I really like these compilation videos because they're not just pictures with music, you tell us why you like them - and we get inspired. The detergent cutting one is brilliant - I use something similiar to make a scoop for my cat's litter. So much easier than trying to pick up the whole bag.
Our ReStore's (Habitat) prices things way too high for someone to buy for crafting storage on a budget. Same with Goodwill and a privately owned thrift store. We go in to find good deals, but sometimes Walmart and such will have the exact same thing, brand new for lesser money. We keep trying though, lol.
Oh wow. Literally gasped several times at the paradigm-shifting ideas. So many genuinely unique and game-changing approaches that I’m going have to rewatch a few times to let it all sink in! Yes, please- you have curated these so spectacularly that I would watch any of these you care to create! 🩵
During covid, I cleaned and re organized my craft room. I ran around my house, attic and basement to see what was not being used to try and re-use. One video you mentioned to look around your home, and boy, did I find things to re-use. I was overwhelmed several months went by and things were just scattered everywhere, but when areas started to take shape, my sad face turned to happy face. I continue to adjust and tweak areas, but your videos really helped. Thank you.
I have been watching A LOT of organizing videos for months and slowly working on implementing things in my home. All I see is the same ideas over and over again. It was refreshing to watch a video with creative new ideas especially using items I already have. You have a new subscriber. Thank you for all the time and work you put into making your content!!
I wish I had you at my home for about a month. I have hoarded so much in my craft room. My bedroom is small and total caios with my husband and trying to put away clothes. My attic looks like it threw up boxes and old toys and Christmas decorations. Slowly getting junk out and donating. I do have to say I love some of these ideas. My mouth dropped open on some. Would have never thought of them.
This video is incredible! We are building a new house and it won't have a basement like the one we are in right now. I've been worried about losing the storage but this has my mind going 100 mph on things we can do!
The time flew by with this video. I enjoyed your commentary with it so, yes, these would be a good format to add occasionally, too. Lots of really cool ideas. Thanks!
CONGRATULATIONS on your Wedding, he’s a lucky guy. I can see how happy you are by watching your videos. Thank You So Much for coming back! I’ve been watching your videos for some time and I learn so much. I’ve missed you!
Noreen, these compilation videos are awesome! They are packed full of organizing goodness in a short and concise manner. You have worked so hard for us. Thanks so much. I love and learn from ALL of your videos.
My favorite bobbin organizers can be found in the sewing section at JoAnn’s or Hobby Lobby, but they aren’t as inexpensive as your examples. They plug into the top hole if the spool of thread and the bobbin goes on top. One style is short and stubby and the bobbin clips inside. The other is like a peg and the bobbin goes around the peg. You might be able to make your own for less by getting the right size dowel so that it fits snuggly into the center of the spool and bobbin. I’ve also seen examples using golf tees to connect the bobbin to its spool. I never store bobbins separately from its spool because I have too many threads that look alike but are different (poly, nylon, cotton or similar colors that are too hard to tell apart). Getting the wrong bobbin with the spool can result in very uneven tension and stitches even if your machine is adjusted perfectly.
I love both of these ideas, as well. I already have button storage that has been working for me for many years, but the added microorganisms step of putting matching buttons on a safety pin is a game changer for me. And when that hanger came on the screen I was literally visualizing all the things I could hang from it. I have several of these that I've been looking for a way to upcycle, and now I know how.
The cardboard cat litter boxes work well..great tips thank you!* I covered mine with Whole Foods paper bags they have pretty green leaves . Used as file boxes
I love the organization videos like this. I’m a UA-cam crafty creator and have a space that can easily get overwhelming. You videos are very helpful. Thank you!
I had a large wire hanging shelf thing for the shower ..it was to hang on the inside of the shower door....but i hung it on the side of my metal baker's rack for all my spices! Outside the box for a win! 😁
Try craigslist or other free options. Often have these for free. My daughter upcycled one for granddaughter's pet lizard.😊 Looks awesome, it's real wood. TFS great ideas.
Norrine you made me laugh so hard at the end with your blooper! Such great storage ideas! I'm currently trying to declutter and reorganize.....for the umpteenth time.....and I'm sure I will be using at least a couple of these ideas! Thank you so much for sharing! 😍
Compliations are my FAVORITE! It's nice to see a bunch at once, it keeps the video exciting and dopamine filled, and they are easy to reference again so I can screenshot an idea or something. And YOU can waste time on Pinterest etc. for me 🤪 (thanks!) and I'll feel more productive watching only the best stuff, because you blow my mind all the time! Keep 'em coming.
I really like these compilation videos with a niche. I don't have time to search online for storage ideas. I know that you share quality ideas that you would actually use and i appreciate you taking the time to do all the legwork.
I absolutely love your compilation videos. The fact that you let us know where you found the ideas is priceless. And, you are also priceless❤ Thanks for all the hints and tips . Even if they don't apply to me I still watch and enjoy.
Thank you for sharing. Lots of good ideas for storage. Can you do a storage tutorial for small spaces for jewelry making items, vinyl, stickers, and paper.
Smart storage, I worked with people with traumatic brain injuries, many of your ideas would work for their issues! Usually out of sight meant the item was lost really gone and items moved caused so much frustration they couldn’t complete even enjoyable tasks! I personally have similar issues as I am aging! Blessed days!
