BEST DECISION EVER!!! I just got a new set of Z765(P-7)/ Z565 (6-4) combo irons. Best irons I have ever hit! As well as the RTX 3 wedges. I have played the Z-Star yellow ball for years as well. I use to play Wilson staff V4 irons and felt they were amazing and very underrated... these Srixon irons are far superior and even more underrated!

Two things: 1. Smart Golf - Getting to Greens in regulation, so maybe not pulling out the driver as much. 2. Playing regularly with consistent intervals and looking to build my strength up steadily...I put the clubs down for a few years but in 2019 made some decisions and am back.

When I first saw what putter you're using, I thought, "boy that looks cheap..." I rolled them in my local store today and I have to say, they feel really, really nice. They don't look as premium as other brands, but they easily feel better than most anything else in the store. The weighting that's in the toe and heel of the putter adds a ton of stability too. It's a shame they will be overlooked by 99% of consumers, but it's a great putter.

I like this move. It's good to see you mix it up, to show that price doesn't always make a difference in performance, and just to give one of the most underrated names in golf some air time. If I weren't playing the Mizuno irons and wedges, the Z-Forged or Z785 and RTX4 would be the clubs I'd be most interested in switching to.
Recently changed my bag up last month by going backwards in time to Mizuno MP-32 irons and T7 wedges, an old Yasuda 1-iron, a Ping i25 driver and Rapture 3 wood. Shot my best couple of rounds in months with these recently, and the sum total cost of my entire bag, including the bag, is less than a new set of irons here in Oz.

I genuinely don’t understand why this channel doesn’t have more Sub’s than some other “golf channels.”
I know that Mark can rub people up the wrong way and be opinionated, but if your serious about the game, this channel is by far the most analytical as a player and probably the most beneficial (in terms of improving as a player) as well as fun to watch.
I can only assume that most people want to have their egos stroked and watch some guy smash a few balls at a net and tell them how good it is based on that.

I did not buy it as I wanted to wait on the new version and I will test it against the launcher HB Turbo. The launcher is halve the price and if finds the fairway more often than not it's going into the bag.
Actually I guessed that you could go in that direction especially after you tested the launcher HB irons 2 years ago and you liked them that much.

Absolutely play the AD333, I think for most golfers, possibly it’s the more relatable product for comparison and testing. I personally can’t afford to buy a new driver every year or swap out my wedges and irons as often as I’d like, in fact I haven’t for 8 years. Certainly a box of Pro V’s, Z-stars or Chromeys is way too much of a luxury at my level (17hcp). AD333’s are a far more realistic option for someone like me where time and money are the two biggest factors when playing golf. Congrats on the new deal, looking forward to the channel in 2020 👍🏻

I remember An old club fitting rule from years past, the 24/38 rule. Most golfers shouldnt play an iron with less than 24 degrees of loft and longer than 38 inches. That used to mean you stopped at 3 iron, but With lofts being so strong now days most amateurs should stop at 5-6 iron depending the loft.

When I was fitted I tried the Srixon irons, loved the feel and sound. The numbers weren’t there, I ended up it’s the P790. Get fitted people that is where you will see the biggest difference. I am going to get fitted for a hybrid next.

That makes two of us who have switched to Cleveland( / Srixon) this year! Launcher cbx irons and Cbx wedges, Tfi 2135 putter, Launcher HB woods. Can’t give up my Snell MTB- X balls though. Too darn good.

The V-sole on that iron in the thumbnail gave it away for me. Lovely irons. I build my dad a Srixon set and he is rocking them.

I used to play AD333 on par for my game with a Z-star. I currently use Pro V1x, I really like the spin I get around the green. Queensland greens and conditions don't seem to get those zip back shots you guys and U.S. guys get when hitting wedges so for me it's more about controlling the roll out. But then again, I am not a great golfer but I have a good short game that I control well. $$ wise I have loved the srixons at AUD$55 for z-star compared with AUD$73 per dozen for pro v1/x

My big golf change in 2020 will hopefully be a new driver (9.5°, R-Flex, right handed) and new wedges (steel, R-Flex, right handed, ~60°, ~56°, ~52°).
I'm still looking for good offers, because I can't and won't spend too much money.

