  • This is the Absolute Best Way to Clean Up a Lawn that is Full of Sticks, Nuts, and Leaves! Start out with the backpack blower and blow all the leaves away from the house, fence, and driveway. Then take the Wright ZXT with Wright Vac and bag the leaves. Dump the bagged leaves at the curb for the leaf removal truck to come by and suck up the leaves. Run the Umount Blower back and forth over the entire property to blow all sticks, nuts, and leaves to the curb. Pickup all debris and load into the dump trailer. Is this the absolute best way to clean up a lawn full of sticks, nuts, and leaves? Let me know what you guys think!

    Your subscriber down here in South Texas. Always enjoy your content and the heart that provides the meaning behind the hard work. Like another poster mentioned, Cameron, get that dump trailer hooked up to your truck so you can always have that battery charged. I'm 60 and retired and I'd love to move the wife and myself up to Mowssouri and work with you. I'd do it for free. No pay and just great fellowship. You'd have to let me work the heavy equipment, sometimes, though. Your equipment is like a child's dream in the sandbox. All the big Tonka trucks... and more!
    Bless ya, brother, and keep the boundries of the Kingdom well maintained.

    Looked nice a nice day to blow leaves since it wasn't very windy! Very satisfying to see them disappear and expose the grass. I always enjoy your editing and music. Happy new year again!

    Fantastic job on the lawn cleanup! That looked to be a monumental task, but your equipment made quick work of it. Thanks for sharing. Take care and God Bless. 😊

      Thank you!!!! It really makes a difference when you have the right equipment for the job. This would have taken the homeowner a week to clean up. But I think it took me around 7 or 8 hrs, which is still quite a bit! Thanks again for the support! More vids coming...

    I do this for the few yards I mow where I can use the z-turn. We don't have curbside leaf pickup (unless they are bagged) here so I get to take the mulched leaves to a family members house where they use them as gardening mulch. Leaf cleanup here is more than just a Fall job. Being in Savannah with moss growing on most of the trees I have to do a pickup of moss before mowing. I generally use a pitchfork for that work. Thanks for the video.

    I have see. In many cities that the municipality does roadside leaf collection using vacuum trucks and compost yard. It works well and makes the properties really tidy with a small cost.

    My dump trailer battery died on me on one dump. Scared the crap out of me! I thought it broke and I was going to have to shovel it all out LOL. It would be nice to have a nice setup so that you could have a mower and a leaf trailer combined (that actually holds a decent amount of leaves anyway). Happy New Year Cameron!

    • @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri
      @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri  6 місяців тому +1

      Oh man lol. No way I’m shoveling all of that out. Yeah, that would be the ultimate set up. I wish I didn’t have to come back with another set up to pick up the leaves, but that’s the best option for now. Thanks for watching, Randy! Have a blessed 2024. 🙏

    Hey, a little tip that you might find helpful- when you are shoveling all those sticks and leaves etc all piled together like at the 28 min mark, try using a 5 or better yet, 7 tine pitchfork. Unless the leaves are almost dust, the sticks etc will usually hold them all together and it is far easier to jamb it into the pile than a shovel. It just makes a tough job go a bit easier usually.

    Thanks for the videos, lot of hard work you do and the end result is great! I'm wondering on your leaf trailer if you could run a cable from the frame, over a roller on top then down to a bar hooked to like a wide tarp. So when you tilt the top it'll pull on tarp and raise it, and make it easier to get leaves/debris out? Anyways just a thought! Have a good one!

    • @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri
      @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri  5 місяців тому

      Thank you for watching! I really appreciate that. It's a lot of hard work, but so worth it in the end. Always enjoy seeing the transformation. So satisfying! The dump trailer works really good when the battery is charged up, but they just won't slide out IF you can lift the trailer all the way up. Lesson learned...keep battery charged haha. Thanks again for watching and commenting. Have a great day!

    I’m not sure how moving leaves 3 times is very efficient. I’m not knocking your method. I use a DR leaf vacuum trailer and I pull it to the leaves and use a rider to vacuum them up. If the trailer fills up I bring a couple 64 gallon rolling cans that I can dump the trailer out and scoop in the cans and keep working. I’ve tried the blowing it to the curb method but it’s too much work.

    • @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri
      @TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri  6 місяців тому

      So far this has been the most efficient. I know it seems like blowing them to the curb would be quicker, but then it takes way longer to suck them up because the pile goes on forever. I’ve tried it several different ways over the years and I like this way the best. When the wind picks up some of these lawns are a nightmare to get the leaves to the curb. It’s a constant battle. Every job is different though. Thanks for taking time to watch! 👍
