When i was a teenager id have been oooh no gotta go hugger orange with flames and skulls but now that im older ive come full circle and love the preserved look 1000x more. These cars are a beautiful piece of history and that look says it all. It will only ever look that way once. This might be a weird comparison but my grandmother was born in 1908 and lived 93 amazing years and i cherish the memory of her and how she looked in a way no makeup or plastic surgery could improve lol ❤
Question would the end result have been better or the same if you had went over the body with aa sos pad?? Lightly over with water just to remove some dirt? Then wash and dry them put on the product???? Just. Asking.
Great car and awesome look, I will be getting some for my 53 bel air. As far as going faster in her car change the rear-end gear to a 355.5 and you can run highway speeds.
i want to apply this product to my old patina bug, my problem is someone applied old white house paint that was rolled on in the 70's to preserve the original black, I would like to remove the rolled on white and keep the original paint , any ideas how to do this? the bug is 98% black with a few spots of rolled on paint that is left now. Thanks! nice vid
Thanks! From what I’ve seen, the sheen or satin look will dull down a little over several months time, but will continue to shed water and protect for years to come. With this not being a clear coat/ permanent coating, I’m sure doing this once every year or 2 wouldn’t hurt at all. It took me less than 2 hours and it took me an hour to tape and you can imagine how much time moving and focusing on the camera. Definitely worth every penny on my opinion. I highly recommend the product!!
Looks sick! What a killer patina! Do you know if you whant to restore and paint the car in the future if there will be any problem with the patina sauce? I have heared that linseed oil cause paint issues so i have not put anyting to my patinaride yet 😁
I appreciate it!! From what I understand, this can be removed with an extreme degreaser. This is an oil based product so with that, you do get residual things. But I believe if degreased properly and prepped the correct way, I don’t see anything having much issue with painting on the future.
Linseed oil will make it look like this for about a week. I’ve tried it. But with linseed oil, it will not shed water and won’t last. This has been done for several months now and sits outside and still sheds water with the same nice finish. This is the best product you can use on patina

I’m not sure how to remove the rolled on paint, but I would definitely use this to protect what’s left!!
Sweet car I have the same one ☝️
Thanks!! They’re cool cars for sure!
Looks great just curious on how often you have to do it ?

Hey, it looks.....well.....it's in "junkyard condition"...(so pedestrian)
There's this thing called "paint".
Anybody can paint a classic car. Not everyone can appreciate patina.

What's to appreciate? Black latex with a roller would look better.
Not everybody can paint a classic car. Anybody can let a car rot.
@@frankschwartz7405 to each their own frank. I’ll continue to build 900whp street cars and you can continue wasting money on paint.
