@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I think I got lucky with the tint on my EC01. No weird colors or artifacts and tint appears to be a bit warmer than the advertised 6500K.
I have both, and actually like the EC01 a little better I think. Except for the head size needed for the 3 led lights they are about the same. The 3500 lumens of the EC01 will run a little longer without getting as hot. 6700 lumens does not appear to be almost twice the lumens to my eyes. I might have been expecting a little more of a wow factor with the extra 3200 lumen turbo output, and it does look brighter, but not to the degree I expected. It does get insanely hot very quickly on turbo, which was expected. I prefer the Sofirn IF25A to either as an every day carry or even the IF25 with its unique adjustable color temperature. All of these are really good EDC option. The EC03 just gets uncomfortably hot so quickly that the turbo can be used for very limited amount of time. If lost in the woods, it will be great to start fires though. The head on this light gets fire starter hot very fast.

Hmm, I'll be buying a few for gifts at $35.99 but if I already had a Mini then I don't think I'd need this one for myself as they are so similar in performance.
That's a great question because I have the EC01 and EC03 and flip flopping on the MF01 mini. I’m trying to understand something - maybe you can help? 6700 Lumens is awesome. But, let’s say I want to use this light for around 1,500 or say 2,000 lumens BUT keep that level stable. Is that possible? I’m confused by all the step-down/ramping these lights do. Just got my EC03 - I bought it on sale for pretty much the same price I bought EC01 two months earlier. Both are amazing flashlights and the only gripe I have with both of them is that the PWM is at 16kHz for the EC01 and at 15.7kHz for the EC03 which makes both of them audible and very annoying to me (though EC03 is much louder while EC01 is barely audible). Also my friends don't hear the sound at all so this is only a problem for people with good hearing :P Anyway I don't know if the frequency is a property of the Anduril UI or flashlight design but I wish it was either pushed past 20kHz so it wasn't audible anymore or lowered to below 10kHz so the sound would be less annoying.

do you know where i can get one with the xhp50.2? everywhere i look i can only get one with an sst40 which is not what I’m after
What is the best 21700 cell you can get for your money at the moment? I need 2 for my EC03. Is 40A enough?
I'd go 40T all day long.
18650 should work right? Just got mine today. Seller i got it from said it only takes 21700
18650 should work
Hi. The twenty dollar code did not work. Thanks william
BGEC03JL still works.
FLASHAHOLICS Thanks. Will try again. This light reminds me of my thrunite ( in looks , size n output),though in a flood version?
Sorry to be a pain in the ass, i got one of these coming any day and will it run of a Samsung 18650 30q or 25r button top or will i need to get a 21700?
It'll run off either. Comes with a spacer. Sammy 40T ftw though
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I'm gonna get a few 40t, thanks once again!!!
Glad they came out with this. I found the EC01 a bit too throwy...
Could you send me please a new discount code for the ASTROLUX EC03 from Banggood?
Which one is better 30t or 40t?
40T for me, slightly less output but far more capacity, 3000mAh vs 4000mAh.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV i don't even need that light as i got k30gt but at that price i can't resist🤣
@@justme19852 I've been thinking about the Acebeam K30-GT for ages but got the Astrolux FT03s followed by MF01S with discounts early this year (I can't deny Astrolux products are great). How wide and useable is the K30-GT spill? Seems a good size torch considering multi-cell. Shame no moonlight. I'm spoiled by Anduril UI too....
@@DrNJPhotography ft03s is great torch, but it way bigger in size then k30gt and runs only on one battery and sbt90.2 is power hungry that's why i got k30gt, runs on 3 18650 batteries, i got samsung 30q. Savage throw and spill. Roughly 500m is very usable and easy to recognise things on field.
@@justme19852 Appreciate that, thanks.
lets say i go for a 30 minute walk, i start off on turbo mode. So after a few minutes its going to go dimmer and dimmer ? Will medium mode keep the same brightness for the full 30 minutes then ?
Max ramp? no.
How many Lumens with sst 40 and xhp50.2
what is the best battery. for this tn lens?
Samsung 40T for all round performance

Your code ‘BGTORCH’ for the batteries is invalid
Can you please recommend a battery for it? As the battery that is the description is discontinued ;-(
I recommend Samsung 40T
Man... Now I wanna play pillars now
Like to buy it ? Is there’s a code or link

What are some flashlights with the latest audril ui?
EC03, Emisar D4V2 Mule, Noctigon KR1. The poor Meote FM1.
Can the coupon be used for that price? Best price I am getting is $44
BGBFJ01
Hi Sir, the coupon code had been expired. Can you give me a new coupon code?
Thanks..
I will buy the green version.
its fashionable
Try BGflashlight
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV
Sorry Sir, its still the expired code.
Astrolux MF 01mini turbo-20 sec?
Astrolux ec03 turbo 7 min?
right?
It's a slow step down over 7 mins.
I always see these relative output graphs, relative to what max ramp lumens?
It's how long high or turbo lasts
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I get its how long, but how bright is 5% for example?
@@jonpaul4935 5 lumens on a 100 lumens light
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Thanks, but is that 5 lumens on a light that claims 100 or that you tested to output 100 lumens on turbo?
@@jonpaul4935 it's a hypothetical 5
It's 5700k or 6500k in this video?
6500K
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thanks
Can u make another one
why offer a new discount code in "seconds" when the first one has ended if your not going to bother? I've been asking you since yesterday.
how to get it,any link🤔

Apparently you cannot use a coupon code for preorder items. Banggood is also charging another shipping fee for the 'free' case. When you are already paying for the shipping for the flashlight itself. Whats worst is you cant remove this 'free' case. Thats basically paying 2x the shipping fee. SMH
Awesome review as always. Seems like the difference in output from the 30T vs 40T is negligible, wonder what was all the big fuss about.
It always is.
Will there be a Performance loss if using High Drain 18650 3500mAh instead of 21700
Massive drop
Astrolux ec03 vs astrolux mf01 mini ?
You didn't watch it all!
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV but which is better than 2?
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I can't really appreciate the difference.
I just subbed. had seen a few of your light reviews and liked your review style and i like the the eclectic assortment of lights. like i mentioned i'm new here and only watched a couple of your vids b4 subbing. so my knowledge of your review style is limited to the few i've seen. on this one i had to mute the audio. i don't know if it was royalty free music or that over 70 exempt music.i apologize if my comment/questions were rude that was not my intent. my taste in music is my own. what i dislike others may adore.but what's of more importance is the actual content and that is very good.
Yeah, it's royalty free music. I would talk but my microphone is a bit keen and people from the US can't understand my accent.
Does it worth the FT03 xhp50.2 if I have this one?
Yes, EC03 is a flooder, FT03 xhp50.2 is a thrower (with 'floody-ish hot spot/larger than the sst40 version0)
Muggle mode does not work on my EC03 or EC01, drops to the minimum in a few seconds. Is there anything for me to do?
Nope, common bug.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Thank you
IMALENT MS03
SOFIRN SP36
ASTROLUX EC03
PLEASE SUGGEST ME BEST
ONE
EC03 for most tasks. Though if you're wanting longer runtimes for a long hike etc then the SP36 as it has higher battery capacity.
Great review ECO3 pisses over the MSO3 😀 at less than half the price and more a top class light well done astrolux and top class review matt 😀💪💪👊👊👍👍
I have one. I have a question about momentary mode. Does it memorize tactical strobe? Sofirn sc31pro can memorize tactical strobe in momentary mode but my ec03 can't. When 5 clicks, it memorizes the last brightness. I just don't know why. Do they have different Anduril? Thanks.
