This was posted a year ago, I get it. Just wanted to say thank you for adding your talents to one of the most beloved visionaries of our gaming generation. Death Stranding is art that so many of us crave from our preferred medium, and you supported it, and so, us. Hideo, Norman, Conan (and so many others): I expect you won't see this but it means a lot to me to be able to say thank you.
Death Stranding is by far one of the best and one of the most profoundly strange video games of all time. I am entirely convinced that not a single person was sober during the entire production of the game and IT IS A MASTERPIECE.
Konami doesn't deserve him, they're gonna die out soon. They cant make anymore mgs games anymore because kojima was the brains so people would hate it. They really dont have anymore good titles without him.
@Sean Shea yes, It has all of kojima's touches in it. If you're a long time fan of Hideo then it's one of the best come backs in gaming history. Even if you arent, it's still worth the time. You won't be let down.
@Micah Mcgaffin this joke is tired and not funny anymore. think of something new you moron. And actually the game is phenomenal and won a ton of awards, maybe give something a chance before you knock it.
I agree, best game of 2019. I picked up a few games after Death Stranding but couldn’t get into them after playing DS. Such an amazing game, it puts the bar so high Honestly, I have a similar feeling with the world of Avatar. Just experiences which are a milestone in entertainment.
Playing the game again right now for thr PC release... and really I think this might be a record or something for the most detailed and robust use of MoCap of all time. Sam is super believable and expressive as a person inhabiting the world. And the acting from Reedus is great both vocally and classically.
Since I loved Darryl Dixon so much as a tv character, its awesome to see Norman compare Sam Porter Bridges to his Walking Dead counterpart. I just finished the story to Death Stranding last night. Wickedly deep game with a lot of lore written in via npc emails to the character, and log interviews with a TON of backstory.
Death Stranding and Alan Wake 2 are some of the very few truly artistic games that push the limits of the medium to something greater than both a game and a movie

Sadly this game was very split in terms of reviews and impressions. Personally I loved it. Even though the tasks seemed boring at first glance they actually are pretty engaging and fun! It does have its more annoying moments but overall I enjoyed it alot.
@Boco Corwin most 30 min shows have about 15 minutes of commercials. He cut his time down, the band left, and he no longer wears expensive suits so he could afford to keep his staff that all have families and need the work. With only one guest, the interviews are more personal and he's not speeding them along to hurry out the next guest. It's a smart move, especially for being on TBS.
When I started playing I was like HIDEO WTF IS THIS The game irritated me for the first 6 to 8 hours of playing it. I was trying and doing all sorts of things you're just NOT supposed to do. Walking, climbing and driving where you shouldn't do any of those things. I wanted to quite several times but thank goodness I didnt! I kept playing and kept learning.
I like his voice. It's so gentle
Death Stranding is by far one of the best and one of the most profoundly strange video games of all time. I am entirely convinced that not a single person was sober during the entire production of the game and IT IS A MASTERPIECE.
Thank both of you. Death standing is really a wonderful game
When Hideo calls, say yes
YOU HEAR THAT KONAMI?!
Norman has no idea how clapping works ahaha loved DS tho 150hrs of delivery
that was truly one of the most awkward applauses i ever seen
Best game last year thoroughly enjoyed the world, characters, and gameplay.
@Micah Mcgaffin this joke is tired and not funny anymore. think of something new you moron. And actually the game is phenomenal and won a ton of awards, maybe give something a chance before you knock it.
@Micah Mcgaffin this is the opinion of someone who didn't play it and is just parroting the opinions of other people who didn't play it. lmao pathetic
@@TheTrashMan193 lot of those pathetic guys are also in facebook always hatin and trashin the game
I agree, best game of 2019. I picked up a few games after Death Stranding but couldn’t get into them after playing DS. Such an amazing game, it puts the bar so high
Honestly, I have a similar feeling with the world of Avatar.
I guess I would also say "yes" if Hideo Kojima hit me up
Conan, thanks for the otter hood really saved my skin a couple of times😂😂😂
0:05 he does the clap haha
His clap game is unparalleled.
Best game for 2019. Still play it again and again until now just for relaxation.
This actor is amazing and has the look as a Zombie slayer.
Nice
Conan should be the Psycho Mantis for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid film.
