I really did want to like this car, but - at £45k - I’d have expected better; quicker charging, more boot space, and a higher range, amongst others… it’s not doing anything special or overtly competitive for the money! In fact, you’re probably better off getting the Kia Niro for 5 grand less. Shame, and missed opportunity for Honda. Especially after the ‘failure’ and canning of the smaller ‘e’. They needed this to succeed and sell well, and no doubt in it’s home market or amongst Honda fans, it’ll do ok. I just see too much competition for it. Good review though… better than the car’s prospects in the UK itself!
I have a Mazda MX 30 which is great other than range, I am swapping to eNY1 as it seems in UK you can expect 200+ miles so double Mx30 remember it depends how you drive, how much air con you use I don’t like air con much heated seats work. Some tests in cold countries on snowy days still say 200 miles.
What garbage, can we spot the difference? Opinions of people without any real knowledge whatsoever. Did she actually drive this vehicle? Sub heading, "Everything you need to know." I know one thing, don't try to review vehicles it certainly isn't in your remit!
As per comments below, the e:Ny1 does not come with a heat pump as standard, nor is it an optional extra.
The minus paddle increasing the braking effect, the + reduces it. Did you even drive this car?
Great review. Tish mentioned a number of features not covered by other reviewers of this car.
The e:Ny1 is actually a joint venture with Dongfeng a Chinese-government owned car manufacturer
There is no heat pump!
You can’t have a heat pump,p on the e-Ny1. That is why the range goes down to 150 with the a/c or heating on.
No it doesn't, many factors involved here.
Hello....beutifull car....are you sure that thar it has a heating pump??? Not an electric cabine warmer....

Not £45k now..
Ground clearance ? Only 13,5 cm ?
It’s a family car ? And why you never talk about safety features?
Because she has no idea, she should go to work in Lidl or Aldi or some other spurious place.
You have got so much wrong in this review. It 1 star from me.
Does the eny1 have a heat pump?
Why should it? In UK not necessary.
Excellent presenter!
Rubbish, clearly has no idea whatsoever, just a worthless opinion.
The range 😂 competitive with the MX30.
