his video gives the accurate visual represantation on what we see on the actual flashlight.
Just a perfect demonstration of the lights capabilities, and the music...so fine!!
I just love the way Banggood tells you they are out of stock AFTER YOU PAY!!!
i bought the Astrolux EC01 trim one of your vids. though almost always an olight buyer
I really wanted the lightning mode. the EC01 is a great light for many reasons, but I bought
to help me relax and sleep. I put on a thunderstorms audio and put the Astrolux in the
lightning mode and for me it's extremely relaxing. now I think I'll get this one for my backpack.
Thanks for your review. Bought similar Mateminco MT04 with 5700k xhp50 (which is quite warm, looks like 4500-5000k). This flashlight is trully amazing. Great output from a pocket-sized body.
Got my one in xhp yesterday and its epic
Amazing floodlight!
Hello Matt. One thing that I did forget to mention is that, my EA01S came with the longer battery tube complete, with the longer 26800 battery. Thus far I haven't been able to find a standalone charger for said battery. It takes bloody ages to charge up via the USB C connector within the flashlight itself. I'd like to find a charger and then I'd buy another 26800 battery for a spare. Even though this is the second time I've viewed this video, I still enjoyed it along with the score. Cheers mate 👍.
I've never even considered that come to think of it!
Brilliant review! Was stuck between this and the MS03. For more than half the price this is a no brainer. Currently have the IF25a which is great but isn't quite performing to what I need but love the anduril. The different battery configurations on this look perfect. Thanks so much for the code just saved me £15 off my order!
Yup. Don't get the buggy MS03.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV could you elaborate on how is MS03 buggy, exactly?
@@vyyw Red light comes on when using Turbo which means you have to manually break the connection to utilise turbo again. There is no fix.
Just bought the XHP50.2 version using coupon. Good saving. Thanks!

I like that you throw in a few other locations for shots. Helps to really show the lights abilities.
Totally agree. Not like Charles who uses only one location for years.

Very good review, compare and video. scary red man in the end of the video👍
Thank you for your video and review. I could buy one at BG successfully. I want to joy it as soon as possible.
So the ft02s now has a little brother. Cool review once more. I ll stay with the big bro though. Sure is more pocketable but i think because the ft02s mass is bigger could be more cooler. Personally i don't have any problem with my ft02s.
Good Job Matt !!
What do you think of this one Versus Ft02S ?

Thanks for you video review...
I have this one great torch
I tested this version today. Ec03 xhp50 with same sort fully charged battery, is a lot brighter!! ??
Oh, God..... This is my next target of flashlight..... I have to buy it.
Thanks for the review.

Always use a 40t as recommended by yourself only issue with charging is my Samsung s9 cable is too fat and doesn't fit properly!
After using a month suddenly my ea01s is not charging . Red indecator is flashing but charging current is zero . Everything works perfectly except charging . What to do please reply .
Please do a comparison video between Astrolux ea01s, Lumintop Fw21 pro, Nightwatch nsx4, Imalent r30c .
Hi Flashaholic, will astrolux ft02s works while charging too? If it works, is there a limitation on the lumens while charging? Thanks so much!
Woah! The step down to 180lm after 2 minutes is just ridiculous. Would like to have seen that in the video btw
I recalibrated it to hold output longer, and it was cooler outside too.

How does the EA01s compare to the MS03. I noticed the beams are very similar. Looks like this light would be a more reliable alternative to the MS03 🤔
you should buy the mateminco mt04(banggood rebrands them from mateminco under Astrolux EA01S), really cool light and as bright as the ms03, and a better UI
I got mine yesterday
when does the coupon expire?
Mr flash guy we need to talk what is the best flashlight with long throw you have ever reviewed that is ip68 21700 and never had any problems with im thinknof acebeam l35 i do have the streamlight 3500 lumen but i need atleast 2000 feet throw
FT03 SST40 is a decent light that can take 21700 or 26650. Pretty big though.

The raw light is a Fireflies E07

Are you sure that by my estimates the lamp was 12,000 lumens with 40t?

