Before he released the nuclear trailer for mgsv, he tweeted out that artists album. Before he made the GCD mgsv trailer, he tweeted out the artist "Garbage" and their song "not your kind of people." It's clear that the music he is listening to at that time is a great creative muse for him. Just look how much one David Bowie song influenced the entire story for mgsv. When this trailer first came out I felt a huge personal connection to it. At the time My wife and I just experienced our 3rd loss/ miscarriage in attempting to have kids. An emergency surgery on my wife due to a blown out Fallopian tube and a scraped out fetus. I was shattered but numb. Catatonic. Then this trailer came out and I watched it not knowing what to expect since Kojima’s use of imagery. Seeing the newborn laying next to Norman and him picking up the infant gave me some warmth like a long journey for the 2 and they made it. But then the sudden vanishing of the baby welled up my eyes with tears. I was attempting to hold them back. And the camera panning down to reveal his cross like c-section scar on his stomach. The flood gates opened. I felt like life was stolen from me after seeing the trailer. The song from low roar and the trailer fit so well for me. It allowed me to finally mourn. An anchor was released from me. I severely needed the weights lifted. Bottling all the pain up like a typical male. It wasn’t healthy. 2 more losses for me and my wife I continued to watch this for my own personal therapy when I would feel like a zombie going through the motions in life. I’m happy to say me and my wife after a huge battle with consistent losses we we are 29 weeks pregnant. Had to turn to science and go the IVF route. Expecting a baby girl. You can feel free to judge or make troll comments. But this trailer is something special to me. I’m more than sure when the game comes out that it won’t have anything to do with an experience that I had. But it won’t stop me from playing the game. I just want to close this with saying a simple thank you to Hideo Kojima.
An impressive reaction. Most people in your situation would have gotten offended and angry at the company for making light of a topic instead of using as a chance to heal. I hope your new baby is growing happy and healthy toward her first birthday. Thank you for sharing this experience.

