Dear brother Todd, when I first listen to you, many years back, I hesitated….Wretched was so different from what I was used to. Now I’m so thankful I decided to put you to the test of the Scriptures and that the spirit of God helped me to listen without condemnation and prejudice, for you have been such a blessing and influence in helping me understand so many topics, such as the war in Israel. May the Lord Jesus keep blessing your ministry, so you can keep blessing others.❤
This is my first time listening and I am listening with a wise and discerning heart... I try to remove my self emotionally from the situation and look at it as an outsider looking in and I look for consistency, sincerity, and read body language... I know that I dont trust any mainstream media. I would hope that I was guided here not by mistake. I feel like things are revealed to me in its proper time. I've known things before it was made known socially, by the discernment and wisdom granted to me by something higher than me. It seems to me we truly are at at precipice in this time. I know that it's all already written and we are all just visitors....
Hmm, Palestine is israel. It was simply renamed by a Roman emperor that hated the Jews. So he chose the name of their long-time enemy, the philistines. If you meant we should be praying that all sides come to faith in Christ, I sure agree with that!
You can believe that God has a future plan for many Israelites to come to faith - a revival in Israel - and still adhere to the understanding that there ARE NOT TWO DISTINCT PEOPLE OF GOD. We are all one in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek... This is where most if not all of your quoted men ofGod were coming from.
@@geordiewishart1683 no one with any seriousness would suggest that this is denying human sexuality and gender. Neither does it deny that there are different roles for men and women in the world. Kudos to Todd for while holding to his own belief, not throwing shade towards the other side. I always learn something from Todd's videos and I appreciate Wretched for explaining these hard to understand concepts in an easy to understand way.
To me, the fact he spent a good minute and a half referencing well-known believers who held to his line of interpretation in this debacle tells me that he was discounting the other side. It felt almost boastful in his interpretation. I believe God has a future plan for Israel specifically before the Millennial reign, but the constant reminding us of believers who agree with him didn't sit right for me.

