I used to build model cars as a 12 year old. Limited budget, limited equipment, very limited skill. They turned out OK to the eyes of someone without knowledge, but without an airbrush or patience my work was truly dreadful looking back. I stumbled upon this superb build and was awestruck by it. I simply lack the capacity to get my head around it. A stunning work of art. Beautiful. The way the existing parts are modified, the incredible skill and understanding of detail is amazing. I watched with mouth open. Thank you for such an enthralling video. I have subscribed. I can Knock you out a poem or short story with relative ease but you are on another level my friend.
Closest I've come to this level is building Tamiya's Honda RC166 motorcycle with all the detail after kits thrown in. Love the way you captured the fuel lines (not to mention the dozens of other outstanding details). Had to smile though, no matter the airbrush talents and equipment, that damn white works best coming out of a rattle-can.
I've been watching your videos for years, to learn and to appreciate your models... But this model is on a whole other level than anything else you've ever built before. I am incredibly impressed with the level of detail you've brought to this. You can really see your passion for this car come through. I couldn't stop smiling watching this, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for the next kit you do.
As a craftsman I believe in sharing skills. Perhaps some commentary explaining how you get to this level? The old adage of knowledge is power was dead and buried 40 years ago. Great build but please commentary to share how you achieve this level.
Spectacular build of the first Japanese car to win a Grand Prix - amazing to think Honda had never made a road car at this point in their history too. I wonder who will be the first Japanese driver to win a GP?
I don’t understand nothing about cars but the way you work and all this video are master pieces. I love watching it and see the magic in the details. ❤
This is truly amazing 😍❤️ I was at a hobby shop and saw this kit next to a 180sx type x... I was so torned... But i picked up the 180 just because I couldn't find it anywhere else... Now you make me regret my decision...
I have always considered the RA 272 as the greatest F1 car ever, Just ordered the Tamiya, then saw your video... and promptly realized I'd have a LOT of work ahead if looking for your degree of perfection... Think I'll be ok with a simpler, honest job, though I'll add the hoses...and also the shocks' springs ...hmmm Great music too ! This car was fa-bu-lous.
Your work inspired me to build models of my own. Currently working on the Tamiya R32 Skyline. Thank you for showing incredible detail and that there’s more to building models than just gluing painted pieces together.🍻
Wow. Your videos are absolute works of art, much less the models you create in them. Thank you for putting so much into both, I truly am grateful and inspired.
This build is beautiful! I was gonna say "Hey what about seatbelts?" But I did some research and this car didn't have seatbelts to begin with... turns out seatbelts weren't mandatory in F1 until 1972- go figure
I've built many Tamiya models and they are an awesome product. Also formula 1 cars. I love the product the detailed install sheets I hope they keep viable for years
this is hands down the best build you have made on this chanel so far, there is nothing that i anticipate more than one of your videos, they keep getting better and better to watch i feel relaxed excited and also learned a lot of tricks i never tought existed, you are a master of your craft jun, keep making these videos for as long as you can, much love!
What a beauty! Thanks for showing how you built it. I wish Tamiya would give us the 1966 cars when they changed the formula to 3 liters - the Ferraris, Maserati-Coopers, BRM, Lotus and of course Black Jack.
Great video as always mate! What I love the most from these cars is that the engine are a big play when building. Details are much pronounced than new F1s.
Si el modelo está a la altura del real , lo que me asombra es el taller mecánico, es una verdadera locura. Felicitaciones, uno de los mejores trabajos de modelismo que he visto. Saludos desde México
This is masterpiece. Job, music, lightning, everything. Watching you from your red capuccino, its amazing how you, your channel and your skill upgraded. Good luck with next models, stay safe
Model building genius! My builds are nowhere near as detailed as this yet I’m proud of them. I can only imagine how you feel whenever you see what you accomplished here. Fantastic work.
I WATCH WITH ADMIRATION. I BUILT THIS MODEL MNY YEARS AGO, UNFORTUNATELY THE GLUE DID NOT STAND THE TEST OF TIME. I THINK IT IS TIME TO GET IT OUT AGAIN AND DO A REBUILD WITH A LOT OF YOUR TWEEKS ADDED. THANKS FOR THE INCENTIVE.
I've been so motivated to try harder. I've ordered this kit and am going to try to build it like you did. Well...as best I can. Thank you for putting the info on what you use.
I have to say this build was absolutely brilliant! The time and effort that you put into this beautiful Masterpiece is amazing! I love to watch and learn new techniques because I am also a builder! Thank you for putting together a video of how you created this work of Art! I hope you have many years of satisfying building ahead of you my friend! Thanks for sharing your work.
Wow! Masterful build and documentation. Really enjoyed watching your pin vise technique and use of materials to modify the engine. The RA272 was such a fantastic car.
Another fantastic build from you sir, all your videos are so enjoyable and satisfying seeing everything being put together to create a masterpiece. Well done and keep up the great work!
I went to an IPMS model expo in Melbourne, Australia, on the weekend, and this little beauty was there! After the show I found your video and am really, really impressed. Thankyou so much for listing your materials and providing links to suppliers. Subbed.
Unbelievably outstanding masterpiece!!! I enjoyed watching the whole video and this did provide an invaluable reference to my future build! Very inspiring!!!! Thank you very much!
The detail is magnificent and I will take a lot of it in my build but I wonder all the detail and no seatbelts, is it because the real one doesn’t had seatbelts?
This may be your masterpiece so far. What incredible work you do, sir. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video.❤️
Seriously Jun, you are one talented man!

It is 2 in the morning and after watching this I can go to sleep a happy man. Simply stunning.
I'm impressed. Couldn't believe the level of detail that went into that model.

Thank you very much for your support along the way Jared. I really appreciate it!
what an era - the fuel tank right in front of you, with the fuel line running across your head...great model
One of the Honda cars after this one the RA302 was made of magnesium and is considered the deadliest car of all time.
My word. That was so much more than just building a plastic model kit.
Inspiration to try and do things myself with a bit more flair.
Unbelievable level of craftsmanship and attention to detail!
As a craftsman I believe in sharing skills. Perhaps some commentary explaining how you get to this level?
The old adage of knowledge is power was dead and buried 40 years ago.
Great build but please commentary to share how you achieve this level.
Your attention to detail continues to amaze me! With every build your cars look more and more realistic. Excellent job!
This isn’t modeling, this is art! Exquisite.

That answers my question for my build.

1/20 スケールをディテールアップする内容が、素晴らしくて、プラモもここまで作りこまれて、本望ですね❣
1/12 レベルの密度に見えるという感じです。

Beautiful Car 🏎
Very good video and very nice results of the final build. Nice idea using dress making pins to simulate bolts. Will have to try that method. 👍
i love F1. hope this channel blows up
Jesus, and I thought I was fussy! Incredible.
It looks great, the engine in particular is amazing!
Two suggestions
Make the notes larger
Leave notes on screen a little while longer
Beautiful job! You should add a big bag of money to the mechanic bench...
😊
Wow
Wow! Masterful build and documentation. Really enjoyed watching your pin vise technique and use of materials to modify the engine. The RA272 was such a fantastic car.