Death stranding is one of the greatest games I have ever played. My game of the generation is probably a tie between death stranding and red dead redemption 2. I adore both of them.
I know it sounds weird, but would you mind giving me your Discord or whatever. Would love to chat with you about stuff! We have very similar tastes. Saw your INSPIRATION playlist.
Emil M don't dig into the sentence, i basically meant that it still feels good watching this one even though the other is prob better. didn't go through effort changing comment after posting.
You realize that this is probably going to be Silent Hills right? Just under a new name. Hideo Kojima knew that no matter what, his vision of horror needed to be made.
+Lee Aciar that can't happen. I'm sure shitty Konami had some kind of ownership of concept art and development ideas and whatnot, if he makes a game that's at all similar he'd probs be sued
So after walking around Silent Hills late at night, someone kidnaps him, stole his belongings and his clothes, take him to the Island filled with dead fishes, and all he got left was a baby? 10/10 nice backstory m8...
Lol, I was going to say. It was a great game, but you have no room to say to move on from something when your name and picture is literally that character XD.
... I'm beginning to think if Kojima had just come out on stage, farted, and then waved bye, people would have gone crazy and considered it a new movement of avant garde performance art.
Guys, Could this be a metaphor for Kojima's own story ? He being that man in handcuffs (working for Konami) and he lost his baby (Metal Gear ) ? is this like the ultimate middle finger at Konami ?
"He eventually finds himself inexplicably stranded on a slimy expanse of hellish black mire which extended about him in monotonous undulations as far as he could see...The region was putrid with the carcasses of decaying fish, and of other less describable things which he saw protruding from the nasty mud of the unending plain. A portion of the ocean floor... thrown to the surface by a volcanic upheaval, exposing regions which for innumerable millions of years had lain hidden under unfathomable watery depths." - Dagon, H.P. Lovecraft
I just recently finished Death Stranding, and I so wish I could forget everything and play it all over again. The experience, the emotions, the story, the environment, everything about this game blew my mind. It was the hype from P.T. that really got me into video games in the first place, and the fact that I got a PS4 just in time to experience the hype for DS, I feel an odd sense of nostalgia and relief being able to play this game in the first few months of its release. I’m really excited to see what Kojima has planned for the future!
This trailer still gives me chills. Even after completing the game, it evokes a certain feeling in me that I can’t put my finger on. Love it or hate it, this game was a work of art
Gabe Konami are evil. They would lock kojima and other employees in a room and forced them to work on games. Games that were anticipated like silent hills and castlevania were cancelled. And konami gets pissed at any employee leaving thinking they should be arrested. Kojima productions is now independent with over 100 ex konami employees including kojima, Norman reedus, and del toro.
I can easily state that Death Stranding is a turning point in my gaming life, the most remarkable experience I've ever had while playing something, truly phenomenal. Thanks Kojima!
I just want to thank you Koijima... you may not even know yourself how many emotions you put us through, i'll buy a PS4 just for this game and i usually never even pre order anything, yet with this i know that it will be incredible... it takes a true genius (with an extremely talented team) to even have such a creative vision for a game in the first place, regardless of how it turns out
After finishing the game, every single thing shown in this as well as any other trailer makes perfect sense. And it is incredibly easy to understand and digest. Its kind of amazing how easy this game is to understand.
I'm like 70% through the game and it's really fun but the story is confusing as hell. Gonna guess there will be a big reveal which makes all the confusing parts make sense.
Demetter What’s confusing about it? I mean, the characters ingame are understanding the world with you and telling you about it as they learn more and more. I’m kinda interested in knowing what’s not well explained
@@demetter7936 Must have completed it by now but here's how it happens. Extinction Entities have an umbilical cord which connect them to the beach. They can cause a collision of the beach verse and our world and when the beach collides with out universe, several BTs consume thousands of human beings which causes thousands of voidouts and several of these voidouts together is called a Death Stranding.
That's true but if you actually play the games you would know how much the plot differs from that movie and how much more story there is in MGS, they are not even close. I want a Snake Eater movie with original sound track. Also just because you are inspired by something doesn't mean you copy it. Example; I watched the first woman to climb a grade (9A) route, it inspired me to Thru-Hike the AT north to south.
