Been using my P770/P7CB combo set and the tp5x stripe daily since late-August; I have a 6i in the 770 and p7cb, the 770 is currently getting the nod in my bag. My game has been significantly more consistent on approach and iron shorts. I've been really happy with the numbers im getting out of each iron. My good ball striking days are a hair better compared to my old set, but my bad days are massively better.
Can’t wait to hit the p7cb. Thinking about going 8-pw and possibly the 7, but I gotta see how that goes for me. Also be thinking about going a degree flat. Hitting off mats the other day and noticed the burn I was getting. Looked like a degree flat would do me good
I went with the 7CBs in 8-pw. They’re fabulous irons. When you hit that perfect center strike, it just makes you smile. I went 770s in 5-7 (playing a hybrid at 4). My misses are a bit more frequent in the longer irons (toe side and low) and the 770s help mask that a bit. I’m a big fan of these irons so far, and don’t think you have to be an amazing ball striker to play them. Even when I do get a toe or low strike with the CBs, I’m not getting huge drop offs, but you’ll certainly get more feedback.
The best golf company I have ever played for is Taylor made . I’ve never been so impressed with golf equipment until I switched to Taylor made. the driver is a game changer the wedges so dam good. Okay. No one commented on the Olsen/Taylormade stick?! Come on. It’s pretty sick looking. Also, the CBs are good. I had a chance to hit them this past week.
Just added a UDI 3 iron looking at the courses I was playing they had smaller fairways so I was playing just off the fairway in the rough and the 7 wood was having to many miss hits. Still not sure that the 3 iron will stay but liking it for those par 5's. It also depends on courses I'm playing on if I'm going to play with 1 wood(driver not counted) or up to 3.

I am a big early extender and have found the only way I can hit a 3 wood flush off the turf is if I drop it down a notch on the loft sleeve. This is making me think I probably have to go flat in my irons as well.
@@tylernimocks I wouldn't know the specifics but I would assume it has to do with dynamic loft and face angle at impact. With early extension, golfers tend to "throw the club at the ball" last minute to make good contact. I’m not Trottie, but… Start at standard if you’ve never been fitted before. Your body is accustomed to swinging std length, so it’s a great baseline. Then go up in .5” increments to see if dispersion improves or worsens. If you find you’re more comfortable swinging the longer clubs but dispersion isn’t improving, then look at lie angles because you may need to go flat to adjust for the extra length.
