I have to agree. Its a wonderful album. It has all the essential ingredients that make British indie rock/pop so appealing. I would love to own it on a quality vinyl reissue and 'Recurrence' also. This band is/was cruelly overlooked and under appreciated. I own the U.S. CD of 'Native Place' and it brings me joy whenever I play it! Superb album.

But I realized this category was strange later. Anyway this sound by Rickenbacker has been still magical and really my treasure till now.

One of the best sounding new wave band of the 80s, made my hs life sweeter and more memorable with my friends...
I think this sound was a best UK band '80-'90. I still really love this band now.
