My dad told me that he only has 2 biological children (he has 4). He forgets me and my brother..we are the oldest of his 4 kids..It was very sad to hear him say this! :(
I was heart broken when he first forgotten me. I learned he will forget some of the time. I remind him daily who I am. I’ll ask him what’s your children names. Thanks for sharing your story. God bless 🙏
Just remember there is no menace in forgetting your life. My drandma forgot i existed due to Alzheimer's and dementia. It hurt me, but she was happy so i digress.

All fathers no matter their condition needs an angel in their life thank you ma'am for being that angel in your dads life and he may not remember who you are sometime but when he sees your face and hear your voice he knows whoever you are you love him and he loves you thank you again for being such a great daughter hang in there stay strong love your dad always
That’s so heartbreaking I can’t imagine having this happen to my mom and dad our family or parents that raised us and not knowing who we are it’s like you have to mourn them while they are alive it’s crazy I’m so sorry for your pain and his dementia

My father remembers alot right now but if you tell him something he will ask you about it 5-6 times. He is all the way proud of me and I just go along with it because I get to see the love He has for me. I will always hold him close to me
My father knows he his filmed. He is an entertainer and loves the attention. It also helps others, to heal from this horrible dementia. Sports like boxing, football wrestling etc. is the cause of this sickness. Don’t jump into conclusion with an empty opinion. My father watches his videos.
My dad, passed away on the 31st of March. I miss him so much.. he died from Covid. I have been in the hospital sick from Covid. I have not been able to do a service. Due to my illness.

My dad has hard time hearing and he is half blind from boxing. He is a funny guy too!

On a bad day my husband told me he was glad he never had children...we have 8 combined. It's hard. I know one day he won't remember me.

My father is truly an amazing person. His dementia was caused by boxing. He forgets and at times he remembers. So I do the best to help to remember
Your father is such a nice man, very likeable. I'm sorry he developed dementia. He's lucky to have a wonderful daughter like you, who loves him.