Such a major change. Especially with putter. Irons and wedges won’t be much of a change. Mark might even like the irons more but going from Scotty to Cleveland putter is a huge leap

Wow! I have to admit I am floored with the switch, but so excited about being exposed to gear that are not mainstreamed everyday. At the end of the day, it's all about the golfer so I expect to continue seeing some great golf. The beauty of this is that we will be able to follow you over a long period of time, so much more valuable than a 15 minute comparative review that always leave me wondering why I watched… Thanks for the innovative content!
ZV-Star, my go-to ball, while the AD333 was the ball I was using a few years ago and while the AD333 are a great deal for the money, the price difference is completely justified in my opinion. Better feeling and all around performance with the Z/ZV-Star...
    Cheers

Great choice to partner with Cleveland/Srixon Mark! I play the Z Star yellow and Z Star XV balls (seasonal change up) in Arizona. Last year (2019) I was shopping for new wedges and was fortunate to find three brand new in plastic CG 10's. I know those go back several season but they are as good today as anything I've played or demo'd since these were first brought to market. Cleveland rocks! Cheers!

Congratulations Mark!!! I've played Srixon from the i302's to the Z785's and it's great to see them partnering with someone who will give them the additional exposure you're capable of! I'll let you and the Muppets borrow my i302's if you ever want to do an old school new school challenge. They're still amazing and speak to the sustained quality of Srixon.

Dont look so embarrassed Mark .Cleveland/Srixon products seem to be more affordable than some of the latest £550 drivers etc.Actually looking forward to seeing how you get on with their equipment especially the ad 3330 or whatever golf ball.Welcome to the everyday golfers price point Mark and I actually think the change makes your blog more relevant to the majority of us who love the game but need value and honesty from manufacturers and guys like yourself

I use Srixon driver, crossover, irons and balls as well as Cleveland wedges and can’t fault there clubs. They suited my eye and I got great numbers with them. The ball I use is the ad333 tour so would be interested to see you compare between the different balls

Love your changes and how you think. It's refreshing to observe someone not stuck in their thinking. Golf needs pros who are willing to try something innovative. Not changing much but have bought for 80 euro for set of 2/3/4/5 cleveland 588 gliderail hybrids practically new and love them. Rest of set Mizuno 6 to SW 900 hot metal irons. Sticking with my beloved driver Cobra bio cell. However enthused with your review " so far" on the Xxio X driver as I did have their irons which I loved.

This is going to be great for Srixon/Cleveland/Xxio as well as you Mark!!! These are brands that are not often highlighted as much as the others and that's great for golf to see. Can't wait for the course vlogs to roll!!!

I am not doing any change this year...want to play 1 year with no change to see where my game will go. But let's talk about your change Mark. I love that it will be a journey to find your bag. I am so interested. I loved those black boa style shoes. I know of Asics running shoes and they are very popular with the tri athletes in my area. The piguin brand not familiar with but if you loose any more weight, you will be in a kids small. Cant wait for the content in the new year

Mark, for 2020 I'm upgrading my RT knee replacement with a NEW knee replacement on the 7th. I hope I can be playing again by 04/01/2020 then I can compare my Cobra Superlite irons with the Cobra T-Rail & Cleveland Launcher turbo.

Hi Mark. We will see if these club changes work out for you. However...I can say...I played the Z Ball for some years. I found when the tempreture got low, say below 10c the Z seemed to drop off a bit. So when it was cold I played the ...you've guessed it...the AD333. That performed well warm or cold, but the Z was better. A good compromise was the AD333 Tour. Better than the AD333, and didn't suffer when cold. Looking forward to see how this all pans out. Bythe way, I left Srixzon Balls when the Callaway Tru-Vis came out, failing eyesight etc. Still playing them. Love em in fact.

I love Srixon clubs. I okay Z765 - 5-PW. Used to play 4 - 5 in Z565 but changed to 5 in Z765 and a 4 Hybrid Srixon Z355. Love them. Play Cleveland Wedges too RX3 50’ .Also play the Cleveland Classic Driver 9.5, which reminds me of my old Persimmon Driver. But would like to change this coming year to Srixon Z Series Driver. Need pennies first. And play a Cleveland Square Putter. Great clubs though and great price too for the quality you get.