😂🤣
Death Stranding and Alan Wake 2 are some of the very few truly artistic games that push the limits of the medium to something greater than both a game and a movie
I am playing death stranding now
Walking simulator is awesome dude!!!
Theres a reason why you are watching Conan while playing death stranding
Keep on keepin’ on
Best game of 2019
Smae duude! 🎮🍻
Throwing poop grenades and Conan gives you a otter hat. OTTER HAT!!!!!
That hat sounds and looks so cute! It pretty much hugs Sam's head when activated.
The Great Conando kicking ass.
I can listen to him speak for so long, his voice is relaxing
Fun fact: Norman Reedus' first movie was in Guillermo del Toro's Blade 2.
The only talk show host that will actually get himself into things others won’t Bc they were told no. Like he gets himself into so much that makes him a better host to enjoy, with so many things but like cmon a game. No one does that idc how much they “care”
God I love Death Stranding. It's sad people don't give it a chance and hate on it because all they think it is is walking.
Kyle gamers review bomb anything that's not hardcore mountain dew gamer fuel xtreme bmx 24/7 warfare.
@@ZechsMerquise73 What did Kyle say?
@EC Tron Yeah, I haven't been keeping up with Kyle, sorry. Monster Energy and Trials Offroad.
I mean. I gave it a chance and IT IS WALKING!
@@franwex Walking is cool and relaxing. But there's also hiding and building and shooting and... baby rocking.
jees i love Norman. such a great guy) for the first sight just an ordinary person, but god, so much charisma)) and very talented as hell
This is the first “strand”-type of interview
Keep on keeping on!
Cast him as David Gilmour if they ever do a Floyd movie.
I never realised this but they resemble each other a lot
@@kappiiee adam driver as rog?
Toast Servant dang that’s a great choice
@@toastservant9542 that would be great as well! Jezus christ, Norman reedus and adam driver would make a hell of a duo.
If they do a pink floyd movie I'm sure it will be over produced and suck ass. They'll probably get the director from transformers7 or something to do it. Honestly I'd rather just watch the documentaries with interviews if anything.
Norman Reedus just EXUDES joie d'vivre. What a powerful aura.
Conan having a really hard time remembering Hideo Kojima's name lol
I thought Walking Dead was Norman's magnum opus, but then I played Death Stranding.
Can't wait for the game to come out on PC
Its not for everyone... some people hate it, some people love it ... Played it on PS4, probably one of the best games I ever played to be honest (and no, I am not some kind of weird Kojima fan :) )
@strelokblyat Guy asked why I liked the game. I listed reasons why I love the game, hows that defending anything?
@@MK-ro4ue because the game has such a mixed reception with people either loving or hating it I'm gonna wait until it's on sale.
@@ColombianThunder that is the best move
just played it for weeks now, Norman Reedus looked younger in the game than in this interview lol
"IM SAM!"
"HELLOOOOOO?!?"
I understand this reference. 👍
Hi Sam
After 100+ hours of Death Stranding, *Norman Reedus* feels digital
Sadly this game was very split in terms of reviews and impressions. Personally I loved it. Even though the tasks seemed boring at first glance they actually are pretty engaging and fun! It does have its more annoying moments but overall I enjoyed it alot.
Tbh conan was more just funny than a joke. Loved seeing him then getting the otter hat! Lol
What happened to clueless gamer ?
I don't have a clue man
@@mayuzumiandme are you a gamer who happens to be clueless about clueless gamer?
It became "celebrty guest and Conan pretend they play" and appears every few years now.
The new-ish 30 minute show doesn't have time for most of the extra stuff that came with the old hour long episodes.
It's a smart move, especially for being on TBS.
i played it right now and im in love with it. i recently found you too Conan and im still relieved u still have the same joke🤣
When I started playing I was like HIDEO WTF IS THIS
The game irritated me for the first 6 to 8 hours of playing it.
I was trying and doing all sorts of things you're just NOT supposed to do.
Walking, climbing and driving where you shouldn't do any of those things.
I wanted to quite several times but thank goodness I didnt!
I kept playing and kept learning.
I think after 10 maybe 12 hours of playing, without noticing the game grabbed a hold of me and didnt let go untill after I saw the credits roll!
Stockholm syndrome!
Sammmeeee I thought my money went down the drain but I still played it and enjoyed it!