I am a follower of Christ. During this and any war between anyone needs prayer on both sides. The Bible says pray for peace in Jerusalem, yes and not just in times of war but always. The Bible also says to pray for your enemies and love thy neighbor as you love thyself. I stand with GOD and I pray for the world and peace in the world not just one or any specific nation. Stand with GOD, pray for the world. Peace, grace and HIS mercy.
I get what you’re trying to say brother. But remember, apart from Christ there is no peace. And anything apart from Christ that seems to have peace is only perceived; It isn’t real. This is why we must proclaim the gospel to all the nations. This is why, witnessing, and sharing our faith is so important. Yes, we are to pray for the will of God to be done on a daily basis. But we must also obey Him & follow His commands and He tells us to first disciple our families, our wives, & our children. And all throughout our communities.
@@Apostle734 Show me the scripture where Jesus says to discipline the communities? I don't want to hear from Solomon in proverbs; just Jesus. The redemption and re-gathering of the Jews back to the promised land starts in unbelief, but will end in belief and their trust in Jesus, who they will come to believe as their long awaited Messiah. God made a promise to Israel as his children. He always keeps his promise.
God made promises to, and about, the literal seed and descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But are their descendants to be found in modern Jewry? Jew is a clumsy word. When you see that word in the bible, it can either mean a true Israelite, a true Judahite, someone from the Roman province of Judea regardless of race and ethnicity, or a follower of Judaism. Secular and biblical history tells us that Judah was taken into captivity and exile by Babylon. Whilst there, they race mixed and their Hebrew faith became corrupted into what today is known as Judaism. It was in Babylon that the Talmud began. Judah, along with her now mixed throng of people, and her corrupted religion, returned to where her kingdom had been. Between the testaments, Maccabee leader John Hyrcanus forcibly converted Edomites to practice Judaism and they became Jews. Edomites are descended from Esau and were to be enemies of true Israel. In Jesus time, the ruling class such as King Herod, and the Pharisees were Edomites. No wonder Jesus argued with them and said they didn't listen to him as they were not of his flock. Later, the Asiatic Khazar kingdom converted en masse to Judaism. So now we have many Jews claiming land promised to the descendants of Jacob Israel but who themselves are not so descended. Their only claim is to practice a religion which is a corruption of the faith of Moses. So be careful about who you support in the middle East, and why.
Where does the Bible say your first paragraph? Do you even know history well enough to track who actually live in Israel now? Do you realize that the Genesis 12:7 promise to Abraham was made to Christ as the single seed of the heir of the promise, as Galatians 3:16 says? And by extension, Christians, as Galatians 3:29 says? Christians have a right to the land. The land is 98% judaist, atheist, and muslim. Those there now do most certainly NOT have a right to the land, despite what their geneology says, as 1 Timothy 1:4 explains to avoid meaningless geneologies [because the new covenant is here], as it was about geneologies before the new covenant. Shed this false zionist belief that is pervading Christianity, seek the truth.
@@astronacht "Where does the bible say your first paragraph?" In Zechariah 10. It speaks of the scattering of the Jews amongst the nations, and their regathering. Also in Jeremiah 29 which again is another prophecy of the scattering and re-gathering of the Jews. Finally in Romans 11: 11-32 which talks about the differences between the Jews and the Gentile believers - that the Gentiles have been grafted into the Kingdom of God through Christ, and that Israel has had their hearts hardened against God. In the last days they will be redeemed. You say it is a false zionist belief, but it is not false whatsoever. The fact that biblical prophecy about the Jews is unfolding before our very eyes shows that the scriptures which speak of their regathering are very much applicable to Israel of today, proving God's promise to them still stands. 28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[h] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
@@astronacht To add onto Romans 11 - it is important to read the full passage in context to understand that Paul is making a distinction between the "natural branches" (the Jews) and the "wild branches" which are grafted in - the gentile Christians. Romans 11 goes on to say that the "natural branches" are cut off for their unbelief, and the wild branches are grafted in instead. This is the description of the unbelief of the Jews and the belief of the Christians. The idea you have is replacement theology, the idea that Christians have "replaced" the Jews as the children of God, and the heirs to the promise. But this is a false theology, we haven't replaced the Jews, we have been "grafted in" as His people, but the Jews themselves have been cut off - *for a time* and will be brought back to repentance and belief in the Messiah towards the end of days as it says in Romans 11: 21 - 24 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. 22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
Amen! Thank you for this rightly divided explanation offered with love. God always keeps his promises. My heart is broken for Israel, but I take comfort in knowing that God will restore Israel as promised.
I would be careful with any point of view espoused from @Wretched as the problem with Todd is he believes in cessation which is an incorrect reading of scripture.
Read the Bible. What is Israel? I guarantee it's not these liars. Calling themselves Israel. They're the spiritual descendants of the Jews of Jesus' day. I'll give you that.
@@Netgazum They got their own version of reverse replacement theology. Which was prepared in the 19th century and kicked off since the middle of the 20th. People still looking for a carnal chosen people. Ignoring that it is the spiritual one that matters.
A complicated subject indeed, but I think the New Testament is pretty explicit that Christ and his Church (comprised of Jewish and Gentile believers) is the true Israel of God, not one particular ethnicity or nationality of people (Ephesian 2:15-16, 1 Peter 2:9-10), and that "Christians" (Jews or Gentiles who repent and trust in Christ alone for forgiveness) are the true sons of Abraham who inherit (through faith, not ethnicity) all the promises that God proclaimed to Abraham (Galatians 3:7-9). So the issue isn't how God "transferred" the promises to the Church, but how God revealed, in Christ, who the promises were truly meant for to begin with.
There is still a plan for Israel, whether that is a plan that is good towards us or a plan that will cause hostilities towards us. We cannot be for sure whether Israel will become a good nation or not. If God did not have a plan for Israel, it would not need to be rebuilt.
The return of Lord Jesus Christ will be in Israel in Jerusalem and not in San Francisco Ca., He will have His Throne set up in Jerusalem, Israel for the 1000 years.
Dear Mr. Friel, this should be the first in a series of reflections on the topic. This was a superb introduction! Maybe a couple more videos exploring how God still has a plan for Israel and how Israel as a nation has been a blessing and a light to all nations?
Thank you for stating all this. I'm of the belief that Israel's standing and purpose has not changed and they still have a role to fill in these last days. The Church has it's own purpose but the Church age is quickly coming to a close.
Yes! Paul, in his letter to the Romans, warned us not to be arrogant towards Israel but instead fear in how they have been hardened partially for our sake. And definitely still a part of God's plan for after the full number of the Gentiles come in so will all Israel be saved and then comes the resurrection from the dead!
Amein! i don't think replacement theology is right. i do think all nations have been blessed by Christ though and that fulfills that promise but i do believe he will bring Israel to himself. i attend a messianic Jewish congregation and to see Jewish believers in Jesus with gentile believers praising YHWH is truly beautiful
Attention all believers, please read Roman's 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Todd, thank you, thank you, thank you for this most balanced, loving, and careful discussion of the two (generally speaking) "camps," and the need to truly consider that there is indeed something larger going on in Israel right now (though we may only see through that glass dimly, too). I am a Jewish Christian, so I don't excuse the fact that my heart is breaking very much for my "kinsmen according to the flesh" right now. But regardless of that, it has truly saddened (and, I'll admit, angered) me to see and hear of some responses from those who claim faith in the Jewish Messiah either being dismissive and downright hateful in their response to the plight of Israel and her murdered ones or seeing this as an opportunity to "dunk" on those "dastardly dispensationalists." Would that God would grant more voices like your own on this issue. I thank you and love you, my brother, and pray that the bloodshed stops and that the Gospel of Christ is made all the more clear to Jews and Arabs in the land, even now, for this indeed remains the only true hope and peace, for He is the Prince of both!
Absolutely - I think God’s love of Israel and His perseverance every time despite their falling away is enough to reveal the Lord’s heart for them. He has always sought their eventual redemption and we have a God who is unchanging and ultimately will continue to do so as prophesied.
That happened until the NT when every man on the planet was called to believe. We see no mention of that in the NT. The new covenant is here; the old waned and waxed away. The difference is, after the crucifixion, every Christian was made part of the promise. This is so obvious in scripture to figure out if you look objectively.
Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, or lusted (which Jesus said was adultery, Mt. 5:28)? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and adulterer at heart. If you die in your sins, you will end up in a terrible place called Hell. But there's good news. Though we broke God's Law, Jesus paid the fine by dying on the cross: "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (Jn. 3:16). Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Please, today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life (Eph. 2:8,9). Then, to show your gratitude, read the Bible daily and obey it, join a Christian church, and be baptized. Dont mind me im just sharing the gospel
I met someone who was pastoring Palestinian Christians. His stories are heart wrenching and sobering about how even the Christian world has forsaken them. Taking binary stance of whose side are we on serves no purpose here. Should we be for Israel? Should we be against Palestinians? Even the captain of the Army of the Lord would not take a stand when asked by Joshua. Some might say, they are standing with God, and that could be presumptuous. Would God not love even those who slayed his son? If anyone insist the enemies are beyond redemption, then so is everyone else. Historically, wars against ancient Israel typically signifies judgment from God to turn her heart back to Him. The manner Israel treated Palestinians is not exactly the most honorable even taking the most optimistic observations.

