and Sherry from Posh Paper Lady should do a collaberation as she is loving hers too! That could be so fun! 😍
I think you are psychic. I was just searching for away to hide my cable cords, search in UA-cam and here you are 10 hours ago releasing this video. LOL Perfect timing and great ideas!

We have a bunch of Ryobi tools, but I think we need a brad nailer. That would come in handy. I like that there's no kickback, too. That's a nice power strip holder. I have several and they just sit out so that would be a nice project, too. Can't wait to see your other projects. Thanks!
Two things I've learned from you: to stop feeling guilty for rescuing furniture from the side of the road, and to use contact paper more effectively when I cover things. Thanks!!
Having shelves on every wall means outlets are hidden. I either cut a hole in furniture for cords or use a flat plug on an extension cord that goes under or around the furniture. Thanks for these ideas.
Old Reader’s Digest condensed books are a great source for hardcovers you can repurpose. You don’t have to feel bad about ruining a good book. You might be able to find them for a cheap deal in a thrift store or garage sale.
That's a good idea. My older son and daughter in law paid a crafting person to fold the pages of two of those books so that when they're standing up vertically with the pages facing out, one says Mom and the other says Dad. They're usually quite nicely bound too so they look attractive on a shelf. 👍😊
Oh, I love those books!!!! Thrift stores here are charging almost $3 each for hardback books!!!! I need 10. So...... hoping garage sales season starts soon!
@@TheCraftyOrganizerwhat about books from the dollar tree? You can get hardback books there. Sometimes you find some books that they sell that don’t even sound good. Lol😂 or go to a library. Sometimes they sell or give old books that they are getting rid of or are falling apart.

You don’t need books. You just need to find book covers and copy them and print them out (so you will always have the original). Then wrap them around edges of Mac and cheese boxes (each box should give you two book spines). If Mac and cheese boxes don’t work, measure them and look for food sources such as cereal that fit.
