- A new trailer for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2 shows us new story details and gameplay as well as the return of Sam Porter Bridges and Fragile as they venture beyond the borders of the former United States to prevent the Death Stranding. The sequel is coming to PS5 in 2025.

@@bmqww223 The original game is much more than that. People with very little attention spans just don't have the patience to get past that (which isn't even that long until you get equipment that makes traversal faster and easier) and experience it. It has much of the same Kojima DNA that made the MGS games what they are, including the stealth and combat as well as writing and story making it a much bigger experience than just "a game".
So not stuck on Iceland-looking America anymore, but way more diverse earthly environments to traverse and deliver. They gave the illusion of being larger also. They looked gorgeous!
Love seeing Shinkawa's still got it when it comes to the designs of everything

@Kyle-Marxluxia connect the dots, GOW is on Playstation, DS2 is shown on a Playstation event. When Kojima did that little snippet, what game came to his mind. Doesn't matter who did it first. We can have a conversation about how most triple A platformers have been copying from pitfall, but that's neither here nor there