I chose the term "inspired" predominately for that reason. Although those movies are what inspired the entire Metal gear franchise, Kojima chose a more serious tone when he wrote the games. There are still a lot of similarities between the characters, no matter how corny the movie Snake is. Such as, Snake from the movies managed to ALWAYS get out of every situation, no matter the problem-just as our beloved Snake. It also should be noted, if those movies didn't exist I'm pretty sure Snake wouldn't. At the very least, he'd have a different name.
I'll agree to all that I'm just weary of people not liking what they consider to be unoriginal works. it seems to me that there have been so many stories told that it's almost impossible to be original these days. It's like the music industry there's only so many notes and every combination has already been tried and recorded.
Wow. Even as a kid I remember thinking the character from 'Escape from LA' would be ideal for that role, either cause they had same names or the same stark personality.
Years later... at the cusp of the game's release in 3 weeks' time... I still watch this trailer and remember the first moments I lay my eyes on this... the music, the atmosphere, the scenery... the whole thing still gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes. Not only was this a work of art typical of Hideo Kojima, but knowing that he beat all odds after his split with Konami that he's actually making a new game for all of us again. Am super grateful for his passion and genius.
We meet again Solid Snake, MG series introduced me to stealth games. i deny the idea of Splinter cell being a rival to MGS games. These are two great games. But Ubisoft is a shitty company which milked-dry and ruined the Tom Clancy titles (gotta accept the truth) but OUR LORD AND SAVIOR KOJIMA NEVER LETS HIS DISCIPLES DOWN IN ANY WAY. HAIL HIDEO!
lets face it, i think TPP gained "little amount of" hate because it was released on PC and those little kids those who are ruining PS4's community aren't happy about it. Nobody in the correct mind state would hate on TPP.
It is actually quite fascinating how this old trailer is close and representative of the final game, particularly of its plot and symbolism. When I saw it the first time, I was sure that it was just the surreal hodgepdge which Kojima had put together just to show anything whatsoever on E3.
did anyone notice... the japanese name for this game is "Hitori-Jima" in direct english translation it means "Island of one"..hmm... I wonder if this game is like trying to survive in a island/world kinda like Lost the tv show? , man I'm so excited!
I was thinking the same. Like those 5 figures reset earth and you need to survive... And of course get betrayed, learn there evil, kill them, aka new version of MGS bosses, etc etc.
I think the name is tying in with the English name. ''Island of one death stranding'' Instead of ''One man standing'' We already saw that Hideo was going really deep about the Homosapeans. Norman hugging the baby could be a sign of him saying: i am finally not alone in this world. There is a reason to live. But in the end he is the only one standing in the soil as a production of man kind. OR WE COULD LOOK TOO FAR INTO THIS and actually see that is is a novelist...
If the baby is the Metal Gear franchise, then it makes sense how his hands turn into oil afterwards; They took away his child and turned it into a sell out, pachinko machines. Oil=Money
The trailer is not meant to reflect the story about how he parted ways with Konami, but the ‘I’ll Keep Coming’ does refer to how Norman Reedus, Kyle Cooper and himself keep coming back, like waves Kojima confirmed it :D
Me encanta notar un posible cambio en las decisiones de guión despues de pasarte el juego y ver cómo utilizan de manera distinta el abrazo del minuto 1:19 en el producto final en comparación de este reveal trailer.
well he was gonna be a film director before deciding to do game development so i can see how this can compare with other directors. I so hope this game also has it's punchline or some awesome phrase (like when Snake dies the phrase of saying his name three times.)
That's the thing about movie and games. Some stories can't be told within the 2 hours of film. Games have a wider time frame, leaving to more possibilities and story archs that the movie industry will never achieve...maybe someday
Anyone else getting some huge 'godly' vibes from this trailer. So he's got c-section marks on his stomach and there are five floating figures over a black, dead wasteland. There's nothing to dissect without context but it seems very spiritual and mystical and I doubt it's horror. It'd be hard to make an actually scary game in a wide open area. We'll see.
The whole sea side horror thing would be amazing. like some thing out of a Junji Ito story like The thing that drifted ashore, or maybe Gyo. I still get a odd haunting feeling from The enigma of Amigara fault.
What an amazing game, such a masterpiece in storytelling, one of the best stories told thorugh videogames, interesting and addictive gameplay to a degree that I played this game every day for 12 hours completing the game and highways and doing sidequests... Kojima you did it again you madlad
