    • Matt Stetar, known online as "Diesel Creek," is a UA-camr from western Pennsylvania who gained popularity for his content on heavy machinery and construction projects, turning content creation into his full-time profession during the COVID-19 pandemic.
    • Born as the unplanned "oops" baby in a small town near Weirton, West Virginia, Matt pursued a welding certificate after high school, leading to various jobs including working at a landscaping company, a machine shop, and eventually in pipeline construction.
    • Matt's early interest in mechanics was influenced by his father and grandfather, but he pursued it as a hobby rather than a career, eventually finding his niche in operating heavy machinery and sharing his experiences on UA-cam.
    • "Diesel Creek" was revitalized in 2019 when Matt, laid off due to the pandemic, began posting videos of his work with machinery, leading to substantial growth in his channel thanks to the increased viewership during the lockdown.
    • As of September 2023, Matt Stetar's net worth is estimated at $1.6 million, with income sources including UA-cam monetization, merchandise sales, Amazon affiliate links, and brand sponsorships, showcasing his successful transition from traditional employment to online content creation.

Diesel Creek is miles ahead of watching the nightly news shows, regardless of the political slant. Matt is just a regular guy who is doing what he enjoys. Remember the adage, do something you love and you never have to go to work.

People such as myself who come from a blue collar background of construction etc. like Matt because he is a regular Joe, likeable and we all have a friend like Matt in our working and personal circle...he is down to earth, very knowledgeable and a gear head...what is better than that, his videos are very informative and i have learned more watching his videos than I could ever have learned in a classroom..,thanks Matt wherever you are, and I wish you all the success in the world..God loves the working man and that grease under your nails is the road of gold..I have watched him grow to the point know where his knowledge is such that he can spot deals, make a few repairs, and flip equipment making a decent buck, who can begrudge him...and he is right, the old stuff was much easier to fix...lets face it, if it moves the same amount of dirt with a quarter of the headaches, makes sense to me...John Deere ruined their brand by over sophistication forcing exorbitant fees to be charged to their customers at JD Dealerships because they became to complicated "on purpose' for people to repair on their own...with the Labour price in shops, it would break a normal man's budget...I say we keep the old ways including the equipment that made sense...did the most amount of work with the least amount of downtime and fighting with complicated repairs...my Grandfather always said it best...keep it simple...stupid!!! Matt is the type of guy we would all want to sit down and have a cold one after a day's work with...talk the usual bs, a few lies, and all the things we are going to do...someday...thank God for the people like Matt in this throwaway society we live in today

Left out of the video is the rest of the story on how Diesel Creek got its name.
Matt was fined for an accidental spill of diesel fuel into the creek where he lived and worked.

Yes we sold it in 2021, these scum bags just scour the internet looking for bread crumbs so you think they got some juicy info and get you to watch... were not hiding anything, no juicy info... but if you listen to the pod casts they garnished all this info from it makes a lot more sense than this misquoted Ai garbage
