- Welcome to Week 7 of my series of weekly crafty videos where I create a project each week and share it with you. Today it's all about making pretty paper clips for my junk journal. You can use these as pretty bookmarks, tuck spots, or attachments and everything in between! Follow along as I share five different styles, each one as easy as the next, and so pretty.

Love your paper clips! Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone thread the paper strip on the short wire of the paper clip and hide it. Sure looks nice that way!

I too, do my paper clip with two different lengths, from side to side. Slipping them on makes for greater ease. Rounding edges and all. These are so lovely! Thank you. The second one is similar as well. I measure mine and then shorten the one side. The grommet is so easy to place. All of my paperclips have four layers. I have several Jumbo I like the idea of these as decorative paper clips.. Now I can.. Thank you again.

These are amazing. Thank you! I'm going to start adding them to some of my handmade cards and explain to the recipient that they can use them afterwards as bookmarks, planner markers, etc Great way to use up leftovers and scraps too. So cool!

Beautiful, perfect paperclips w/pretty scrap paper or card stock. Love the added ribbon or cord ties. Turn out is so pretty. These remind me of another crafter's paperclip (hidden that time). Thank you XOJANE

So so cute! I’ve really been wanting to venture into the junk journals and these would be a great addition too. I’ve done a few decorated paper clips with beads and charms but not these with paper but I love them and hope to give them a try soon. I even have lots of sizes of paper clips too. O'MY Your journal is beautiful!! I have been making cards, gel prints, just about anything I can do. I watch a lot of utube because I learn so much from all the gifted people on here. I have never seen such a beautiful journal!! I won't say junk because there doesn't seem to be any junk in there! It's very, very beautiful.

Hi, Annette. I haven't watched all the video yet, but I paused at the part where you show maming the back shorter than the front for ease of putting the clip on. I've been doing this since I discovered the hidden clips, but I've been making the back about 1/4" longer. Great minds, Annette. I love the video so far. . . sure it will be great all the way to the end.

These hidden paper clips are just beautiful, Annette. I would love to make some, but I'm not very good at odd ruler measurements. My Husband make me a chart and I'lll have to find it.
