You have to turn right with traffic and jump 2 lanes, usually one being a fast lane, within ~300m into a u-turn lane. Which the u-turn lane merges with the opposite directions fast lane. I think they figured cars are a safer, better form of speed deterrent than a roundabout 😂
Omg yeah, right after I got my permit a few years ago I went to visit my mom and I had to exit the freeway, cross 2 lanes to get to the u-turn and then immediately cross another 2 lanes to turn into her neighborhood and legit had a panic attack. It was horrible
TBH, City Skylines feels more like 50% road making, 45% traffic decongestion/optimization, and 5% actual city building. However, I still think it is fun lol
Bro awesome video, really enjoyed it. Just in case you didn't know: Roundabouts work that way. Because the one which is entering the roundabout is coming from your right. What the most people don't notice because almost every roundabout has the red triangle sign which orders to give priority to those who already are in the roundabout. If there's no give priority sign then you've got the right to enter. 😊 - disclaimer: I don't know how it works in other countries, I'm from Austria, that's how it works here.
0:20 As an American living in Europe I agree that the small roundabouts that replace 4-way stops and the larger ones like those that join highway ramps and local routes are great, but the medium sized ones in the city with traffic lights where no one knows when to be in the inner or outer lanes are absolutely horrible (I know they're supposed to be safer; still hate them).

You got me into this game, you got me addicted to this game, and now you got me screaming at you seconds before you end up doing what I'm screaming at you to do. I cannot begin to describe how happy you've made me! 🤣🤣🤣
You should connect houses diagonally more often, there are a lot of road tiles you could've saved
Something I want, MINI MOTORWAYS CREATIVE MODE, Kindof like mini metro.
Dont tell michigan DOT about this magic. "Michigan lefts" where they took out the left turn lanes onto roads.
I love watching people play these games. They’re so relaxing.
Soo I saw the last vidio and thought "that looks like a cool game I think I'll get it" and now Ive completed the game
I need to get a life
Play Cities: Skylines if you havent already. Lets see if you can beat it >:)
I did the same thing and the game annoys me because it doesn’t have stop signs or way to make some roads have right of wau
@@Manofthebaca Mods, my friend.
I play it on ps4 and it hasn't been updated in 7 months... (my laptop crashed when i tried to open it)
@@flowgangsemaudamartoz7062 I have but eventually everything is jut gone horribly wrong
Real Civil Engineer is the type of guy that you still understand if you watch his videos without volume
I have 500+ hours on Cities Skylines, and 50% of that time is just me making roads
This is a game with such a dumb simple concept but it’s so interesting for some reason
I got a quality engineering job yesterday and now I’m celebrating with a new RCE video, perfect.
Congrats fellow engineer!
Now imagine adding crosswalks in this game.
"The blue and the red crashed right there, not ideal"
Mate, perfect level of concern
If you like liked this game you should play “Freeways”. Trust me you’ll love it.
0:20 As an American living in Europe I agree that the small roundabouts that replace 4-way stops and the larger ones like those that join highway ramps and local routes are great, but the medium sized ones in the city with traffic lights where no one knows when to be in the inner or outer lanes are absolutely horrible (I know they're supposed to be safer; still hate them).
try to get number one on the least played map
YESSSS PLEASE KEEP MAKING THESE VIDEOS
I watched some mini metro after this video and really wanted more from you
MORE!, MORE!!!, mMMMMOOOOOORRRRREEEEE!!!!!!!!
Not an engineer nor interested on that field but I kinda appreciate now how you guys see things.
"These white guys build their houses pretty quick"
Someone in past America
lmao
And sadly, someone in present-day America.
this is the only channel that I can't criticize for putting "noob vs engineer" on the thumbnail because it literally isn't clickbait lol

Now this is a true engineer right here!
This was great, got complicated so quickly great watch
Watching Biffa fix cities with roundabouts and traffic manager in cities skylines proves they’re better.
The intro is hilarious to me, because I live in LA and a block from my place is like the only roundabout that I know of in LA.
For some reason, its really satisfying
you should TOTALLY do more of this!
