You're the first bloger who has made thoughtful review of this flashlight. Thanks a lot.
Now THAT is a great flashlight for the price Wow i am impressed. Astrolux is making damn great lights. Thanks alot for the stunning review!
the best reviews for a flashlight
🥂
Another torch I had to order because of your reviews, I hate when that happens, no I don't! That makes 20+ torches already just from your reviews alone. I have the 40T and 30T cells so I ordered the gold G53 26650 Vapcells to try out in the EA01. Now for the long wait for Banggood to deliver it. Another great video FLASHAHOLIC as always! Your my go to You Tuber when I am interested in a new flashlight, you give full stats and distant capabilities which is awesome. Thank you!
I need to get myself a decent 26650, mine are pretty high capacity and knocking on now.
Fantastic review and beautiful music. 👍very good throw👍 and a creepy monster in the end.
i howled at the lady yelling funny as hell
This light offers an awesome overall package : great bang for the buck and also a very good combination of throw and flood. Outstanding UI and countless battery options and you also get decent sustained output as there's only one LED. That all for around 40 €. Crazy.
Subscribed! great content and presentation. Bravo!
Thanks for watching
Interesting to see someone keep a National Lottery kiosk in their back garden.
@3:47
Lol. I keep forgetting it is there and thinking it is an alien robot
The intro is awesome…”put that light down”…lol
Great music and content as always. Feel like I'm playing Golden Sun on the Gameboy advance.
Just received it and loving it!
Great to hear!
A very good review 💚
Flashaholic - you´re the best out there! I have just ordered the SST40 5000K version. I really love the music in your videos - what is it for song in this one? Kind regards
It's from the Witcher 3 OST. Blue mountains I believe it is
I wonder how the SST40 light beam compares to the Convoy M21A beam. Less spill with stronger main beam would be good.
Also, if I set up higher temperature, and stick some heatsink to it (like a memory chip heatsink) would it's turbo run graph look better? :D
I have this one it spreads the light beautifully
Thanks for the review. Really nice light and very similar to Astrolux's MF01 mini. A thrower version of that light with just one emitter instead of seven. I am a bit puzzled by the specs: The SST40m version has a much longer range and almost 50% higher candela intensity than the XHP50.2 version. Yet the XHP50.2 has 50% higher Lumen output. Is that a typo error or can this be explained by a different beam pattern of the 2 emitters?
I just found the answer to my question, now D T A uploaded a beamshot comparison between the 2 emitters in this new EA01 flashlight. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/oR9MmCAwLZI/v-deo.html
Buying this on sale right after I got a emisar a green led dm11. Love this concept of this light. Definitely has its place. Dig the optics that makes a light tunnel.
First, great flashlight video.
Nice flashlight with tir lens👍🏻👍🏻
That EC03 is a monster!
Did you have a chance to compare it to same with the SST-40?
That intro cracked me up lol. Did you seriously got yelled at?
thanks for your videos. It would help if you bring the different LEDs that some flashlights offer to see differences. I plan to order the ea01 and ea01s, which one do you prefer in each one, sst40 or xhp50.2
Xhp but personal preference
Hello, which lamp, in your opinion, is better considering the cost: Astrolux EC01 or EA 01 ? Thanks.
Be nice if you posted the colour temp of the light you reviewed. I can't seem to find it. ✌️
discount code seems to be expired.. do you have a new one?
Good review!
I wonder how this would compare to the FT02S. I'm looking to replace my EC01, which is a phenomenal, budget light. Thing is, I want more throw, but still want the tremendous amount of spill the EC01 provides. The choices (that I've seen) on the budget side would be EC03, FT02S, and now the EA01. Hard to decide! Any thoughts?
Sofrin C8G is what you need! Check it out.
The FT02S would be a substantial upgrade if the beam pattern doesn't bother you. The XHP50.2 version is very floody but at 11,000 lumens it has decent throw circa 500m. I've grown very fond of it. The MF01 Mini is similar in form factor to the EA01 and has a similar range to the FT02S and in my opinion a splendid beam pattern; a fat throwy hotspot yet still a wide spill. I have it in XPL-HI 3B and love the tint. I have the SST40 EC03 and that would also be a more natural upgrade to the EC01 if you want to keep it in the family; it has decent throw (more defined hotspot than the 50.2) and usable spill. The 50.2 produces an even wall of light and probably not what you're looking for.
is the throw on the SST40 version comparable to a lumintop GT mini? would be nice to see a beamshot comparison of those models.
Similar throw, but the EA01 beam will be 4x fatter
If you were to choose between fireflies e01 and the sst40 version of this light, which would it be? Both are basically the same except for the price now. Planning on getting one based on your opinion. Thanks.
I'd get this Fireflies quality can be really hit and miss
Good review!
How about think you klarus xt21x??
I need your personal opinion
Thanks!
Never reviewed it
Which is better Astrolux ea01 or Lumintop X1L?