Be not highminded, but fear: 21For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 23And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again….
I'm just glad to be a part of the end times, as the Bible says Luke 21:28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
If you are in Christ, you will be looking down to see the fulfillment of those words of Jesus. Jesus said these words to the remaining Jews at the end of the Great Tribulation. When Israel looks up to see their redemption coming, They will see Christ coming in the clouds followed by Myriads of Angels and the multitudes of Saints. We will be coming with our Lord in Glory to witness the redemption of the Remnant of Israel! Oh what a Glorious Day that will be!!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful prophecy!
@@clayweir9020my friend, if you read Matt 24:29-31 I think you will agree that this is describing what you are writing about. But notice in verse 31 there is a “loud trumpet call”. Now consider the words of Paul to the Corinthians in 1 Cor 15:50-54 which describes the rapture of the saints and notice that this happens at “THE LAST trumpet”. Scripture does not lie, but we so often misread it.
@@toolegittoquit_001 I reject your premise and your position completely. Jesus was not allegorizing or telling a parable here. This is prophecy of His return. Scripture interprets Scripture. If you want the Old Testament interpretation, it is found in Zechariah 14 starting in verse 1. What a grave error it is to allegorize the Return of Christ which is echoed all throughout His Word.
Thank you Brother Todd for this thought provoking video. I do not fully comprehend all the terms but I do believe that Israel has been set apart by God and we too have been set apart. Thus, whatever is happening, it's all God's plan. I live in Singapore and so many Christians in my country think it's the sign of end times. Genesis 12:7 KJV [7] And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him. Galatians 3:16 KJV [16] Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Christ owns the land, not the jews. And Christians of every ethnicity by extension. As the olive tree parable explains, Gentiles were grafted to the olive tree that is Christ; there are Jewish and gentile Christians the promise was made to, no judaist is a part of any promise anywhere, there is no plan for them except to come to Christ to avoid being one of the broken off branches. IT WAS NEVER ABOUT GENEOLOGY. 1 Timothy 1:4 KJV [4] neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. Hamas was created by MOSSAD intelligence after they removed the legitimate resistance in the 80s, the PLO, out of power, to have a puppet boogeyman as part of hegelian dialectic in order to justify illegal land expansion in public opinion, in the exact same way the CIA created AL Qaeda and ISIS to justify invading the middle east for their goals [also hegelian dialectic, Google the term if you don't know what it means]. You all in the comments section aren’t realizing he didn’t actually explain his reasoning for his position. I wish he would’ve gone through scripture to explain this better. I really appreciate this video. I have tried to seek knowledge all week about how to feel and discern these events. Most appreciative of the charity and tone provided by Todd towards those that may have other views.
As a Christian, reaching out to Christ to know how to feel and discern these events would have been proper rather than looking to some flesh and blood instruction on YT. Won't Jesus be faithful to instruct through His Spirit as He promised?
I’m so glad you said that, “our hearts should be broken for Israel.” Mine definitely is. They are the apple of our Father’s eye. Why would it not break our hearts? I’ve had someone look at me as if I’m crazy when I said “it breaks my heart.” It feels so good to see other Christians broken over this.
Galations 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. It seems to me thst scripture doesn't remove Israel but rather adds the followers of Christ to the fold. Israel is still relevant and nowhere does the Bible do away with God's promises to them.

