Love it. Makes me glad I held off getting a 1911 for a while. I think this'll be the one. Loved the glistening slugs flying to the target as a nice bonus. The EPS series looks right at home on that unit too.
Can you use AI to block all of the “They should have made a Staccato style double stack, so I can complain about the cost and never buy one” comments? Thanks. I look forward to seeing the video. 🙌🏾
I don't know if it's the audio mixing or what, but that sounds absolutely beautiful when it fires. This smooth "pwhhhooom" sound 😂. And it looks just as good as it sounds. Hell of a pistol. Best part for me is that I'm in NJ, and our max clips are 10 rounds. So double stack doesn't even matter! Ha! 🫠..... Great video 👍
Funnily enough, I built my custom double stack 1911 off a Para Ordnance frame and reused my Sig slide both because I thought it looked cool and to save a little money. Maybe if someone sells this slide by itself, I may swap out my slide for this.
Just bought this and really like it. Just mounted an sig Romeo X red dot. I love the way it shoots. Only gripe is if you are used to breaking down a simple 9mm the 1911 takes a few minutes to get used to.
I like it but not for 1500. Sig used to he more competitively priced with their 1911s. For 1500 I'll get a stealth arms with all billet internals, tricked out is like 1800. 1800 to 2k you can find a dan wesson. Now if they come out with a stack and half 9mm using their macro mags I'm all in
Looking for a holster that fits the Sig 1911 XFULL Series? I got mine from Galco International, Look for the (CTS212RB. COP 3 SLOT HOLSTER RH BLK) this holster was made for the SIG XFULL Series 1911. I bought my SIG 1911 X series latter part of May and I have enjoyed it. There have been no malfunctions of any type. I have put 300 rounds of all types of ammunition, I’ve used ball ammunition, flat nose, hydra shocks, and hollow points with no problems at all. When it comes to a holster, this one fits perfectly for the Sig 1911 XFULL 45acp, just use some of the Galco leather conditioner inside the holster…it works!
How many rounds do they last for you? I tried to use some and they broke to pieces in a mere 200 or 300 rounds and then bind in my gun and cause malfunctions. So I stopped using them.
There are some that are made of aluminum that are supposed to work like a dead blow hammer and cushion frame impact doing the same thing theoretically……
@@donniesteen4982 Might try out the aluminum ones if they’re a bit more durable. The Shok Buffs I directly ordered from Wilson didn’t last long for my gun either. I imagine they’re better suited for 9mm rather than .45.
I wanna upgrade my 1911 so I want either a muzzle break or compensator but I don't really know the difference or benefits of either. Do any of you have a recommendation?

@@ANRDesignLLC thanks for the reply - idk if you still have the gun , but you can see if it’s series 80 by looking at the inside of the slide and seeing the pin block
9mm and double stack are bad choices tbh - there are very few (I think zero in current production) 1911s in 10mm with both rail and optic cut. The reality is that an all steel 10mm single stack is already rare- let alone with a rail and red dot option. They really should release it in 10mm - would sell well. Heavy 10mm pistols are superior to the mass produced plastic crap (Glock , x-10, MP etc) imo . Anyway, good video.
Be careful with these folks. In proper sig fashion, mine is defective right out of the box. With hammer back and safety on, I get sear movement when trying to press trigger, and when the thumb safety is disengaged, hammer falls to half cocked after doing so. THIS IS NOT NORMAL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Evidence of an improperly fit thumb safety that can lead to more severe problems in the future.
Can’t understand why to reproduce a NON ergonomic grip pistol at 2024 !!! There are so many 1911 replicas out there. There is no need for more actually

2011s are mid.
I don’t see why we can’t have both 🤷🏻
Sig makes cool looking modern shaped 1911’s. I’ve had a tacops forever that looks and runs great

Excellent review on a beautiful 1911. Pricey... Hoping it comes out in 10mm. Peace
Why you prefer 10mm over 45 tho? If shtf, it will be easier to find 45 over 10mm

Wait, are you saying you used an XFull slide on a double stack frame?
@@idontwanttoputmyname403 Well I used the previous Sig 1911 Tacops slide on my Para Ordnance frame custom build.

The 320 cuts on there look like they were meant for that gun

It’s so crazy to watch a .45 bullet leave the muzzle😂. It’s the slowest moving bullet from a handgun

We make holsters for it
Would like to see this in 4.25 commander size.
They are making it. In Sig world they call a Commander a "carry" model
I want one!
I figure I can't complain about the external extractor not being "original to the 1911 design" if I also want an optic cut on it.
I use the Wilson shock buffers…
It helps with hand shock and frame bashing..

You need to order directly from Wilson Combat and get new ones….
I’ve bought them from an lgs and have them be brittle/break quickly too….

When I go to the gun store, "just to look." My wife is gonna know that I've been watching gun porn again.
I just bought this pistol, which option should I pick for that particular holster so I can order one?
we have Quick Ship AIWB available. www.anrkydexholsters.com/product/quick-ship-appendix-with-claw/
Are you going to have a holster for the 1911-X Carry with optic available?
its already available

Hi. Is this a k series foorprint? Did the eps carry fit on there with no issues?
yes
Who needs a red dot when you can watch the bullets trajectory as it leaves the muzzle and it hits the target. lol
Yes this lighting was perfect
The emperor scorpion 1911 is my favorite but i want this one as my next
They need to make one in a 10mm!!!
Nice ! Price ?
On their site!
Needs more spring and 10mm
How does the trigger compare to other 1911s around the same rough price range?
great trigger

neither make a huge difference on 45 ACP standard loads which is subsonic). they are not too effective and can inhibit the functionality of the pistol
