I just started following this dude..looks like he definitely understands measurements/ air space basket displacement..MOST OF ALL HE INCORPORATED specs in his own design..definitely has the NAPA KNOW HOW!!! as always precision slim/line build
I sent him a video and pics of my components and space, he replied with damn near exact measurements and which box would work. That said, my box is on its way.
The amount of control they have in this setup is beautiful. Nothing sloppy with the bass kicks!!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The man knows his stuff! Video after video he proves it. He helped me with my set up and the Q class 8s I have beat my truck to death! People always bitching about kicker this and kicker can't do this or that. Well their attitude changes when they hear that MBE set up. Like the man said put same respect on his name. Back in the day I always say that 8 ,10 will gett low than 12 ,15 in the Right box but you need 2 or more an it don't take a big amp just my big O.

bruh this car aufio shop in texas makes some nice looking boxes then i saw he has 2 circle ports on opposite sides of the box in a underseat box does that even work? he said it makes it sound louder haha
It depends if he actually has knowledge on subwoofer enclosures or if he's just a run of the mill salesman trying to pass off a substandard enclosure to newbies to car audio for 100s of dollars more then a enclosure built by someone who actually knows the technical side of the enclosure, what hz is it turned to, how many cubic feet is it and what subwoofer would best suit the enclosure. Also someone that actually built the box, what kind of wood, mdf, birch? What kind of internal bracing was used, double baffle. Sure ported can be loud but it depends on what kind of music you listen to, rap hip-hop dj/house, low bass. Or if you listen to rock n roll, metal, country you would want to probably go sealed. I don't know every thing about car audio, but I was young and spent alot of hard earned money at a car audio shop and was taken advantage of. So I did my research and learned so I will never have to trust a salesmans word to sell me a product so he can boost his number. Sorry for the lengthy comment. Just hate it when local shady car audio shops give nonsense short answers like "ports make it loud" without actually explaining why exactly it could make it louder and if it is the right sound that would suit your needs

Realistically you’d be falling off around 26hz at which point your cone control is lost. Not a lot of music at 26hz. Unless you listen to decaf lol
So 26hz to what ever you set your LPF to 80-150hz depending on your set up and preferences.
