@@NorCalCycling to go along with that, I would love to see you go over where your hips are in-between the saddle and the bars. Like do you want to focus on keeping your hips back to engage more hamstring and glute, or the body way forward over the bars to perhaps get lower but be more quad dominant as a consequence. 30 to 42 rims are probably ideal. aero drag is dominant over resistance drag after 16 km/hr. Yeah, I hate disc brakes too, Jeff. They create more rubbing, they're heavier, they're less aero, and their associated parts are more expensive than rim brakes. disc brakes=trash. Absolutely awesome job, Jeff! Your power is a lot better than you think considering the time you were biking and how power becomes exponentially more difficult to crank up as you move up the power bar.

Interestingly my only 3rd place medal is on a big hill right next to my house on my commute to and from work, max grade is 7.2% but the avg is 1.7%. Sometimes I like to imagine what it would be like to take an Orbea Orca Aero M30 or Giant TCR advanced pro disc or CAAD13 up that hill... I had a dream I finally hit Place Order on that Orbea superbike... someday...

would have like to see go-pro video of the climb from your perspective overlaid with power, speed heartrate, numbers. Maybe a map showing where you are. Just like the race footage.