You know what's weird? If you search up Death Stranding definition on google, it shows you a wikipedia page for cetacean stranding in which whales and crabs die on the beaches in a mass fashion. What exactly is Kojima up to?
In an interview Kojima stated that the reasoning behind the title was reminiscent of that, but in this it's something otherworldly that came to this planet and was left stranded.
Well...as anyone that's played any of Kojima's games knows, he's big on metaphors. Perhaps this metaphor is his way of showing video game companies like Konami, a once great company that produced many great titles and is now a pathetic shadow of it's former self, committing suicide (video game companies being the dead whales, crabs and fish)???
Even after all this time . . . This trailer is fenomenal and the peek of the crowd's reaction makes me cry every time. Love to the mastermind Hideo Kojima.
"Kojima has confirmed that the mascot is called Ludens. Ludens is first referred to in a russian 1987 novel about the coming of a superior race of beings called Ludens who experiment on humanity. The opening lines of the trailer are from William Blake's Auguries of Innocence which has a lot of meanings, but mostly that with time nature can restore itself even after the mistreatment of man, that human judgement will have dire consequences, and that there are multiple planes of existence. Finally going into the trailer, immediately the beached whales and dead wildlife directly links to the poem, showing the destruction of nature through humanity. The disappearance of the baby can also show the divine retribution of mankind by not being able to continue living on earth as mortals in order to allow nature to be reborn, as nature is all interconnected (see; the umbilical cords on mammals). Going into Norman Reedus' character and the 5 beings, there is a definite religious allegory as well. Not only from the cross on his stomach but also to the positions the figures are taking, creating an homage to crucifixion. This can take on two tones. either that Norman is humanities only salvation; as a Jesus figure or; that he is a Christlike figure fallen from grace and must save humanity through the destruction of gods. Going back to the Ludens theory, this can link greatly back to the religious themes as well. If the Ludens are seen as godlike figures, they could have been the ones who decided that humanity had gone too far and decided to destroy earth. now, Norman is also the character model for the Luden logo, so some are assuming that Norman himself is a Luden and has gone against his people. But I disagree because since he is wearing a handcuff I believe he is a human who has escaped some sort of testing facility the Ludens have made to either test on humanity or enslave them The 6 items around his neck are either keys or usbs of some kind, showing that he is a harbringer of knowledge and the key to humanities survival, though he is still not a completely pure being, as seen from the child turning to oil. There can also be a darker tone from the necklace, possibly symbolising 6 other children who had turned to oil, though they clearly do not die due to the prints still existing in the sand. Could it be that simply the corporeal forms of humanity cease to exist? This is a very valid claim when you look back to the auguries because of its hinting towards multiple planes of existence. Norman is chained to this one because he has not succumbed to humanities destruction of nature but at the same time is destined to be the one to break that cycle of humanity. And the lyrics are the representation of Norman's character. He's going to take the Ludens head on, though he is destined to be the unknown hero of humanity. This as well as the theory of humanity being on another plane of existence than him is in the line 'seen but never heard, buried underground'. The humans can clearly see him in some way, from the way the footsteps on the sand follow him around, but there is no way to contact one another." - RU
Yvonne Qiao I think ghost baby gave birth to him. everything is dying or being killed, probably only one life left. old chubby guy connects to baby, baby becomes Norman, old chubby guy becomes baby and disappears. I don't know how long that would take but, whatever.
josh 22963 Those invisible creatures can speed up the growth of anything that is alive, so the little baby is a clone of who is holding him, So when Norman dies the baby becomes him, as in a later trailer he dies but then wakes up and finds the baby vessel to be empty, he just lost a piece of his soul and he can do that for a few times only
Calm down dude I am not ranting. I think it's funny lol As mentioned above there are even mid game credits in MGS 5 with " A HIDEO KOJIMA GAME" lmao and as much as I love Kojima's work you can't deny that Kojima loves to be in the spotlight.
The best trailer for a game, period. The music is perfect. The trailer kept people intrigued. The game at the end, even with its flaws, is a masterpiece.
I remember when I first saw this trailer. I didn´t understand a single thing.
Fortunately, now, 3 years later, I understand close to nothing.
But Kojima keeps you... Coming. 😉