Hello my friend, and fellow youtubers, I have a doubt: if I use my cel charger (5v 2A) to load my Astrolux Ea01 (5v 1A), is it ok? Or am I taking the risk of burning the internal system of the flashlight? Im currently charging it only in my PC USB Port. Great review, as always!
Should be fine, all my chargers and power banks are over 1A.

Cool 🤗And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
@FLASHAHOLIC, ...hey man, I have been watching a lot of your videos, ...keep up the good work!
...I have been looking around for a little while now, for a flashlight that has a very particular set of features, ...i'm kind of new to this hobby, ...and this whole market is kind of complicated out there, ...because there's a lot of places, and brands to search, and sift through...
...so, I figured that I should just stop making this hard on myself, ...and stop wasting any more of my time, ...and to just go on ahead and ask you, ...because you seem to know alot about all of these flashlights, ...a whole hell of a lot more than pretty much anybody else that I have seen out there so far, ...especially by the way that you test them all out in the same manner, because you always stick to that same format for all of your videos, ...because you know that consistency when testing, is the most important thing!!!
...and so, ...anyway, ...here is my question:
...what is, in your expert opinion, (if it even exists) ...would be the best, and highest quality, flashlight out there, ...that would have all, (or as many as possible) ...all of the following features, ...all contained within just one, compact, EDC flashlight?
1.
...has the ability to function on Nichia, high emitters...
2.
...has the ability to be able to run on the Anduril2 software, ...and use both the simple, and the Advanced UI interface...
3.
...has the ability to be able to easilly update the Anduril2 firmware, with an easily accessible, built-in USB port connection, ...preferably, USB-C...
4.
...has the ability to be able to charge with an easily accessible, built-in charging port, ...preferably, USB-C, ...and, has a High quality, removable battery, ...and, has a battery that's also included with the flashlight...
5.
...has the broadest range of built-in, customizable, different colors, of the whole spectrum? ...for example, it could produce the full spectrum of RGB, violet, purple, ultraviolet, and pretty much, have the capability to produce the full rainbow of all colors...
6.
...has the ability to be able to adjust, alter, and calibrate the white balance, as well as the color temperature, ...each gradually, and completely independent, covering the entire kelvin color spectrum wavelength...
7.
...has the ability to be able to adjust the brightness, intensity, and lumens of each separate RGB, color, hue, and color temperature, all independently, ...all nice, and even, on a gradual, and smooth scale...
8.
...has the ability to be able to combine all of the different features mentioned above, ...all together, ...all simultaneously, ...and, all at once, ...because, this will grant the user an opportunity to instantly have access to a vast array of a complete arsenal, of limitless, unique, and infinite combinations of RGB, violet, purple, ultraviolet, a complete rainbow of colors, ...as well as, independent white balance, color temperature, and the kelvin color spectrum, ...all combined with independent brightness, intensity, and lumens adjustment capabilities, ...would make the total number of all the possible different visual options, ...seemingly endless!