Romans 11. It's pretty much all you need to understand. Israel is under a partial hardening, and tho cut off will be grafted back in to their own Olive tree.
How many millennium do you think that would take? Especially considering modern day state of Israel is a false Israel established by the evil rothschild banking family as the balfour declaration clearly says.
The nation we call Israel today is as far astray from God as they were under King Ahab or any of the other bad Kings. To claim Israel is blessed no matter how deeply they fall into sin places one in the same place as the 300 false Prophets who assured Ahab God was on his side.
They are still blessed because they still have the promise of God to redeem them. But you are right that Israel is just as hardened today as it has ever been. And God is not redeeming them for their sake, for they a wretched, adulterous people. “For My own sake, for My own sake, I will act; For how can My name be profaned? And My glory I will not give to another.” Isaiah 48:11 NASB1995 “Then you will know that I am the Lord when I have dealt with you for My name’s sake, not according to your evil ways or according to your corrupt deeds, O house of Israel,” declares the Lord God.’ ”” Ezekiel 20:44 NASB1995 “According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I dealt with them, and I hid My face from them.” ’ ” Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name. There is a difference in believing a revival under the Jews than believing in a “plan” for Israel as a nation à lá the Old Testament. I hear of this “plan” for Isreal but nobody says what it is. I personally also believe and pray for a revival amongst them.
Jacob’s Trouble, The Great Tribulation. The Hour of Testing All refer to the plan for God to redeem the Remnant of Israel (there’s always a remnant) from the Wrath that is to come. “In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice.” Romans 11:5 NASB1995 “What then? A supersessionist would have to say that it was completely coincidence that Israel exists today... to which I would say "God doesn't believe in coincidences."
No one says it's a coincidence. It's part of a long history of political planning by Jews in Europe. You can look at the history of the Zionist movement and see how they got the support of the British government to begin settlement. You can see that the British government told the Arabs that it wouldn't happen, and then did it anyway. It's all politics, not prophecy. The returns to Israel mentioned in the Old Testament already happened. Ezekiel's message was for the Jews of his time, who were in captivity in Babylon. It has nothing to do with modern Jews.
How long shall the wicked, O LORD, How long shall the wicked exult? They pour forth words, they speak arrogantly; All who do wickedness vaunt themselves. They crush Your people, O LORD, And afflict Your heritage. They slay the widow and the stranger And murder the orphans. They have said, “The LORD does not see, Nor does the God of Jacob pay heed.” - Psalm 94:3-7 For the LORD will not abandon His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance. For judgment will again be righteous, And all the upright in heart will follow it. Who will stand up for me against evildoers? Who will take his stand for me against those who do wickedness? - Psalm 94:14-16
The idea that Jewish people would eventually accept Christ is not new. The idea that there is salvation without Christ in the nation of Israel is a modern idea, and I would argue not a Christian one.

