I'm still shopping for a light pad. I like the way this Cricut pad plugs in sideways. People commented on other videos that theirs keeps getting unplugged. I am a beading artist and sure like the way you can put beads on top. I like to store my projects like a kit, so really want that zipper case. Thank you so much.
The bright pad fits perfectly in the Cricut rolling tote in the zippered compartment in the front where some people put tablets. I put my cord in the one Velcro case and the weeding tool set in the other.
Got the Bright Pad for Christmas from my sister. I couldn't resist getting the cutting mats for me and my sisters. I love it! Thanks for the info. I also had to have sleeve in teal.
Just stumbled on your video and I'm happy I did. I like your idea about the self-healing mat and stamping, so I'm picking one up tonight. It's only $5.81 now. I also discovered that the Brightpad fits conveniently in the slot of my new Maker and can be plugged into the USB power source. This will be handy when i'm cutting vinyl projects.
My self-healing mat just arrived. I just HAD to come back here and tell you how much I appreciate that suggestion! It's thick and perfectly sized. A terrific addition to my craft room. Because of the price, I highly resisted purchasing the Brightpad. NO REGRETS. I reach for it time and time again, and not just for crafting reasons!
No thanks. It's been out of stock for awhile now and I, along with others that I know wanted it have decided to go with the huion super thin light pad. It's looks to be better anyway and it's cheaper. This ones great, I've seen it in person but I don't wanna wait anymore! Lol
OMG so I had purchased the bright pad almost a month ago and I feel like I don’t really need it. I’m thinking on returning it tomorrow, but now after seeing this video I really don’t know if I should just stay with it 😩 plus thinking that I only paid like $50 for it 🤔😩
Angelina C. All I can say is I do use mine quite a bit. And it works even better with the Cricut Premium Vinyl - Permanent and Removeable since it now has a plastic backing instead of paper backing. Plus it’s easier to weed the Iron On.

Most informative video on the Bright Pad yet. So informative. Thank you!
Very nice review, Debbie. Now I'm thinking I HAVE to have one :-) I also appreciate the info on the cutting mat and zipper case. Thanks for video!

Great video and I'm so glad you put that self healing mat in there as well, so helpful! Omg that pink case I need as well!💕 thank you
So it is not rechargeable? BJs Wholesale sells a thin light pad doing exactly the same for under $20 dollars
Gee again for the 2nd time tonight. This was a good video with great extras suggested! Thanks.
Super review. I did get a bright pad. Thank you for the wonderful review. Wishing you a super week. Hugs Susan
If you have an ipad especially a large pro, you already have a light pad, with free lightbox tracing app. Plus it’s cordless! :P
Leanne Bandte I wouldn’t recommend weeding vinyl on top of an iPad. You are likely to scratch your screen with the weeding tool.
Debbie ONeal Not if you place a sheet of glass or perspex down on it! ;)
I don’t think I struggle with cords as much as other people
Can you also charge this through your iPad
What is the size of your neoprene sleeve zipper case?
The bright pad can also be plugged into the side of the cricut explorer

You did awesome !
Thank you
NICE DEMONSTRATION CAN YOU USE THIS ON POSTERBOARD AND STILL SEE IT WHITE OR EVEN COLORED COULD YOU EMAIL ME THANKS
Is there any way to make this cordless? Thanks, I love the cutting mat and case!
Plug the usb cord into a battery pack to make it portable.
Is it necessary to put a screen protector on it
Gina Wiggins no it doesn’t need a screen protector at all
But it's a nice addition. 😁
Yes, I need this.