He kept us waiting huh ?
And then the game releases and it's actually an 8-bit side scroller platformer
Wait, I think Norman Reedus is in it!
And here we are, playing one of the most mysterious games ever
And I'm in love with it! The atmosphere is breathtaking.

Shdjdjs Skdj I’ve played it and I was super disappointed with it. I have at least 10+ hours in it already
Best game I played :3
Kojima has impeccable taste in music.
I thought the same thing I thought I was the only one who noticed that in all of his trailers the music sets the tone very well
and taste in men!... But seriously, he probably picked out of suggestions by other people, or just accepted the choice as "this sounds ok, do this" .
+Frozenkex He actually is very passionet about music. So i dont think he just said "this sounds ok.."
bet he told the guy who got this song. "this song.... what took you so long?"
Frozenkex If you frequent his Twitter page at all, you'll see that he is an avid listener of music. He often posts what he's listening to. Before he released the nuclear trailer for mgsv, he tweeted out that artists album. Before he made the GCD mgsv trailer, he tweeted out the artist "Garbage" and their song "not your kind of people." Curiously this isn´t even the weirdest thing that i have saw of Kojima. The man is a cardboard box full of surprises
I totally didn't get that reference.
This is possibly the weirdest game trailer I've ever seen. I love it.
good.
Still get goosebumps, even after watching the other trailer.
Rafael Martinez Yesss
Why would watching the other trailer exclude you from having goosebumps watching this one?
Emil M don't dig into the sentence, i basically meant that it still feels good watching this one even though the other is prob better. didn't go through effort changing comment after posting.

