- A Sony a6700 cinematic music video of 'Como el Viento' by David Huson & Antonio Moreno Glazkov. Shot handheld with Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 in SLOG3, 4K in 24fps and 60fps. I got inspired by the Southern European atmosphere to create this edit where urban and natural scenery blend together with dance. Shot in Portugal & The Netherlands.
Dance performance by Rohdé Veerhuis & Lisbon Breakers
Narrated by Emma Segura

Beautiful colors and great flow!
How do you get your worj so crisp. I have this camera but cant get my work to look this beautiful
I'm glad that among the endless stream of mediocre videos, there are still such talented video makers!
Looks so cinematic.. Love the colors and music!
Thank you! Yeah, the music is so good
Excelente imágenes tengo la misma cámara y a veces salgo a grabar algo
Wooiww 💯🔝🔝🔝 so good
Awesome work! Love it!
Thanks a lot!
wow wow wow !
Thanks!
Nice video my friend and hope to see more videos 😍
Love it Kasper!! ❤
Thanks a lot Gabi! 🙏
Brilhante mesmo, Lisboa... comprei hoje a minha A6700, você fez correção de cor? pode me dizer que modo usou, que PP usou? Videos top vou seguir o canal
Really brilliant, Lisbon... I bought my A6700 today, you did color correction? Can you tell me which mode you used, which picture profile you used? Top videos I will follow the channel
Thanks! I filmed in SLOG3 in 10 bit and graded with "Neutral" Phantom Lut as a base. On top of that I did a subtle creative grade to make it a bit warmer.
DAMN, how beatiful colors, bro.
Thanks man!

So amazing , so cinematic , and the sigma seems to be amazing too , im struggling to decide between this Sigma and the Tamron 17-70mm , i don’t know if you have an opinion on the tamron too, thank you!
Thanks! I think they are both great. What made me choose for the Sigma is mainly the lighter weight, smaller size and I noticed I liked the bokeh better compared to the Tamron. But if you want more reach, the Tamron is great too I think.
@@KaspervanDijk Thank you so much for the detailed response.
goated
Prachtig. Muziek past er perfect bij ook
Dankjewel man!
Amazing man! This has such an original feel. Can you help me with how stabilized the video? With the sigma lens, the a6700 doesn't do a great job stabilizing for me. Also amazing grade. Would love to know how you did that. I am a beginner.
Much love for your amazing art. Inspired
Thank you so much! I use warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro at 1 to 10% to stabilize some of the footage. And I find the in-camera 'active' stabilization does a pretty good job as well. I don't use it that often though, because I don't like the extra crop. Also I often use a neck strap to create some tension and an extra point of contact to stabilize the camera.
In terms of color grading, I shoot in SLOG3 and use the "Neutral" Phantom Lut as a base. On top if that I use a creative lut or grade by hand to create a certain mood. Often I use the "KDX" Lut to create a subtle warm mood. Hope that helps you out a bit!
Thanks for such a detailed answer, really appreciate it. Can you throw some light on where are both of those LUTs from, and how can I get them? Also, I have been seeing your work for the last one week, it's amazing! Figured out that you are from the netherlands apparently, you may check out my documentary "Gezellig" based on the city of Amsterdam. Thanks mate! @@KaspervanDijk
Do you use a gimbal or a rig?
or is it all handheld?
It's 100% handheld with a bit of post stabilization (warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro)
Srsly great job man!@@KaspervanDijk
Thanks!@@Faarupmedia
This is really amazing! Just subscribed. Which one do you recommend more for first zoom lens? The sony 18-105 or sigma 18-50?
Thank you! If you have a camera body with good IBIS I would recommend the Sigma 18-50. But with a camera without IBIS or without using a gimbal/tripod I would recommend the sony 18-105 for it's OSS.
@@KaspervanDijk thankyou so much for the reply! will def check it out
a few questions: Did you use phantom luts on this? And are you on auto iso or auto shutter speed?
Yes, I used the 'Neutral' Phantom lut. The iso, aperture and shutter speed is all manual. I try to use a 180 degree shutter angle as much as possible and use a variable nd filter to compensate for the light.
are you using gimbal or all handheld?
It's completely handheld with some post stabilization with warp stabilizer in Premiere Pro
@@KaspervanDijk awesome videos, the best i've seen of the a6700. What card do you use?
I use Sandisk Extreme Pro V30 cards, but that's not recommended if you want to shoot 4K 120fps. For that you have to use v90 cards. @@jaredlobato5264
R u using luts??
Yes, I used the "Neutral" Phantom Lut
Hey Kaspar, I was wondering if you think I could achieve similar colours and quality with the same Sigma 18-50mm 2.8 on a a6500. I know you use a a6700 now but I’ve seen that you also have experience with the a6500. Was wondering what the difference in quality purely between those two cameras would be vs the lens.
On the a6500 I wouldn't use SLOG3 on 8 bit footage. I found cine4 to be the best compromise on the a6500. So, the main difference between this and the a6700 in SLOG3 (10 bit) would be the dynamic range and color depth. Still I think you can great results on the a6500 if you know it's limitations.
@@KaspervanDijk Very interesting. When I travelled last year, I shot in Cine4. Is SLOG3 on 8 bit considered redundant? Like the extra dynamic range of SLOG3 doesn’t make a difference because of 8 bit? Or would I still benefit from using SLOG3 anyway?
The problem of using SLOG3 on 8 bit footage is bringing back the contrast in post. There's too little color information to bring back rich colors which is most notable with banding in the sky for example or weird color artifacts. That's why I found cine4 to be a good compromise, because it already has some contrast. So you don't have to correct it too much in post.@@RadeenChoudhury
Your videos are really fantastic 👌 I got myself the same combo (a6700 and Sigma 18-50). Is the scene at 1:20- 1:22 also filmed with the Sigma and if so with which aperture? As flexible as the lens is, I'm disappointed with the backlight behavior. I have lens flares that look like Stop signs.🙈Have you noticed similar behavior?
Thanks! 1:20 was also filmed with the Sigma. I don't remember what aperture I used in that shot, but judging the DOF it probably was somewhere between f4-f8. I don't have any problem with the flares, they look quite natural to me.
@@KaspervanDijk thanks for your answer. I'll have to keep testing.
@@KaspervanDijk Another question :) how often do you use the 35mm 1.8 oss as a prime lens even though you have the sigma 18-50mm - is it worth it? And is the aperture at 1.8 usably sharp?
I don't use it that often, only in very low light situations. The Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 is sharper all around, but still I find the 35mm f1.8 oss usable at f/1.8. I use the Sigma 18-50mm 90% of the time. @@isleskye6995
@@KaspervanDijk Thank you my friend, it has helped me in my decision making.
What filter do you use?
I used an Urth ND2-32 Variable ND filter
Wow this is great. What picture profile did you use?
Thanks! I used Slog3 and graded with 'Neutral' Phantom Lut
@@KaspervanDijkyour work is great, make videos with other point and shoot and mirrorless cameras. You can rent cameras and can make video with them.
@kaspervanDijk can u plz share this lut to me??
@@KaspervanDijk thanks!
What mm lens 😊
All shot with Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8
@@KaspervanDijk thank you so much 🤓