God's will be done .. his promises stand .. as does his judgement .. I pray for the people of Israel, that God will be as merciful in his actions as is possible for him.
Abraham wasn't a "Jew", he was pagan, was called out by the Father from the land of UR (of the Chaldees). A Jew by genetics is of the Tribe of Judah, 1 of 12 tribes that made up the people called Israel. The promised land was promised to Abram and his offspring, not the "Jews", and the Renewed Covenant ("New Testament") states that all who believe in and obey Messiah's commandments are grafted in to the natural branch (Israel). "Israel of Yah".
Everything was so well explained. I also believe that God has a plan with Isreal, and it surely will come to pass. It isn't always easy to understand these things in the Bible, but we should not be fighting over them as Christians. ❤
Never? I'd encourage you to go back and read Exodus and Joshua. There was an incredibly strong command to maintain rigid ethnicity among the Jewish people. There were really good reasons for this and it ties back to spiritual reasons. But, regardless of the reasons, there was absolutely a call to maintain Israel as a people that were ethnically Jewish/Hebrew. At least, early on. Obviously, this was not followed 100%, same as the other commands of God. Sometimes, at great consequence to the nation. Other times, it was divine ... such as the Moabite woman Ruth who would be in the lineage of Jesus.
@@67L48 "There was an incredibly strong command to maintain rigid ethnicity among the Jewish people." Can you share the relevant verses please? Because I read Exodus earlier this year, and the sense I got was that God commanded Israel to be a covenantal nation, not an ethnic nation. Meaning anyone who followed the covenant could become an Israelite and worship the Lord. Exodus 12:38: "And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle."
Either God is a covenant keeping God or He isn't. His covenant with Israel is an everlasting covenant. If God can break His covenant to Israel then He can break His covenant with us.
44But despite all this, while they are in the land of their enemies, I will not despise them nor will I reject them to annihilate them, thereby breaking My covenant that is with them, for I am the Lord their God.45I will remember for them the covenant [made with] the ancestors, whom I took out from the land of Egypt before the eyes of the nations, to be a God to them. I am the Lord. Leviticus 26:44-45
God's covenant with them was everlasting... as long as they KEPT IT! That's the problem people make when they don't read what the text actually says by taking things out of context. The covenant was never unconditional.