Hi Flashaholic, May I know is the 26350 battery 2000 maH can produce the same light output as the 26650 battery 5500maH ?
Should be a little less output.
I have this torch and it is good and I like the ramping method for brightness. Most other features just a novelty that you try once or twice then forget. 11000lm is ambitious though. I had this on full brightness on my wall then put my Fenix LR35R on full which wiped the EA01 with much more intense light. The Fenix is rated at 10000lm and easily is the brightest. Still love the EA01 though.
Did you get the SST40 or XHP 50.2 version?
EA01 is 3500lm, EA01S is 11000lm.
Does the sst40 led use more energy and does the flashlight heat up more compared to the cree xhp50.2 led and why?
Just less efficient design or the fact it handles similar power in a smaller format.
Is there really parasitic drain while the flashlight is off?? Even with the power switch unlighted?
A little. Unless you break the connection
For knowledge what happen if i run a single xhp50.2 on this driver ? In turbo mode specially ?
Should be fine
Shout i get the Astrolux EA01S SST-40 Or the XHP 50.2? The SST-40 variant has more Cd but less Lumens. And the XHP 50.2 has more Lumens and less Cd. Thanks for the help.
I like flood so the 50.2 fof me. Tbh if you don't want to blind passers by and light peoples houses the SST might be better.
This makes me wonder what kind of a portable lantern I could build using a pocket full of led's and the 200A pouch cells I have arriving shortly.
Or a husky maglite style using 3s3p 30a LG HB2's.
Hi,Would you like to be kind enough to explain to me how the Astrolux ea01s returns to factory settings?

How many degrees exactly is the Astrolux ea01s flashlight factory set to?
45C AFAIK
As I'm waiting for one of these to be delivered from Banggood, I thought that I'd have a look at one of your usual excellent reviews. I wasn't disappointed. One thing that would be quite cool is to be able to link lightning mode with a Bluetooth speaker. I think that this would be a brilliant idea. Other modes could also be linked to sound effects and music. Candle mode, which is my favourite, could become quite cosy and or romantic. You know that it seems to occur to me that Astrolux, like some other manufacturers are in competition with themselves. Which is great for us, the buying public. I felt that the E0A1 seemed to have a much better beam presentation with it being better defined. Let me know what you think. Excellent work as always.
Astrolux are great, their only weakness is the beam profile which is never that great.
Can you please compare with sorfin if25a same size pocket but different power
I sold the IF25A as I prefer my IF25. The EMISAR D4V2 is similar powered
Until a few minutes ago I had no idea this light existed. Now I must own one. What is Muggle Mode?
Kid friendly mode. Disables most modes and lowers the output
Thanks for the review. I see that Turbo mode doesn't last long and will eventually drop to a very low 180 lumens, how long can you use it for at level 6 and 7 please?
Hi FLASHAHOLIC... between Astrolux EA01S & Imalent MS03 which one you will recommend... thanks
EA01S by a mile. MS03 was glitchy.

Astrolux Ea01S vs Lumintop Fw21 pro . Which one is brighter and holds higher output for long time ?
This 2 which 1 better choice
Can Astrolux batteries be fast charged with nitecore UMS4?
Can't see why not, charging at 1.5 to 3A can shorten the life of cells though
Is there a 26650 5000mah battery that is closest to the Samsung 21700 40T when measuring lumens? And why is that?
I've not found one.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV These are really big differences in lumen measurement, so it's best to have two Samsung 30T or 40T batteries, one in the flashlight and the other in the pocket for the best results:) :)
@FLASHAHOLIC Is it just me or does this light make the Noctigon K9.3 look like a joke? All of those LEDs and larger size for worse performance. Or does the K9.3 benefit from the comparatively big heatsink?
The K9.3 has another 3000 lumens waiting on another channel of LEDs. An option to have them all on at once for 10,000 lumens would be cool
Can I get a pocket clip for it?
Impressive light! Which one would you prefer, Astrolux EA01S with SST40 or MF01 Mini?

A hell of a flooder but i prefer the EA01 because of throw and all around performance
Hi flashaholic,Could you measure the lumen intensity with the Samsung 21700 30T battery in the Astrolux ea01s flashlight with your KG-lightbox?It is important to me to buy batteries and flashlights.
TBH the room/battery temp can make a 4000 lumens difference with lights like this.
