It actually is 💯
This trailer is a masterpiece the game came out in 2015 and I still come back and still feel phantom pain...
10 years later and i'am voluntarily watching (again and again) this trailer !
Still the best trailer ever I've rewatched it so many times.
Yep
True.
Remember kids, stay on schedule and don't overspend your budget
But boss, that Best of the 80s iTunes playlist isn’t just gonna license itself!!!
If only Konami hadn't fired Kojima. The game would probably recieve even more praise than it already has.
Kojima did none of that
Remember boss, Konami was founded on good games, not shitty freemium cellphone games
Eli F jokes aside that probably did cost half the budget
Still can't stop to play this game and MGO. This masterpiece was a shining light, even in death of cooperation between Kojima and Konami
melagkomas20 respect for a fellow MGO die hard soldier
MGO was the shit. Mad knife kill streaks over here. The knife'll get you out of anything.
Nuclear Pigeon I m still playing MGO. There are about 200 players per day, now. Game is dying
John Locke
RIP MGO. Twas a good game.
Nuclear Pigeon it's not over yet :D
Just yesterday I played a kamikaze C-4 match with my Japanese kamikaze C-4 comrades :D
I hate you konami. Kojimas your superior
@Reggie the bunkler Survive is a spin off so it doesn't really compare, all spin offs beside Rising did more or less the same.
Rising 2 is quite likely..Since Kojima didn't worked on 1 it won't make any controversy.
@@RX-NoName I think rising deserves a sequel as well
@@itzjdude616 well... Rising producer is the new mg producer. So it could happen.
@@RX-NoName :)
welp konami did trust kojima with 100 million dollars. mgsv wouldnt be made without them.
Still here!! 2024..I completed high school, engineering masters and even got married...came back here to show my wife this trailer❤❤man how we have grown!!!
Kojima has always done the best trailers in the whole industry
It's been 9 years, what a great time to watch this amazing trailer
It's called “The Phantom Pain” because fans feel the pain of the content that was lost.
Game still looks and plays like it came out this year, almost a decade later!
9/1/2024 watching it now as a true 9 years has passed when this trailer has released. tomorrow will be the end of my 9 years
Kojima was not able to complete his masterpiece...and yet...it is one of the very very best games of all time!!! never gonna forget this journey!!
kojima got kicked out from konami soo fuuuuuuk konami
The game's finished, what do you mean. Just the extra chapter which is already everywhere on UA-cam and the game itself
@@moister3727 can i play this part in the game?
@@moister3727 Eli took away Sahelantropus and the childrens. What happen next? What happened to the childrens?
@@OKamiKAT They escape with Eli, probably to make his soldiers. Venom's and Skull Face's stories are finished in that game, and still the cinematics for the last chapter are there.
I would have like them to finish the last chapter to close things off, but it wouldn't add much to the story really. The story is a bit of a mess in terms of structure.
This trailer made me play the entire saga :)
Is anyone here still in 2018 ?
Yknow i recently got into metal geat and theres so mugh of this series im sure replaying the games after the first time wilk take these games into the next century lol
yeah i'm still here just to suffer
@@tommasocaccia1307 the feels man the feels
@@sulimansultan8593 i still playing this game and this trailer still hipe to me :0
I rewatch this trailer once few months
Watching v in absolute agony and then the slow logo reveal to the sound of mechanical beeps and taps absolutely guts me every time
There's still hope people
The real big boss is on a mission
Guys do you remember mission 46...
Since the release of this trailer has passed... Quite some time. Yes, yes. I know. You would like to know how long.
I'm afraid it's been... 9 years.
"I'm afraid it's been 9 years"
Still masterpiece
Kojima leaves the game unfinished
The fans : they played us like a damn fiddle
Blame Konami.
Konami releases 40$ Demo:
The fans that didnt know they were getting a demo instead a 7-8 hour Small spin off kinda thing:
THEY PLAYED US LIKE A DAMN FIDDLE.
New DLC now available with only $34.99:
Konami: The Company Who Sold the World
yes
2024 and this trailer is still a masterpiece.
GOAT game trailer
That part with kaz hitting the kid with the crutch gets me everytime
C Dizzle he was just a nigguh man no prob
I think he did that to test their abilities. Suffice to say, the kid didnt disappoint.
But i havent played in years, so dont quote me on that.
"I don't like kids"
Most relatable Kaz moment
I need to tell you something. Please listen, and try not to panic. This game has been out for some time. Yes, yes, I know, you would like to know how long. I'm afraid it's been … nine years.
Kojima is superior. Konami is nothing, is mercenary...
He is the same monster energy drink monster
@@TrenElZombie hoooo yeeeah
RWDS That’s your opinion, but if you view that why are you here? He created one of the greatest game series ever made and this is a trailer for it, so why did you decide to come here? Just to bash him?
@@turquoisenomad8418 I like Kojima and it’s cool that he’s doing his own thing with his reformed Kojima Productions but comments like Marcks are embarrassing. It’s like they’re part of a cult or something.
Tfw you'll never get this same level of excitement again. Everything is just kinda numb lately. I come back here sometimes to remember how hopeful and happy life used to be.
I've never felt so much hope or hype about a game or a movie since. I don't know if it's age or if the game broke my heart by not being as good........
It's cool how the cutscenes are mimicking shaky cam that's usually use in military and action movies.
I’m afraid it’s been… 9 years
2019 and still enjoying this game
Still watching this in 2019. All the trailers give me the feels... Can't believe it has been so many years already since I saw this the first time. I really wish we had seen the beginning part in the game, but anyway I still love MGSV so much. I'm glad we haven't seen much of Death Stranding, so it is a big mystery to everyone.
One of the best games ever made.
Indeed
no
That scene of Venom and Skullface on the jeep while a Metal Gear Rex-like stands in the backgroud makes you think they were working together to build it. Then Venom jumps off the car, Skull Faces turns around a bit and the scene cuts; i don't know why but it feels very dramatic.
As a guy that still hasnt played MGSV this hypes me up
Who is going to play metal gear solid v before gta vi after finishing gta v? We are excited :D
This pain... it never goes away..
2:09 Ocelot in the 60's be like:
konami = franchises serial killer
Where am I?... Why Can't I move my Body?... Am I in a Dream?... Something is Coming... Why is this happening to me ?... Have I gone to Hell?... Open your Eyes... OPEN YOUR EYES ALREADY
I adore the voice acting at 4:36
3:45
Still gives me goosebumps every time,,,
I like how all the scenes when taken out of context makes everyone look bad, but in game literally the next frame is like “nah it’s fine”
THE BEST TRAILER EVER MADE
Still gives the feels no matter how many times I see this...
Same
No other Trailer can mess with the Trailer of Phantom Pain. I remember the first time ive seen it and i was blown away. Epic
I never played a MGS game I got chills over this trailer. WTF
You should
Just get yourself a Ps3 and play them all
9 years later.
Still my favorite trailer of all time
This year I made a resolution to play this game finally. I had this great baseball coach in highschool, and he was all around a stand-up guy. He even helped out with the special needs kids. He always asked me if I played the game and I never got around to it. I find out years later he died to suicide. It hurts me still even today. James, rest easy buddy, I'm gonna get this game and dedicate my first playthrough to you.
This pain..is ours. And no one else’s.
7 years on and this is still one of the coldest game trailers of all time
2013 - Hope
2014 - Rage
2015 - Evil
That’s how I would sum up all the E3 trailer made for the phantom pain