There's soooo much to learn in the Bible. I was trying to go deeper into other subjects and put off end times as it seemed hopelessly complex with all perspectives. Then, when covid hit (2020), I suddenly found I had lots of time to research, and learn from solid Bible Teachers... all of whom taught pre trib rapture and dispensations (which was a HUGE help in being able to sort everything out!) By the Holy Spirit, it eventually all began to make perfect sense. God WANTS us to know so we won't be afraid and so that we'll know what's coming and thus be prepared. Paul taught in Romans 11 the true Israel is the church, Jew and Gentile. God's chosen people began before national ethnic Israel with Abraham, as Paul explains in Romans. Moreover, ethnicity has nothing to do with it, but is by election of God as Jacob was chosen, not Esau, according to God. Also, God destroyed the 10 northern tribes, then in 70 AD finished off the southern tribes, establishing the church as the people of God, those by faith in Christ... period. There is no supersessionism, as Paul proves in himself, an ethnic Jew that is found in Christ, again, Romans. Lastly, Joshua has God completing the land promise. Joshua 11, "So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD had spoken to Moses. And Joshua gave it for an inheritance to Israel according to their tribal allotments. And the land had rest from war." Thank God.
@TheBanjoShowOfficial Fair enough, he scattered them and they became as the Gentiles. I will bring them back to this place, and I will make them dwell in safety. 38And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. 39I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their own good and the good of their children after them. 40I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me. Jesus brought the covenant.
This is what and why our Lord gave the teaching of the wise and foolish virgins. By the way, many of these topics are NOT complicated and hard. Much understanding is gained through the plain reading of the text! Maranatha!
“Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty. “Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel. “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”
Modern day Israel is not the chosen people of God, the church is. Believers are a holy nation unto God, people from every nation, tongue, and tribe, redeemed by our Lord Jesus Christ.

The redemption and re-gathering of the Jews back to the promised land starts in unbelief, but will end in belief and their trust in Jesus, who they will come to believe as their long awaited Messiah.
God made a promise to Israel as his children. He always keeps his promise.
Exactly and Our God keeps his promises🙏🏻. Cuz hes not like man that he changes his mind.
@@astronacht "Where does the bible say your first paragraph?"
In Zechariah 10.
But this is a false theology, we haven't replaced the Jews, we have been "grafted in" as His people, but the Jews themselves have been cut off - *for a time* and will be brought back to repentance and belief in the Messiah towards the end of days as it says in Romans 11: 21 - 24
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Perhaps your most provocative and interesting post up in a while and I LOVED the "dictionary" pauses fwiw....gold.

Prayers for the children on both sides. ❤
Great presentation of the different positions that has helped quite a few brothers and sisters understand them!

Scripture does not lie, but we so often misread it.

What a grave error it is to allegorize the Return of Christ which is echoed all throughout His Word.

There is a difference in believing a revival under the Jews than believing in a “plan” for Israel as a nation à lá the Old Testament. I hear of this “plan” for Isreal but nobody says what it is.
I personally also believe and pray for a revival amongst them.
That's what I believe.
It's called the 7 year Tribulation.

All refer to the plan for God to redeem the Remnant of Israel (there’s always a remnant) from the Wrath that is to come.

I think it's important to realize that both 'sides' comprise Christians...

Very true.
@@67L48 "There was an incredibly strong command to maintain rigid ethnicity among the Jewish people."
Can you share the relevant verses please? Because I read Exodus earlier this year, and the sense I got was that God commanded Israel to be a covenantal nation, not an ethnic nation. Meaning anyone who followed the covenant could become an Israelite and worship the Lord.
Exodus 12:38: "And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle."
You are 100% wrong.
The question is: Who is Israel? All Jews? People who live in the nation of Israel? Practicing Jews (practicing what?). True believers?
Either God is a covenant keeping God or He isn't. His covenant with Israel is an everlasting covenant. If God can break His covenant to Israel then He can break His covenant with us.

And the land had rest from war."

There is no reason God would include atheist and judaist ethnic jews into any promise made to the faithful when they reject Christ. It does not make sense.