Thanks, Norrine for all the great storage idea. I'm going to try the one with the glitter glue bottles & velcro. I just got 2 ribbon holder shelves for free from a craft store near me that takes peoples craft items & resales then & donates the money to lots of charities. So many great ideas.
I love this! So many great ideas. I sent a screenshot of the shelves attached to the basement joists to my husband. Now I want to go organize something!
These are awesome videos keep them coming, I too get in the rabbit hole, so I’d love to take a minute with my morning coffee and see what you found down the rabbit hole I missed 😂
I like the compilation vids. You always include such good ideas! I have some of the tall DVD shelves and took all of my DVDs and put them in paper sleeves to store under my TV and then used the shelves to hold knick nacks and family photos. The adjustable shelves are great for customizing to the size I need so I can maximize what u have in display. And I use the top like a faux mantel. Now you've inspired me to find one with doors... would be a great way to store paints and bottle stuff! (Especially if I could find one that would fit inside the bottom half of my shelves)
Love all these ideas. Can't wait to see how many I can incorporate into my home. Have a large bookcase that is going to go in my new craft room. Never would have thought to use the one open side for a pegboard. Think I already have one the right size even. As always, you are a source of great ideas. Thanks so much, Norrine! 😊
This was a great video! I love rescuing and repurposing things. Plus it saves money. I’ve seen other videos where it would cost a fortune to copy their ideas. I’m going to be fixing up my craft/office room soon, so I happy to rewatch this several times. 😊
Thank you, thank you, thank you, I love all the ideas. I kept stopping the video and running around to put some of the ideas to use. I will have to watch it again to do the rest. Love these kind of videos keep them up. Thanks again.
This is my first time watching your channel and I have to say I'm shocked you are amazing. I feel like I found someone who thinks like me. I admire your work and congratulations for your success on social media. I look forward to watching all of your videos.
I enjoy videos like this! You may have forgot to mention the rain gutter storage for rolls of ribbon. I learned that from one of your older videos and use it and it’s perfect.
Oh yes!!! You have the BEST Ideas.!! I did take an armoire I moved out that was my Daughter’s, to finally have a my Mom cave.. It’s been in my garage and I’m really thinking about putting it back in.. So much storage! Why I moved it out? ? I’m glad I kept it..I have been looking where I can put it back into my Room. Thanks for reminding me of them.👏👏🙏🕊🤟
Hello Norrine, just wanted to say hello. I loved your previous video also, but I don't always have the chance to comment. You look so happy and I am thrilled for you. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
I LOVE all this stuff!! LOL - Do you 'member the button book we made? I got so far with it and couldn't, for the life of me, figure out how to finish it? Five minutes and a roll of tape and you had it completed. I still have it and it still holds all my buttons!! Girl!! Form and function!! Travis and I leave Wednesday for Indiana to check it out in the chilly weather, 'tho it's not too bad - 30s and 40s. We're SO done with California! Oh! And there's an IKEA about 20 minutes from where we'd like to live! Yay! To answer your question, yes, I like the compilation vid. It's going directly into my "Organization"' folder for safe keeping. Very many good ideas here for sure. Love and hugs my friend! I'll see you in a few days. 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
My favorite floss organizers are little ziplocks made specifically for this. No need to unwind and rewind floss, has a spot to label with the color number and loose pieces that are still long enough to be used can slip in the bag as well. Most of the bags designed for this have a small hole in the bag so it can be hung on a peg or gathered on a ring. If you can’t find the kind specifically made for floss you can make your own from pint sized freezer ziplock bags that have a place to write the color number and use a paper hole punch to make a hole. Or you could insert card stock to file them. I use 3 large hinged binder rings to store mine in DMC color number order. If I have another brand that is the equivalent number I put it in the same bag. The rings hang on cup hooks on the inside of a closet door. I use an index card with a hole punched to note colors that are out for a project and which project I’m using them for. Then I gather the project colors in color number order on a smaller hinged binder ring.
This was great! I’m contemplating moving my craft room back to the main floor of the house, but I’ve collected a lot of,um, stuff since I moved to the basement. I took screenshots of some ideas. Please continue to bring us these types of videos!
I absolutely love these compilation videos. It saves me so much time searching and searching and searching for ideas and I appreciate when you tell us if you've used them and if they worked for you
I will never say no to an organization compilation video.
Noreen, I love this video!!! I love all of your videos!
That paint bottles with magnets & the cookie sheet is BRILLIANT!!! 💯🙌🏼
I got excited when I saw that one too!! 💐
That one was really cool!
I really like these compilation videos because they're not just pictures with music, you tell us why you like them - and we get inspired. The detergent cutting one is brilliant - I use something similiar to make a scoop for my cat's litter. So much easier than trying to pick up the whole bag.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm so glad the response is positive. :)
I work at a Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and cannot understand why nobody wants armoires. They hold SO MUCH!
Oh my gosh which one I’ll be right there!!! 😀 the one by my house seldom has good things anymore. Makes me sad.
I love them, but it takes a small army to move them. Otherwise, I would have one in every room.
One reason is they are so heavy to move ....I have one I repainted... "IT HOLDS SO MUCH"!!!
Great video, great ideas!
Oh wow. Literally gasped several times at the paradigm-shifting ideas. So many genuinely unique and game-changing approaches that I’m going have to rewatch a few times to let it all sink in! Yes, please- you have curated these so spectacularly that I would watch any of these you care to create! 🩵