I wouldn't be suprised if the fan favorite was the last one alive and had a baby

1:27 in Del Toro trailer - Del Toro uses the baby machine

YO! THAT IS AWESOME
Del Toro uses the machine like 20 seconds later.
No he doesn't! If you watch videos side by side, you'll see that the baby disappears and appears in the same moment. :D
Umm just synced them up and watched them side by side. They do not line up at all..
Just checked that it happens exactly 30 seconds after.
Never thought this would end up being a delivery simulator game. Loving the game so far tho

Sairix TV most meta comment yet
Sairix TV or maybe this game’s world was created by the time paradox if you kill Ocelot in Mgs3.
So after walking around Silent Hills late at night, someone kidnaps him, stole his belongings and his clothes, take him to the Island filled with dead fishes, and all he got left was a baby?
10/10 nice backstory m8...
Vaas Montenegro did i ever told you the definition of insanity ?
Hermano, Far Cry 3 is like, 4 years old now. Move on already...
Vaas Montenegro you should take your own advice
Lol, I was going to say. It was a great game, but you have no room to say to move on from something when your name and picture is literally that character XD.
Agus Tri Shut the freak up? What are you, 9? Is that the best you can do, Hermano?
It’s been so long. The Tomorrow is almost here. 9 more days.
@Seth Robert Allen lol another kid here.
I just love that cheer when the Norman Reedus reveal occurs.
I bookmarked this version of the trailer where you can hear the crowd just for that reason
you hear the cheer for kratos in GoW 4?
You can just taste the hype right there.
Yup, great moment. Been waiting for a new take on GoW since 3.
I think they were thinking it was a continuation of Silent Hills.
But nope, Death Stranding, that's what you get guys.
Those 5 figures floating in the sky are like the five mgs games he has to surpass.
Yep with MGS3 as their leader in the middle.
I think he has done it
Jose I Parra Definitely.
... I'm beginning to think if Kojima had just come out on stage, farted, and then waved bye, people would have gone crazy and considered it a new movement of avant garde performance art.
yeah
omg i cant breathe

so true. he's well over hyped
Someone's gonna seal the air of that presentation in a plastic bag and sell it.
At 1:10 people screaming at the back gave a legendary feeling to this trailer
Yup
*THE REALNESS*
I love it.
"WHAT IS THIS? WHAT IS THIS?"
Guys, Could this be a metaphor for Kojima's own story ? He being that man in handcuffs (working for Konami) and he lost his baby (Metal Gear ) ? is this like the ultimate middle finger at Konami ?
This is genius! never thought of it that way well done
mind=BlOWN
Yo. That could be. It doesn't sound crazy either.
And something was removed from him.
Even the music fits right in: "I'll keep coming", like if he's not going to give up.
A portion of the ocean floor... thrown to the surface by a volcanic upheaval, exposing regions which for innumerable millions of years had lain hidden under unfathomable watery depths."
- Dagon, H.P. Lovecraft
Thank you for showing your love for Lovecraft my fellow UA-camr
Hell, that scene might just be based on those lines.
I wouldn't be surprised since Kojima is an avid reader and Silent Hill had Lovecraftian references
I would think so
Another good explanation
Norman reedus holding a Norman fetus
I just recently finished Death Stranding, and I so wish I could forget everything and play it all over again. The experience, the emotions, the story, the environment, everything about this game blew my mind. It was the hype from P.T. that really got me into video games in the first place, and the fact that I got a PS4 just in time to experience the hype for DS, I feel an odd sense of nostalgia and relief being able to play this game in the first few months of its release. I’m really excited to see what Kojima has planned for the future!
I am replaying the game and the ill see you on the beach hits differently
Expect to see Salvador Dali in the game.
And Hieronymous Bosch.
Maybe even Siegmund Freud.
hope they have space for napoleon as well
Some Giger perhaps?
This trailer still gives me chills. Even after completing the game, it evokes a certain feeling in me that I can’t put my finger on. Love it or hate it, this game was a work of art

