I'm sorry for that experience and wish you the best of luck. My last three corporate jobs were kind of a disappointment, too. I was motivated once but in last few months I realized that I should give up on classic 'career' within the realm of IT, processes and projects, anyway. There're often just too many people who do not want to be progressive and productive at all. I'll need to find something that just makes more sense to give my time and energy for.
I left the corporate world five years (and four days) ago. I too was living in my car at the time. I think I know what you are saying (and trying not to say). I wish I could sit with you and talk about it... Just know, it gets better. Keep pushing on.
I quit mine too, then i tried another job i was excited about but won't stand being talked down to by my male boss so i quit too! I might become a stripper in my 30s then just invest in stocks because I'm tired of working hard to barely cover bills let's goooo
I just came here out of nowhere. I love your message but I love your cinematic lighting even more. You could talk about boiled eggs and itd still look great. Corporations can be toxic. A CEO could even have the best intention but their underlings ruin all of it.
Its easy to hide behind corporate culture. Just learn the buzzwords and repeat. Most of it is complete BS. You did the right thing, go find out what you are truly about. All the best.
@@RecoveringHermit in the sense that i used chatgpt to write all my mindless corpo emails - yes. I was in digital projects, internal advising, and education tho!
@@one_hot_witch ah ok! You left your job around the same time that all kinds was happening at OpenAI and my crazy mind instantly went to you worked there and have all the gossip haha. I need to go outside and touch grass.
I resigned from my job today and I feel what you mean so deeply. You seem like such a kind person and I wish you all the best in your journey!
Thanks friend, we got this 💗