The burning question for this review is where you found those clips of people saying "put that light out!". Or were those actual Vanhalla residents?
A `Dad's army` live performance!
What’s a good EDC thrower with a bit of flood? I’m thinking maybe actually this one?
Yeah, this won't throw far for long though because it starts stepping down pretty quickly. Șofirn C8G might be a better option though it is bigger.
hello Sir , great review like ever 😉
pls , can you see for a valuable discount code for this flashlight but the actual discount code are finish and invalid . Thx in advance :):)👍
Same as Mateminco MT01?
Awesome👍💯.
Astrolux ea 01 vs sofirn sp33 v3?
At 3:20 the on-screen instructions seem "reversed" as you appear hold the button for 0.5 lumen or tap then hold for 5 lumens.
Seems to change every so often.
Great light
Nice vidéo.
Thank you.
So better than ec01 or not ?
Better. More power. More throw....... nicer beam.
Great vid as always! Went to buy but promo code is invalid?

And now they are coming out with the EA01S with 7000 or 11000 lumens depending on emmitter. SST40 or XHP50.2 500 meters throw at 7000 lumens on the SST40, 382 meters and 11000 lumens on the XHP 50.2. How do you suppose they tripled the output with the same emmitters? I will tell you how...they put 4 of them in the same body. That is 4* SST40 or 4* XHP 50.2. How long do you think Turbo will run with that setup before it burns your hand off or cuts back. This is getting crazy. Basically this is the FT02S as far as the led's go, but in the smaller EA01 head.
kok gak ada yang jual second ya
Hey man got a new code?
GREAT REVIEW , WHEN I WENT TO BUY HIM THE COUPON WAS OVER, DO WE HAVE ANOTHER COUPON? THANKS (WHO SHOULD I PREFER SST40 OR XHP50.2 )

Hi sir, KC15 flashlight review
I really appreciate your investment in flashlight research.
I think when you measure the temperatures of a flashlight it will help a lot if you specify what the temperature of the air is where the measurement is made and if the measurement is done in a closed room or in the open air.
Thanks.
Always indoors, no fans. I've started listing the starting temp of the torch body too recently

@@tonylopez2044 Your god damn right but i always resell them. Where i live people never seen nor know anything such as these flashlights, so i usually make good profit even after long use.

This flashlight is so right in its concept, im kinda sick of these flashlights that are just show off hot rods, like, a bunch of high power emmiters draining a poor single cell, senconds of turbo, minutes in high before heating up or draining the single cell...
They aren't flashlights i would like to have at hand for the emergencies i have at work, i would go something like a Fenix pd36r or else even though it isnt the beam pattern i want or tint i like.
Its just the quality i need.
But this one is compact just enough, big cell, single emmiter and it seems to have just the right beam pattern to be useful.
If only Astrolux had a little better quality internally...
Not saying they are bad quality, they are impressive examples of cost/benefit ratio but they could use a little more love.
Their sbt90.2 flashlights are an example of this.
This EA01 is just perfect.
A high cri version of it would be awesome too.
Perhaps I'll get one to uprate its internals or something.
Never understood that seeing how ramping up and down to literally any amount of lumens you want exists. Most people know the turbo is only a feature to use for certain instances. I just dont get how a hot rod and a functional light have a conflict they're the same light in my eyes.
@@noahvannote417 I understand your point, how can a light that can be perfectly ramped up or down be too "hot rodish", all you have to do is use lower power modes right?
Yes and no.
The problem with these kinds of lights is that they are normally designed not only with big emitters but often several of them as tightly packed in the flashlight's body as possible which sacrifices optical capability by alot, which forces you to use them at very high outputs to get an actually useful amount of light past certain distances.
Its just my experience, these floody lights require you to use them at 50% minimum the moment you go outdoors.
When you run a single emitter with a proper reflector you just get a more useful amount of light comparing both running at same levels, which draws alot less currentat the same time.
Like, 50% of a floody quad versus 50% of a single emitter light of same diameter.
Thats my point, these lights are more useful under real use scenarios outdoors.
Dude. I have been a subscriber for a long time. And I absolutely LOVE your channel, but I hope you are not negatively impacting people where/when you shoot your beam shots. We all know how powerful these lights are. I love all my flashlights, however I would hate having someone blasting those beams near my home. FWIW. Like I said. Huge fan, but the lady at the beginning bummed me out. :( Not a way to promote what we love.
It was a sound effect.
Mea culpa. Glad to know. You are very good at what you do;)
don't put a Samsung 30t in this light, it will kill it!