The dislikes are Konami
Don't forget the pc beggar race
cj31 what’s with the drama between the two I’m really confused
Gabe Konami are evil. They would lock kojima and other employees in a room and forced them to work on games. Games that were anticipated like silent hills and castlevania were cancelled. And konami gets pissed at any employee leaving thinking they should be arrested. Kojima productions is now independent with over 100 ex konami employees including kojima, Norman reedus, and del toro.

After finishing the game, every single thing shown in this as well as any other trailer makes perfect sense. And it is incredibly easy to understand and digest. Its kind of amazing how easy this game is to understand.
elwingy Mhm, its not even like the story is actually confusing or nonsensical , there is just a LOT of things that need to be established

Helloooo
+Cynická svině
Hi
imagine if there was a metal gear solid movie, and norman reedus will play as solid snake
There are two..ESCAPE FROM L.A and ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK. Matter fact, the first games were inspired from those movies.

I still can't get over how weird this trailer is.
I know but i love it!
I just glad Kojima is using the weird factor from PT. That concept is too good to be wasted.
kojima is the video game equivalent of a modern artist.
Yep! It's weird all right! Mind officially blown!
The trailer confuses the hell out of me like did that dude give birth to the kid or what! I dont know any more
So we have no idea what kinda game this is, right? Could be a sports game for all we know, maybe those guys in the sky are his basketball buddies.
This made me laugh
action adventure sci-fi
no man the guys in the sky were 5 that's already a B-ball squad!! Norman must be coach!
The baby is the ball
My thoughts exactly. A vague 3min trailer that tells you SFA and people in the crowd are hootin' and hollerin'. smh
KOJIMA IS LOVE. KOJIMA IS LIFE.
"I'll keep coming" Looks like hideo is sending a message to someone...
to konami
Solid Snake lol
Says the splinter cell guy😝
Who is here after the release. !
Yup. I got it, so I'm gonna be playin it
I still want my Silent Hill with Norman Reedus, Kojima.
call the shitty Konami ,Kojima has nothing to do with it
It's alright, I'm beginning to think Death Stranding will be like a Silent Hills in disguise but better, taking place in a time after death.
Shirley Broker it might have some horror themes, but the gameplay will be nothing close to silent hill
Its way too early to tell, but thats what I think this is.
Shirley Broker
Norman Reedus and the Funky Fetus
omg
The baby doll has the same scar as Norman
I am Buu yeah
I would say this is a hint at their artificial creation/inception.
I'm afraid…it is "Hitori-Nojima".It's japanese novelist's name.
He wrote novels of MGS.
Also take into account the William Blake quote.
I was thinking the same. Like those 5 figures reset earth and you need to survive... And of course get betrayed, learn there evil, kill them, aka new version of MGS bosses, etc etc.
I think the name is tying in with the English name.
''Island of one death stranding''
Instead of ''One man standing''
We already saw that Hideo was going really deep about the Homosapeans. Norman hugging the baby could be a sign of him saying: i am finally not alone in this world. There is a reason to live. But in the end he is the only one standing in the soil as a production of man kind.
OR WE COULD LOOK TOO FAR INTO THIS and actually see that is is a novelist...
Genius
How much acid did hideo do when he came up with this
all the acid, like always
Smoke weed everyday
Enough to take me money
It was a mixer of cocaine with a bit of bath salts, I would know I sold it to him. Do you guys want some?
i was high when i see this and i still couldn´t understand it
If the baby is the Metal Gear franchise, then it makes sense how his hands turn into oil afterwards; They took away his child and turned it into a sell out, pachinko machines. Oil=Money
nice theory but we aren't close to what this trailer actually means
Is there a(n) America joke involved in this?
Nicholas Trimble
wtf
Idk, Kojima was done with MGS after 3, but Konami forced him to make more. He's surely glad to be done and on to completely different things.
The trailer is not meant to reflect the story about how he parted ways
with Konami, but the ‘I’ll Keep Coming’ does refer to how Norman Reedus,
Kyle Cooper and himself keep coming back, like waves
Kojima confirmed it :D
Me encanta notar un posible cambio en las decisiones de guión despues de pasarte el juego y ver cómo utilizan de manera distinta el abrazo del minuto 1:19 en el producto final en comparación de este reveal trailer.
Kojima has a wicked and smart mind. This game may have so much controversy, its gonna put hollywood movie directors to shame. GO #KOJIMA!!!
well he was gonna be a film director before deciding to do game development so i can see how this can compare with other directors.
MELUCHIDANCER what trailer?
#Gojima xD
well he also has a movie Director helping him out. Gullormo del Torro (don't know how to spell the name). he was helping him out with PT as well.
We'll see.
It doesn't seem scary but disturbing. I am getting huge Evangelion vibes from this game.
They're probably aliens. Based on the art for his company logo. About oil most likely.
+QWERTYGameCenter Nah it's just Kojima making a totally independent game.
+QWERTYGameCenter and anyway in what sense did this cinematic make you think it was a horror game?
The whole sea side horror thing would be amazing. like some thing out of a Junji Ito story like The thing that drifted ashore, or maybe Gyo. I still get a odd haunting feeling from The enigma of Amigara fault.
2:14 i remember first time how eerie and haunting that image was but now after beating the game I know the real meaning of it
Finished the story over the weekend. He's a genius.
Extra points for the song "I'll keep coming"
That's how the master Kojima sends a message to Konami

You know what's weird? If you search up Death Stranding definition on google, it shows you a wikipedia page for cetacean stranding in which whales and crabs die on the beaches in a mass fashion. What exactly is Kojima up to?
Are you saying Kojima ripped off Wikipedia? I knew that guy was a fraud...
I think he wants to draw attention to the current environmentally trouble we have!
+theallmightychad too deep dide
Norman Reedus and his Norman Feetus.
LOLOL! Did you come up with that yourself?!
Still the best DS trailer for me. It still gives me chills.
But I disagree because since he is wearing a handcuff I believe he is a human who has escaped some sort of testing facility the Ludens have made to either test on humanity or enslave them
The 6 items around his neck are either keys or usbs of some kind, showing that he is a harbringer of knowledge and the key to humanities survival, though he is still not a completely pure being, as seen from the child turning to oil.
This is brilliant, especially the shot where you have the figures floating in the sky. Gave me chills
so did norman reedus just gave birth to a ghost baby?
Oil-ghost baby.
Yvonne Qiao I think ghost baby gave birth to him. everything is dying or being killed, probably only one life left. old chubby guy connects to baby, baby becomes Norman, old chubby guy becomes baby and disappears. I don't know how long that would take but, whatever.
Play this trailer and the new one side by side
Yvonne Qiao watch the most recent trailer
josh 22963 Those invisible creatures can speed up the growth of anything that is alive, so the little baby is a clone of who is holding him, So when Norman dies the baby becomes him, as in a later trailer he dies but then wakes up and finds the baby vessel to be empty, he just lost a piece of his soul and he can do that for a few times only
