Some years ago, I met Jim Redman here in germany at a local historical racing event. We talked a bit and I saw a t-shirt with him and a Honda and i said: WOW! The RC166... He looked at me and said: It was a beast! I swear, that was one of the greatest moments in my life.
You showed wonderful skill to build this fabulous kit, I can say that I had the pleasure of seeing and hearing this beautiful machine ridden by the late great Mike Hailwood here at Mallory Park in the UK, I will never forget it.
Outstanding kit engineering by Tamiya. Great build too. The only area which lets the whole project down, is the use of vastly oversized Phillips screws, which look totally out of place.
This is truly, Incredibly, Drop-dead gorgeous!! I can't begin to explain how amazing your builds are , how truly beautiful these models look, Oh the detail!! Just makes us Ecstatic
