Hi, I notice the first hose you remove doesn't have a hose clip on it. Is this standard? I'm trying to diagnose a rough idle on my 120i and wondering if that could be the culprit. Thanks
Peter Turley The square corregated hose does not have clip in it, that as far as I am awair is standard. I would check the clip and hose on the one with the jubilee (silver) clip. Check this for air leaks, spraying easystart next to the hose and see if the revs increase could help you find an air leak. Thanks
Alain BMW Hi, I would avoid that, as otherwise you will suck in warmer, less dense air from the engine bay. You will actually lose a little bit of power. Thanks
@@drancyneuftrois3120 this is the same I was thinking about. What if I would like to get stock box away and replace it with custom airbox? What to do with that sensor?
Thnxs good guide!

The car was fine, sold that car a long time ago now.
hey would u know where the fuel filter is?
im trying to find the fuel filter on a 2008 120i e87 and have yet to find it underneather the car..
I am not sure.... but would follow the fuel line to the engine
Is it okay to leave the cover off? So you can hear your airfilter louder?
