Hi when I scale two different size rectangle (like your example) it only changes two side of the rectangle to reference line and other sides stay the same. Please explain where I am going wrong.

OMG YOU JUST SAVED MY FINAL HAHAHA thank you so much wherever you are, i hope you get what you deserve in life.
But is there a way to scale a rectangular object? i have road planning assignment due on 6th june and my professor gave me a rectangular unscaled map. so i try to find the coordinate but its just missed a little bit because i scale it using square method. i really appreciate it if you tell me how to scale rectangular object :)
ive tried to scale rectangular by using the specific points diagonally, but the length still miss a bit