Omg, Norine, you have really outdone yourself with this video!! My Bee/Cricket heart is racing!

Maybe one day! I’m hoping to get an RV and start coming around to help people keep me posted!!!!
This video is incredible! We are building a new house and it won't have a basement like the one we are in right now. I've been worried about losing the storage but this has my mind going 100 mph on things we can do!
I’m going to have to rewatch this several times because of so many great ideas and tips for me to remember! This is like 20 videos in one! 😮❤
Glad it was helpful!

Thank You So Much for coming back! I’ve been watching your videos for some time and I learn so much. I’ve missed you!
I'm glad to be back... Thanks, GrammaDeenie 💐
Thread spool + bobbin was worth watching ten like this. I've only been chasing lost spools or bobbins for six decades ...
I thought it was a great idea too 🥰
Noreen, these compilation videos are awesome! They are packed full of organizing goodness in a short and concise manner. You have worked so hard for us. Thanks so much. I love and learn from ALL of your videos.
Thank you for the kind words!!!! It's so much fun for me to do these.
This is INCREDIBLE! My favorite video on craft organization ever!
A lot of great ideas! Thank you! Just as a note, I keep all my thread on small shelves, and the bobbins are connected to each spool with a golf tee.
What an absolutely great idea! Thanks for commenting! 😊
That's a great idea!
Great Idea!!!
Organizationally challenged here, thank you so much for this video. Brilliant!
Let me know if you have any specific questions - I'll do my best to help. 😊
Norrine, I LOVE the compilations! There are so many ideas to draw from. Keeps me on my toes while out at garage sales and thrift stores. Thanks!
Glad you like them! I'll keep them coming. :)

Thanks for compiling these! Lots of great ideas!! I especially liked the cookie sheet and magnets idea. Lots of possibilities! Thanks for sharing!! 🎁🥰
You are so welcome! I really like that cookie sheet idea too.
Im thinking about using the old detergent containers for magazine holders!
GREAT idea!
Yes! Garage sales are awesome for furniture!! Just go early! I use a changing table in my shed for potting plants and storage.
Our 'garage sale season' starts in two weeks. I can't wait!!!!
Love the idea of the hanger with cup hooks for belts and my favorite was the safety pin to store buttons. Great ideas love these videos. 😊💕
I love both of these ideas, as well. I already have button storage that has been working for me for many years, but the added microorganisms step of putting matching buttons on a safety pin is a game changer for me. Love this, please share more
Coming soon!
Thank you! I have moved from a 3 bedroom house to a 500 sq ft cabin so I need all the ideas I can get!

Yeah, I'm only 57... but not liking the preview I am getting! LOL
Just what I crave. Keep them coming.
You’ve got it
Thanks, Norrine for all the great storage idea. I'm going to try the one with the glitter glue bottles & velcro. I just got 2 ribbon holder shelves for free from a craft store near me that takes peoples craft items & resales then & donates the money to lots of charities. So many great ideas.
Have fun with your new ribbon holders!!
Well now that’s a fantastic option👏👏👏
I’ve not seen or heard of this concept! What state are you in?!! ❤️😀
Rochester NY @@rachelburgener819 The prices of the items are greatly reduced. The money goes to countries to provide water & also to local charities.
I love that there are people who do amazing things like that! What beautiful gesture. ❤
I love this! So many great ideas. I sent a screenshot of the shelves attached to the basement joists to my husband. Now I want to go organize something!

Awesome feedback! Thank you!
Wow! Those were really good ideas. Thank you.
Lots of GREAT IDEAS, Norrine! Thank you. ❤😊❤. Take care, Hon. Laura and Lucy 🐾
Thanks, Laura and Lucy!
Woo hoo update me with what you do with it!!!
Great videos. Saved a ton of time for us who go down that rabbit hole...you know! Thank you!❤
I love those rabbit holes! LOL Happy to go down them for you :)
So many of your ideas are really different and new. Well done. Thank you.

OMG! I love all these storage ideas. You have an amazing number of them. Have you ever thought of putting together an ebook of them? I'd buy it.
Hmmmmmm. I hadn't! Thanks for the great suggestion!
Fun ideas! I love a good China cabinet or wardrobe for craft supplies but they are hard to find!
I agree… they’re harder to find
these are some i haven't seen elsewhere, thank you. Loved the rubber band for the bobbin, and the hanging embrodery thread files lol
Yay! So glad I could bring you some new ideas! :)
Yay!!!!! Send me pictures if you do it!!!
